I currently have 43 books on request/hold at my local library - most for homeschooling my kids for the next two weeks - and how amazing is that? We check out roughly one hundred books a month. How much money have I saved this year??????? A little over $3200.

Got any good time travel fiction?

Ah, time travel! That's a fascinating genre. If you're looking for a popular read, I recommend The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. There's the 2009 film and the 2022 tv show adaptations, so you know it's pretty good!

If you're a Brontë fan, The Eyre Affair by Jasper Fforde will be right up your alley! And if you're more of a Hallmark person, One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston (who also wrote Red, White, and Royal Blue!) is definitely a good one.

And since Psi is the symbol of psychology, I would ultimately recommend Faye, Faraway by Helen Fisher. This one explores the psychology of the relationship between parents and their children, as well as time travel itself!

Of course, The Bible will always be the most important to me. But as for fiction, I reread Posession by A. S. Byatt at least twice a year--this thriller and exploration of romance and human nature never fails to engage me!
