already so not excited for the payneland debates re: platonic versus romantic relationships and the minute details of how these fictional characters identify. please please can we just accept that people are going to want different things and some people are inevitably going to be disappointed (if we even get a second season) and that’s really fine because ultimately it’s just a silly little television show?? if some people wanted a storyline to go one way it doesn’t mean they don’t appreciate canon or respect how you personally feel about canon. and the show doesn’t need to be the end all be all of representation and whatever happens it’s okay to just like. have fun and headcanon and not harp on other people’s ideas of what constitutes a worthwhile fictional relationship or whatever. i can already see people getting pissy in the tag and the show hasn’t even been out for a week. we have to be able to do better than this yall😭
not invested in romantic charles/crystal whatsoever but an arc exploration of them trying to be together before realizing and coming to terms with the fact that they have no legitimate future together because charles is dead and crystal is alive? baby. yes. i’m ready to cry. say more
edwin i understand you. if i had a ghost boy best friend who chose to stay with me instead of potentially staying in heaven for eternety after knowing me for a few hours and who LOOKED LIKE THAT i too would fall in love with him
Tashi having the most potential out of all of them with the drive and knowledge to be great but having to stop because of forces outside of her control. Patrick having so much potential in his younger years but was never able to coral his raw talent into greatness making him a washed up athlete. Art having the potential to be better but his confidence and lack of drive stops him from truly reaching his peak. And it’s crazy because art’s the only one fine with not being a tennis great, but he knows that kills Tashi which kills him.
