hi. im here to announce that im not gonna be posting here anymore and im gonna try to slowly stopping keeping up with the qsmp (as much as hyperfixations let me). gonna let this blog as an archive for now, but im slowly gonna unfollow some qsmp blogs. if u still want to contact me u can ask for my discord and u can also follow my main anemosia. but yeah im leaving the qsmp fandom for good

•he hadn't seen all the tweets about the situation which led him to a distorted view of the accusations

•he did this live cause his previous statement was inappropriate

• he will sue people still

• he admits that the tweets could make him seem like a monster

• he gave further context; he was a smaller creator and it was a very close knitted community so he was friends with them, he was dumb and a "jokester"/prankster also a chronically online incel;

• he understands now that those jokes are inappropriate and regrets them, that there's a lot of people who actually suffer from them

•he apologised to the people that felt bad and/or triggered by those tweets

• he highlights that he never hurt anybody; there's no victims, just him saying stupid shit

•he is not the same person and has changed and is very grateful for being a better person

•asks people to not send hate to his team

•regular lives will be back on Monday

the way some people are overexaggerating abt the forever situation and spreading misinfo thru their lens is pissing me off its starting to become insufferable. might be off from tumblr for a while until the situation is resolved so i dont get stressed lol

before you cut someone off completely over a callout post, ask yourself a few questions

who is making the callout post?

why are they making it now?

who will it help? what harm will it rectify or prevent?

if there is a victim involved, has the victim spoken up? does the victim want to be involved? what would respecting the victim's trauma and story look like?

do you have the full context? if it's in a language you don't speak, do you trust your translators? hint: don't trust machine translators.

if the callout post is over an event more than a year old, does this establish a pattern of behavior? does it line up with the person's current behavior? could they have learned and grown since?

did they apologize for it already? are you sure? have you checked? what was the quality of that apology?

what would a solution that isn't dumping them in the garbage look like? how could you get to that solution?

do you have to act now? would it be more prudent to wait for more information to emerge?

lines that are rotating in my brain today.

lorewise it kills me how one is a message for the “dead” and the other is words intended for the living, one feels heartbreaking while the other feels heartwarming, they were beautifully delivered

but meta? I keep thinking about how these are two native english speakers who practiced the phrases, because they wanted to have their characters express their emotion during these specific lore scenes in the portugese language. that’s amazing to see

q!Bad and routines. he is very much a character who needs to have things be a certain way to give him a sense of comfort and stability

He will regularly check his and Dapper’s machines. he will see the eggs every day. he will visit the cemetery every month on the 3rd without fail to celebrate the eggs birthday. he will receive a flower every day from q!Forever. things are supposed to be this way, and so everything is alright. routines are predictable, the island is unpredictable, with routine his emotions can be more stable.

When something interrupts the routine? it deeply disrupts q!Bad emotionally, we’ve seen it- back when the eggs went missing it threw everything into a complete mess, he was so lost, entangled in chaos, grief and turmoil. he made new unhealthy and destructive routines. like visiting the soul vultures, visiting Ron, sitting alone at the birthday table every night… but the flower of the day ritual/routine also started then.

Now q!Forever is no longer here to give him a flower anymore. it had become so special to them, a symbol of their relationship & part of their each and everyday. he subconsciously seeks it during memory lapses. of course q!Bad must continue it somehow, he must hold on tightly to all remaining traces of q!Forever or he will fall apart with sadness. so he adjusted it, and leaves a new flower at the memorial daily until his sun returns

in this qsmp stream we saw how the island residents are placed as background characters of the main story.

i thought that seeing Foolish in a pov that was not his own was a great reminder that the characters we love are not necessarily the main characters.

they, in fact are just pawns of a bigger game, ppl stuck in an inescapable environment, casualties in war, and collateral damage.
