How busy were on you on Valentine's Day? Did you have any time for yourself?
[❤️] “I... was very busy!” she replied, giggling nervously, “I was practicially swamped so... I really didn’t have time to do anything, really...”
Of course, this was a lie. It was just the normal work at the inn. What time she wasn’t working, she was just avoiding Valentine’s Day in general by watching reruns of Neo Featherman.

[❤️] A smile crossed Yukiko’s face to see her best friend grin so widely. When Chie mentioned giving the lunch to Naoto for a work thing, she folded her hands together and nodded.
“Advice from a future police officer about a detective, hm?” she asked amusedly, “I can’t think of anything any better than a meal from the heart on a break anyway.”
Well, meal from the heart was... a word for it.
[❤️] Yukiko was quiet for a minute, thinking over what Chie just said. Suddenly, she dropped the potato she was peeling, peel and all, into the meal, before grabbing another potato for good measure and dropping it in as well.
“Makes sense to me!” was punctuated by an amused giggle, as she picked up the spoon she was using to taste with before, “I’m sure that was exactly what it was missing!”

[❤️] “You know... That might just be a great idea!” Yukiko replied, as she began to pack her and Chie’s... monstrocity into a lunchbox, “Kanji-kun wanted me to try meals out on Teddie, but you pretty much nipped that in the bud.” She grimaced slightly at having to put up with that. Again.

[❤️] “Sweet things mix together with anything! Sweet and bitter… Sweet and sour pork… Sweet and spicy should be perfect!” With that, Yukiko walked over to the other side of the Amagi Inn kitchen, digging around in a cabinet for a moment and returning to Chie and the dish with a bag of sugar.
Quietly opening it, she began to pour and pour… and pour some more… sugar into the dish.

[❤️] At this point, either Yukiko was ignoring the foul stench of the meal, was experiencing a bit of sensory overload from the taste she had taken, or was experiencing both, as she didn’t seem to notice how rank the meal had gotten.
“Potatoes... Potatoes...” she thought for a second, deep in thought, “Ah! We’ve got some of those!”
Another trip across the kitchen to retrieve a bag of potatoes, Yukiko dodging past one of the cooks to grab it. Returning to Chie and laying it on the counter, Yukiko picked up a knife and began to peel it.
...Not very well, but it was at least peeling somehow.
“...I bet it would be saltier if I left the peel on, but that probably wouldn’t be the best idea.” To say the least.

[❤️] “That’s a great idea! And if worse turns to worse, I’ll just be sure to make sure he washes it down good. Thanks, Kanji-kun!”
“Taste test!”
“N-nevermind…” An absolutely disgusted face came from Yukiko’s newest cooking experiment. Something was definitely wrong with this dish… But what?

[❤️] “Ooooh, that sounds like a fantastic idea, Chie!” Yukiko nodded, before asking, “But exactly how much hot sauce do you add to dishes anyway... The whole thing? I’d hate to waste any ingredients, after all.”

Yukiko, did you hear about the panty raid? You should steal some underwear, too!
“St-stealing underwear?!” Yukiko asked, a little in shock by this news, “Who would do such a thing?! It’s Teddie, isn’t it? I’ll have to barricade my room as soon as I can!”
With that, Yukiko left to do just that.

“Honestly, it’s the only time I’m willing to compromise my diet,” she explained simply, raising a thumbs up in affirmation.

Do you have any favorite drinks? I heard bubble tea is amazing!
“Bubble tea is really delicious,” Yukiko agreed, smiling lightly, “I also have a love for Oolong tea and different sorts of milk teas. They actually help me sleep at night from time to time.”

How often do people from your school go to stay at your inn?
“Since Ms. Yamano’s murder, it’s become much more common than I would like to admit,” she gave a soft sigh, but replied regardless, “But I suppose it’s not all that surprising. There’s not much to do around here unless you drive to Okina or Tatsumi Port Island.”

Tell us an embarrassing Chie story!
“Ooh, this is a good one!” Yukiko’s eyes lit up in happiness at getting to tell this one, “Okay. Chie and I were eating at Aiya, right? Aika-chan had just served us our food and Chie had ordered the Mega Beef Bowl. However... it seemed a bit much for her and she-- snrk-- fell asleep in her bowl, causing it to spill all over her and this blue-haired guy in a basketball uniform next to her and--”
“BAHAHAHAHAHA!” she couldn’t take it anymore and finally burst into laughter, “She--She said she refused to go back for a week, but... But-- She then asked me to go back-- haha-- the very next day! Oh, Chie! Hahahahaha!”

You do like birds don't you? Its perfect for you.
Yukiko was quiet for a moment before smiling slightly and admitting, “Well, I wouldn’t say perfect, but... I do like birds, so maybe it’s not too embarrassing...”
