Naga! BakuDekuShoto X (fem)Mermaid!Reader
Part 2. Here
Y/n is warned to never go near the surface by her pod. She's been going near the surface every night and very early at dawn, sunrise to relax, sing, watch the sunset. Being a mermaid had its many blessing and curses. They were creatures of great beauty and magic, from their beautiful voices to the powerful magic in just a single tear. So naturally, they were secretive creatures.
A great lake deep in the forest of Atigus, a large pod of Merpeople lived in this lake. A lake so deep it could have been mistaken for the deepest part of the ocean. Living so far down in the deeps, they were a bit isolated from the many magical and grand creatures that also inhabit the forest.
Yet Y/n was a curious individual and would swim near the surface, in hopes of seeing another creature. Thought she was smart enough to know that there is one creature that she must avoid at all costs, Man. Yet She would brave the bright surface, and sing out to no one in particular.
One day as she ventured to the surface at sunset, she began to sing into the wind. As she rested on the lake's edge, she suddenly felt a painful sting on her shoulder. Y/n gasped in pain, but her body became so heavy suddenly and lost all control. As she laid there motionless, as she heard the snicker and the strange language of humans.
The humans quickly slumped the unconscious mermaid onto their backs and tried to find their way back to the village. Yet as they walked down the path, they could feel predatory eyes watching them.
As one of the humans looked around, they noticed that special markings were etched into the tree's around them.
"Oh no, we have walked into Naga territory," one of the humans gasped in horror.
As the two trembled, a large shadow engulfed them. The tallest stood up to 9 feet in height, standing above them, while the shortest stood 7 feet. They couldn't begin to fathom how long these nagas could be. These giants glared down at the small humans that had invaded their territory.
Dealing with the humans was simple, yet something did catch one of their eyes. The smaller green naga noticed the abandoned creature on the ground.
"What is that?" The freckled naga wondered.
"It looks like to be a humanoid creature like us," a red and white naga commented as he leaned over the mermaid.
"Yet, it's not. Its scales look strange and its tail is so short, it's the same size as those pathetic humans," The ashy blond Naga scoffed as he picked the mer by her tail.
"K-kacchan! Careful," the green-haired naga gasped.
"Why does it look like part fish?" The red and white naga asked, " You should be careful, Bakugo."
"Whatever, Deku," Bakugo scoffed, as he tossed the body over to green Naga.
"Nice catch Midoriya," The red and white naga commented.
"Thanks, Shoto," Izuku sighed as he got a closer look at the creature.
"So what do you think it is?" Shoto asked.
" It must be some water-faring creature, other than that I'm not sure," Izuku said as he held the mermaid close. " It would be nice to speak to her about it. Maybe I could hold onto her, F-for a  little while."
"Why?" Shoto asked.
"Probably cause this will be the only female that can't walk out on him for better a mate," Bakugo commented.
"I think you may be projecting a little, Bakugo," Shoto commented.
Bakugo scoffed and slithered off somewhere else, as Izuku and Shoto stood in awkward silence.
"S-so does that mean I can? N-Not for the reason that he said!" Izuku said quickly.
"I'd... Certainly hope not," Shoto said simply.
_________________________
As Y/n slowly came to her senses, she could feel something odd. As she slowly opened her eyes, she noticed that this body of water was barely deep. Plus something was wrapped around her, it felt strange.
She slowly opened her eyes, to see that the surface of the water was just a foot above her head. And wrapped around her waist was a tail, a snake tail. Y/n tensed slightly, but the creature felt her movement and quickly tightened its hold.
She was suddenly pulled up above the surface and was face to face with a freckly face with forest green eyes.  His eyes were full of wonder and curiosity as he inspected Y/n very closely.
Y/n wanted to scream, yet remained frozen. Not only was she unsure of this creature, but also intimidated by its great size. She never felt so small and helpless.
"what are you? And who are you?" Deku asked as he muttered other questions.
"A-a mermaid, my name is Y/n," Y/n squeaked nervesly.
"Ah, like an Oceanid," Izuku smiled." I-i have to write this down, I have so many questions."
As his tail wraps more around Y/n, she watches as the snake man turns to gather his parchment paper. They were covered in writings and notes about almost anything. Before Y/n could get a grasp of what was happening, she was drowned in the naga's curious questions. He must have not been paying too much attention as he tightened his hold.
"C-can't...Breath," Y/n whimpered as she passed out.
------------- Deku suddenly felt Y/n go slack, he stopped rambling and quickly looked at her.
"AHh! Y/n," Izuku gasped as he quickly placed her back in the small watering hole.
"Oi, killed it already," Bakugo laughed mockingly.
"N-no, Y/n passed out," Izuku said nervesly.
"So what is she?" Shoto asked as he tried to get a better look.
"An Oceanid, but she calls herself a mermaid," Izuku said as he put down his notes.
"Hmm, well what were those humans doing with one?" Shoto asked.
"Probably harvest her for magical properties. If they can't possess magic on their own, then they will take it," Bakugo scoffed simply.
"Well, I'm glad we came across those humans then," Izuku said with a relieved sigh.
___________
After a couple of weeks, Y/n grew used to Izuku and his curiosity. She would learn many things about him, that he was defiantly a curious Naga and a very emotional one. Will cry a river at any strong emotion he feels. Y/n could only hope that this small pool of water was not his tears. She would learn a bit about his other two companions.
Bakugo is the most prideful and skilled of the three. Always going off how he will be the best and rise the ranks among their kind. Shoto on the other hand seemed very calm out of the three. Almost to the point where he seemed indifferent about everything, though he takes everything very seriously.
Izuku would also learn a lot about her and her home in the great lake. How they knew many great magical treasures and plants within Atigus. It was just so fascinating to him, and it felt so nice to have someone discuss the magical phenomena with him.
As Y/n rested in Izuku's coils, a question came to mind.
"Hey Izuku, you've been so sad as of late. What is making you so sad?" Y/n asked.
"Um, it's a little embarring to talk about, but... The season of union is coming to an end soon. And during this time Nagas begin to pair and bond, and we bond for life. Sadly a girl I had my heart set in already bonded with someone else. So I may just end up being unpair," Izuku explained.
"What about Bakugo and Shoto?" Y/n asked.
"Well, most are annoyed or frightened by him, and would rather stay far away from him. And Shoto, has a bit of a hard time, umm, connecting to others," Izuku said slowly and awkwardly.
"Oh, well I'm sorry to hear that. I can't see why you would not find someone. Your sweet and so kind," Y/n smiled as she rested her harms on his coils.
Izuku's face turned a bright red as his tail tightened slightly. His heart fluttered in his chest as he stared down at his Oceanid friend.
"Y-you really think so?" Izuku mumbled, as his eyes watered.
"Despite your timid nature, you are willing to help though in need. Even if they may not deserve it," Y/n smiled up at him.
"Thank You Y/n," Izuku thanked as he cried waterfalls as hugged Y/n closely.
"Though you can be a bit of a cry baby," Y/n winced as she was drenched in tears.
But he didn't hear the last comment as he hugged her close.
----------------
"Shouldn't you be returning Y/n to the great lake, Surely she would like to return to her home and family," Izuku's friend Iida asked.
As the two patrolled the large Naga territory. Izuku's heart began to thump in his chest in a panic at the thought. The thought had many times came across his mind, but the thought of parting with her. Tore his heart apart.
-----------------
"Oh, you're still here?" Shoto asked as he entered the cave.
"Umm, have been for this past Month Shoto," Y/n said as she poked her head above the water.
"Izuku must hold you dearly if he hasn't returned you home yet," Shoto said as he found a comfy spot and laid down.
"Y-you think so?" Y/n asked nervesly.
"Hmm, don't you miss your family? I'm surprised you haven't asked him to return you," Shoto commented.
As Y/n studied him, she could feel something about those words. Like it wasn't just meant for you to answer.
"Are Nagas not close to their parents?" Y/n asked.
"Um, not all, but most," He said with a slightly sad look.
"What about you, if it's not too personal?" Y/n asked.
Shoto stayed silent for a time, as he slowly touched the burn on his face. " I could care less what my father is up to, but I... I do wonder how my mother is doing after she ran away from me and my dad," Shoto said sadly.
"W-why would she do that?" Y/n gasped.
"She said my left side and red scales looked too much like my horrible father. She burned the left side of my face and ran," Shoto answered as he covered his scar. " I was too horrible for her to look at."
Y/n frowned sadly at his story and pulled herself up onto the dry ground. She slowly approached Shoto's tail as she awed at his lovely scales.
"Your white scales shine like pearls, and the red ones look like rubies, your so lovely, Shoto," Y/n said in a soft tone.
Shivers ran up his spine as he felt the warm fingers slide across his scales. His heart pounded in his chest as he slowly coiled his tail around her.
"Y-you couldn't possibly mean that," Shoto said slowly.
"Of course I do. You know if you smiled more, maybe the ladies or gentlemen would flock to you," Y/n smiled.
"Flock? Like... Birds?" Shoto asked, really confused.
"No silly, I mean many would find you more approachable," Y/n laughed.
Her laugh was so small and cute, he could help but tighten his hold on her. He could feel her warmth on his scales as he slowly leaned in closer to her.
"If you're doing what I think you're doing, then you two are disgusting," Said a voice.
The two quickly turned to see Bakugo, who came back from a hunting outing. A large boar was slung over his shoulder as he entered the cave.
"Find a different part of the cave to suck each other's face," Katsuki grumbled.
"Why would we do that?" Shoto asked with pure confusion.
"Cause It's decent," Bakugo growled.
"No, why would we suck each other's faces?" Shoto asked again.
"I'm done with you," Bakugo scoffed.
_____________
Shoto and Izuku had to eventually leave to do a final scout turn, leaving Bakugo and Y/n. Bakugo had no interest in talking to the mermaid and did his own thing, by cooking the boar he caught. Y/n with nothing to do hummed to herself, her voice echoing off the walls of the cave.
"So you were the source of that voice," Bakugo said suddenly.
"Ummm... I was right next to you. How did you not know until now?" Y/n asked with a deadpanned look.
"No, every time around sunset I could hear something in the wind. A voice, singing," Bakugo said simply.
"Oh, I thought I was just singing to myself," Y/n said bashfully.
"More like to the whole forest," Bakugo huffed.
"Was I okay?" Yn asked slowly.
"You were definitely better than those harpies who think they can sing," Bakugo scoffed, turning away to hide his red ears.
"That is so sweet of you to say," Y/n said, slightly touched.
"Tch. Well, I don't really care for the noise of rain, you can keep doing what you were doing," Bakugo said slowly.
Y/n smiled at the tsundere naga and continued her song.
_________________
(3 weeks later)
Y/n and the three nagas grew closer and closer during the 3 weeks. The season of Union was quickly coming to a close, but tensions were high among the three males.
One morning, Shoto had his tail wrapped protectively around Y/n's sleeping form when he heard a soft but challenging hiss. Looking up sightly he could see it was Izuku. Izuku's usual large round pupils were now slits, as his serpentine tongue flicked between his lips.
"Yes, Izuku?" Shoto asked coldly.
"Your turn to patrol soon, maybe you should let her go now," Izuku said as nicely as possible, as he slowly inched closer.
Shoto tensed as Izuku slowly got closer. Shoto's pupils quickly turned to slits as he hissed back. Y/n was unable to sleep through the loud noises coming from the two.
"What's with all the noise," Y/n groaned sleepily, as she untangled herself from Shoto's coils.
"Would you shut it you two," Bakugo growled, as he pulled Y/n's sleepy form closer to him.
"B-bakugo, careful," Izuku hissed.
"I am," Bakugo said simply.
"Don't you both have someplace to be?" Izuku said with a slight hiss.
"W-what are you all fighting about?" Y/n asked, slightly more awake.

Vampire Reader x Todoroki Shoto
Tumblr media
Cw: Reader feeding on Shoto, technically aphrodisiacs due to vampires' bite, Shoto getting fingered and overstimulation and um him getting kidnapped at the end, yeah.
Tw: Dubcon
Word count: 600+ soooorry ahsjsshs
Tumblr media
Todoroki was unnerved. He was pretty sure he's getting followed and that a pair of eyes are following his every move.
He cursed in his mind. His house was still pretty far and there isn't any public transportation around. His phone died earlier too so he couldn't call anyone.
Seeing the street go to a corner, he kept one eye behind him to spot his stalker. He felt the gaze leave him and he relaxed.
But he shouldn't have let his guard down.
Suddenly he collided into you. He was about to apologize when you suddenly dragged him to a nearby alley.
You pinned him to the wall, and his body tensed, recognizing that you were the one who was behind him earlier. He glared, about to shout, only for his eyes to fell on your fangs.
Vampire, his mind supplied.
"Let me go." His voice shook with fear.
Dangerous. Extremely dangerous. He's so stupid. How did he forgot that vampires were roaming tonight? That was why Fuyumi warned him to come home early!
"I don't think so, little one." You flashed your fangs, getting into his personal space. Nose on his neck, you took a whiff of his scent. As you expected, fear and nervousness.
You chuckled. You could hear his frenzied heartbeat, and you smirked, licking his adam's apple, making him shiver.
But enough of teasing. You've waited long enough and you are not a patient vampire.
A low groan came out of Todoroki's throat as your fangs pierced his skin, drawing blood. You started to suck it, making Todoroki light headed by the second.
He's so dizzy by the time you pulled away and hard as rock due to the aphrodisiac effect vampires produce when biting humans. He heard you chuckle in his ear, moaning as your fingers easily entered his hole.
"Such a pretty little thing, aren't you?"
His mind flashed a thought on how you got him out of his clothes so fast, only for it to disappear as your fingers crooked inside him, easily finding his prostate.
He bucked his hips desperately, drooling at the corner of his mouth as you hit his spot precisely, coming in seconds.
Yet you continued, too amused of your pretty little prey that you got in your lap. You don't usually play with your food– preferring to just suck their blood then leave immediately– but you'll make an exception this time.
Your tongue licked his ear, a whine coming out of him as you cooed. "Aww, that's a good boy. You like this? Look at you sweetheart, you were so afraid earlier and now you love this."
Did he love this? He doesn't know but it felt way too good to stop.
"Aah~" he moaned loudly as he came for the second time, tears in the corner of his eyes as you continued your assault.
His cock twitched in pain, as if not knowing if it should remain hard or get soft due to the pain and pleasure coursing through him.
Lips crashed on his and a tongue easily entered his mouth. He shivered as your tongue curled on his, easily dominating his and making his knees buckle.
He panted as you pulled away, head resting on the crook of your neck as you kept on fingering him. His legs started to shake due to the overstimulation, whimpers coming out of him.
Before he could fall, you caught him by his waist, making him wrap his legs around your leg. His head lolled to the side, fatigue taking over and making him black out.
You cooed, kissing the tip of his hair. "I'd hate to leave you out here alone cutie. Maybe I should take you home with me and be my pet."
You smirked before going on the direction of your home.

Strange New World (Complete)
A/N: This is the complete story of Strange New World. I began to edit it as I finished the story up, and decided to just take down the separate parts and upload it as one whole story.
Female Reader
The grass around me swayed as a gentle breeze passed by. “How did I get here?” I constantly questioned myself, going over the events of the previous night. I had simply gone to bed at the same time as usual, but something unknowingly happened to me. At some point during the night I went from sleeping in my bed to laying in the middle of a meadow.
I thought that it was a dream at first, until I registered pain in my ankle. “How did that happen?” There was a big bruise that wrapped around my whole ankle. “Did I sprain it? How could I have unknowingly sprained my ankle?” Nothing seemed to make sense, not even the twisted trees that were covered in gold.
I could see everything in front of me for miles, but not one building was in sight. “This is way too weird.” I felt a heavy coat of stress from the situation hanging over me. Nothing looked familiar at all, so all thoughts of me sleepwalking went straight out of the door. The only thing I knew was that I couldn’t stay in one place forever, but I also wouldn’t make it far on my ankle.
Pushing myself through the pain, I forced myself to walk. I made sure to stop and look around for any sign of civilization nearby, but still found nothing. Unfortunately, I had no knowledge on how to survive on my own out in the wilderness, so I was pretty much doomed. At some point, I kind of just gave up and sat back down on the ground.
Before I knew it, tears began streaming down my face from the stress of the situation, and the pain in my ankle. “What am I supposed to do?” I continued crying for quite some time that I didn’t notice that the sun was beginning to set. I didn’t even hear the sound of footsteps approaching me.
“Are you ok?” I got startled by the sudden voice to the left of me. I looked over to see a man with red spiky hair and red eyes, but the things that caught my attention were the horns on his head and wings on his back. “W---What are you?” I asked him. “What do you mean? I’m a dragon of course.” He responded.
“That’s---This isn’t possible…” I said. “Well, I am standing here in front of you though.” He reasoned. “Anyways, what’s a cute thing like you doing all the way out here?” “I don’t know. I don’t even know where ‘here’ is.” “Did you hit your head or something?” “No, I just woke up and I was here. My ankle is injured though.” “ How about you come with me? I promise that you’ll be safe with me.”
It was obvious that going with him was the right decision, so I did just that. He continued to lead me along, keeping his pace slower to match mine. “Woah! Looks like you’re limping pretty bad.” He said. “Here, let me carry you the rest of the way.” He picked me up with no effort at all. “My name’s Kirishima by the way.” “Y/N” “It won’t be much longer until we reach the cave. Just a warning, there are others there, but just a few.”
Soon enough, we entered a forest and I could see some mountains close by. “Is that where we’re going?” I asked. “Yep! I told you it wouldn't take long.” He responded. The mountain was pretty big, and at the base of it was the opening to a cave. I kept my eye out to see if I could see any of the other ‘people’ Kirishima had mentioned.
“KIRI!” someone shouted from close by. I saw a flash of yellow coming towards us to which Kirishima held out his hand to stop it. When he did, I noticed that it was a man with blonde hair and what looked to be wolf ears sticking out from the top of his head. “What’s that?” They asked, looking at me. “This is Y/N. Y/N this is Denki.” Kirishima introduced us. “I found her lost in the open meadows.” “I’ve never seen any Folk like her before. She is cute though.”
Kirishima brought me into the cave, which had torches all around to provide light. Denki piled up blankets for me to sit in. “Do either of you know how to treat a sprained ankle?” I asked them. “No, but Todoroki might. He’s the most knowledgeable about those things, I’ll go see if I can find him.” Denki said as he went off further into the cave.
After a couple of minutes, I heard the sound of something slithering across the floor of the cave, causing me to look over to where Denki had disappeared. I saw a man who was half snake, with red and white hair, and heterochromatic eyes. “So, you must be Y/N?” He asked me and I nodded in response. “Let me take a look at your ankle. I promise to be as gentle as I can.”
His hands around my ankle felt strange as one was cold and the other other was warm. “I’ll cool it down to help with the pain, but I’ll put some healing salve on it as well.” Todoroki said. “You won’t be able to walk on it for a few days while it heals.” He went towards a shelf and got a container of some salve. He put it all around my ankle, and at the same time I felt my skin there become really cold.
“What are you all doing in the corner?” A gruff voice said. A man with blonde hair walked into the cave. “What is that thing?” “This adorable ‘thing’ is Y/N” Denki said. “Can we keep her Bakugo. Please.” “Tch..as long as she doesn’t get in my way.” I became a little nervous under his intense stare. “Don’t worry, he looks scary but cares a lot more than he likes to show.” Kirishima told me. “He’ll warm up to you in no time.”
I took a bit of a nap, but it was mostly just resting my eyes, since I started to feel a little tired. “I still don’t know anything about this place.” I thought, after I started to feel more awake. “I could be in another dimension, or world. I’ll ask Kirishima if he can explain where this is.” It didn’t take long until Kirishima made an appearance.
“Did you have a nice nap?” He asked me. “Yeah.” I responded. “I wanted to know, will you tell me about this place?” “You really have no idea where you are, do you?” “No. I’m pretty sure I’m in a different world altogether though.” “I’m sure there’s some reason as to why you’re here. I’ll gladly tell you everything I know.”
“There are different Folk here, which are either in tribes, villages, or kingdoms. There are the Dragon, Serpent, Wolf, Barbarian, Magic Folk, Elven Folk, Fairy Folk, and many others. I grew up with Bakugo since the Dragon and Barbarian Folk are close with each other. We then met Denki and Todoroki along the way. The Serpent Folk usually keep to themselves and don’t get along with the other Folk, but Todoroki is definitely different from the rest of his kind. Denki unfortunately lost most of his tribe when the Magic Folk attacked them. The magic Folk have been causing chaos amongst all of the other Folk for centuries now.”
“There’s magic here?” I asked him. “Yep, we Dragon Folk know some magic ourselves. I could show you some things if you want?” “Really? I mean, you’ve already done so much for me.” “Of course! I know things must be difficult for you to be in a strange place with no one. I don’t even know what I would do in your situation, but I can tell that you’re a really strong person. If you need anything, I’ll always be here to help.”
“Food’s Done!” Bakugo shouted. Kirishima carried me to where everyone else had gathered to eat. “Here.” Denki said as he gave me a plate. I grabbed some of the meat and tried it. “This is really good.” I said, looking towards Bakugo. “Whatever….” I saw the slightest blush cover his cheeks for a second.
“Keep Your Hands Off From My Plate!” Bakugo yelled at Denki. “But I’m still hungry and their wasn’t enough meat.” Denki whined in response. “Then You Make The Damn Food Next Time!” I smiled throughout the whole meal at their antics. “Looks like I’ll never be bored around here.” I thought. “At least things won’t be too bad here, but will I ever be able to get back home?”
“Is your ankle feeling any better?” Todoroki, who was sitting next to me, asked. “It does. I’m amazed that the bruising has gone down in such a short amount of time.” I responded. “If it starts to bother you again just let me know. I can cool it down to numb the pain again.”
By the time I finished all of my food, I began to feel sleepy again. My body started leaning until I felt myself against Todoroki. “Sorry, I’m starting to get tired.” I told him. “It’s fine. You can go to sleep.” He responded. I felt his tail wrap around me, giving me more support as I let myself fall asleep. “Will I be back home when I wake up in the morning?” I wondered as my consciousness left me.
Weeks passed and I was still stuck in this strange world of Monster Folk. “Did you get everything?” Kirishima asked me. “I think so.” I responded. “Then, let’s go meet the others.” The four Folk, Todoroki, Kirishima, Bakugo, and Denki, decided that we would go on a journey to find a way for me to get back to my world.
“We’re going to the ruins.” Todoroki told everyone. “Why there?” Denki asked. “I read that when this world was created some gates were made that connected all of the worlds together. When the mages started stirring up trouble they destroyed them so the Folk they were after couldn’t escape, creating the ruins. We have to be careful, since the mages lurk around the area from time to time.”
After two long days of traveling, we finally came across the desert where the ruins were located. “We’re almost there. Everyone stay on guard.” Bakugo said. “Kiri, I want you to stay by Y/N in case we run into any trouble.” “Got it.” Kirishima responded. “I did teach her some magic so that should help as well.”
I had learned a few protection and attack spells from Kirishima. He even created a link between us so that if I ever got into trouble I could use some of his own magic if needed. “You still remember the shield spell?” Kirishima asked. “I do.” I responded. “Good. I want you to use it first thing if we get attacked. I’m going to put a heat resistant spell on you now so that the heat from the desert doesn’t bother you.”
We looked around all of the collapsed columns and gateways. “What exactly are we looking for?” I asked Todoroki. “We need to find the relic stones that were put on the gateways.” He responded. “They were used to power them, so if we find them we can make our own. Although I will have to do some research on what worlds each stone opens up to.”
After a while, I had not found any relic stones, and neither did the others. “Who’s there?” A voice asked out of nowhere, making me jump. “Mina?” I heard Kirishima ask. A girl with pink skin and similar features to Kirishima appeared. “What are you doing all the way out here Kiri?” She asked. “We’re looking for the relic stones of the gateways.”
We had a quick conversation with Mina to explain my situation of being stuck in this world. “Sorry to tell you this, but the mages destroyed all of the stones.” She said. “Seriously?” I responded, losing hope. “Don’t worry though, I’m actually here to figure out how the gateways were set up here. The Dragon Folk and Barbarians have decided to try to recreate the gates to connect the worlds again. I’m surprised you didn’t know this Bakugo.”
“I guess we’ll have to travel back home, Kiri.” Bakugo said. “We are due for a visit.” Kirishima responded. “Your mom is probably upset that you haven’t had any contact with her.” “I have more important things to worry about than that old hag.” I decided to go ahead and help Mina with drawing up some layouts as the two bantered with each other.
“I think we have everything drawn up correctly.” I told the others. “Good, I don’t think I can spend too much longer here in this wasteland.” Denki complained. Kirishima carried most of the stuff as we left the dessert. This time our destination was to the Dragon and Barbarian kingdom.
“You haven’t talked very much about where you come from.'' I told Kirishima and Bakugo. “I guess we haven’t.” Kirishima said. “For starters, it’s technically a kingdom. Bakugo here is next in line to be our ruler.” “Really?” “Of Course!” Bakugo responded. “Then, why aren’t you there?” “I had something important I needed to find.” “Wait ‘had’? Don’t tell me..” Kirishima asked him. “Not now Kiri…”
The kingdom of the Barbarians and Dragon Folk was the most magical thing I had seen so far. “Are those fairies?” I asked, pointing to tiny people that flew around us. “They sure are.” Denki responded. “There pretty much all over the world, but stay hidden. They only feel safe to show themselves in this kingdom, because of the Dragon Folk.”
The kingdom was forestry with most of the buildings in the trees. There was a mountain that had a waterfall running down it and into a river that went through the middle of the kingdom. There were a ton of flower beds that the fairies swarmed around. Then, what looked to be a castle was in the very middle of the land.
“You Little….” I heard followed by a smack. I looked over to see an older woman scolding Bakugo. “Not a single word from you….” “Is that his mom?” I asked Mina. “Yeah. I knew this was going to happen.” She responded. Denki was laughing at the scene. “How the tables turn.”
“Who is that?” Bakugo’s mom turned to me. “I’m Y/N.” I introduced myself. “Nice to meet you. I’m Mitsuki, this idiot’s mother. What brings you all here anyways?” “I was trying to tell you that when you hit me HAG!” Bakugo shouted, earning him another hit. “Y/N here has somehow ended up in our world, so we’re trying to help her find out how to get back home.” Kirishima responded.
After discussing everything, I found myself exploring around the castle. “Y/N…” I heard Bakugo call out to me. “Yes?” I responded. “Can I talk to you for a bit?” “Sure.” He walked me out into a garden that was behind the castle. I was a little worried about what he wanted to say, with the serious expression that he had.
“Is something wrong?” I asked him. “No, it’s not anything like that.” he responded. “I...uh...I just wanted to ask if you were doing all right.” “It’s weird since I haven’t been as worried as I thought I’d be. Being around you all has really helped me cope with being here. The only thing I’m worried about is my family.” “I just don’t want to get your hopes up about getting home, then ending up having to stay here.” “With all of you, I think I will be just fine.”
The sun began to set over the kingdom, the darkness of night following behind. I don’t know how long I spent talking to Bakugo, but I felt relieved to say some of my worries out loud. “We should head back inside.” He said. As I stood up I noticed something out of the corner of my eye. “Did you see that?” I asked him. “See what?” “I think something’s here.” “Then, let’s hurry inside. Stay right beside me.”
Before I could move, a golden light enveloped me. “Y/N!” Bakugo reached out towards me, and I reached to grab his hand in return. The light grew brighter, then it disappeared taking me with it. Bakugo fell to the ground in the spot where I had just been, while I found myself full enveloped in the light.
I felt weightless, like I was floating on some clouds. “Wake up child.” I heard a woman’s voice call out to me. My eyes slowly opened and I found myself staring at a woman with brown hair and golden eyes. “Who are you?” I asked her. “I am Ariandell, the Goddess who created the world you currently find yourself in. Follow me, we have a lot to talk about.”
I followed her through a door that led to a garden, then sat down at a small table. “Can you help me get home?” I asked her. “I can help you get back to your world, but first I need to tell you something important.” Ariandell responded. “I’ve been watching you for quite some time. The mages were the ones who summoned you here, and, at the same time, they placed a curse on you. No one that you know from earth knows of your existence. You have been completely wiped from their memory.”
“Is there any way to undo it?” I asked her. “Unfortunately the curse is set in stone.” “Why me…?” “You hold the blessing of the Goddess Aluthia, my sister. She chose you to help save this world, but in doing so made you a target to the mages. There’s more to the curse though. You yourself will be wiped from existence in one month’s time.”
“Is there any way to stop it from happening?” “Yes, you need to create a bond with one, or a few, of the Folk. This will give you their power and eternal life, so that you may keep on existing in this world.” “How do I do that?” “Just follow your heart. You’ve already met a group of Folk who have welcomed you. I put my faith in you just like my sister and give you my blessing. Please save this world.”
The world around me started to darken. “Wait…” I tried to call out to Ariandell, but she had already been shrouded in the darkness, just like the rest of the world. Then, in the blink of an eye, I was back in the garden where I had last talked to Bakugo. My limbs felt strangely heavy, and my mind was hazy as I let myself collapse onto the ground.
“Y/N!” I had heard someone shout my name. I didn’t respond, but I heard as someone made their way towards me. “Where did you go?” Denki asked me as he sat me up. “We were all so worried.” “I don’t know.” I responded as he sat me up. “But I talked to… Ariandell.” “The Goddess?” “That’s what she told me.” “You can talk about everything later. Let’s get you back inside before you freeze out here.”
I was placed in a room with a fireplace. “Thank the Goddess you’re ok.” Kirishima said as he entered the room. He sat down next to me, with Bakugo, and Todoroki entering the room soon after. “What happened?” Bakugo asked. “Denki said that you talked with Ariandell. What did she tell you?” He had a slightly panicked look on his face.
“She explained how I got here.” I started. “It was the mages. They summoned me here and cursed me for being blessed by Aluthia . No one that I know on earth remembers me and I’m going to vanish from existence completely in one months time.” “We won’t let that happen.” Denki said. “So, you must be the savior that Aluthia chose?” Todoroki questioned. “That's what I was told” I responded.
“Is there any way to stop the curse from making you disappear completely?” Bakugo asked me. “Ariandell said something about making a bond.” I responded. “What exactly does that mean though?” “It’s a sacred practice among us Folk.” Kirishima told me. “We choose someone we want to spend our existence with and make our souls bound to one another for our entire existence.”
“We’ll talk more in the morning, for now you need to get some rest after everything that has happened.” Bakugo said. “We’ll have to start making plans too.” “Making plans for what?” Denki asked him. “I doubt we’ll have a smooth ride from here on out. The mages will do everything they can to make sure Y/N doesn’t have the chance to stop them. We’ll probably have to go to war.” “They have been waiting for the chance for one, so this might be just the excuse they need.” Todoroki commented.
“Can you tell me more about bonds?” I asked Bakugo as we walked towards a conference room. “Folk live for a very long time.” He started. “When you create a bond with another, your life becomes theirs and vice versa. When folk pass away, their souls aren’t destroyed, so they are able to be reborn, along with their bonded.”
“So Folk have eternal life then?” I asked him. “Not quite. It takes a lot, but their souls can be destroyed. It’s more like it just gets broken up though. Then, the pieces help form the souls of new Folk. In a way, our ancestors do live eternally through us.” “That’s a beautiful life cycle.” I thought.
It had been a few days since preparations had started in case of a war with the mages. There had been conferences every day that Bakugo led. Kirishima helped me practice magic, and Denki trained with the other guards. Todoroki had been instructed by Bakugo to guard me, so he followed me around the kingdom.
“Even though I’ve been here for quite some time now, this world still amazes me everyday.” I said. “It is a pretty big world.” Todoroki replied. “There are still places I haven’t seen.” “Do you think we can do some traveling once everything is over?” “I’m sure we can. Kirishima and Bakugo have talked a lot about heading north to visit some Folk. Actually, now that I think about it, there should be some arriving here shortly to help us out.”
“Which ones?” “Some Elven Folk.” It was good to know that there were other Folk willing to help out. “How about we get something to eat now, before it gets too late?” I suggested. “Sounds good.” The sun was just beginning to set, so it was almost time to head back to the castle.
“What did you two do today?” Denki asked me as we entered the castle. “Not much.” I responded. “Do you want to play a game then?” “Sure. What kind of game?” “It’s a card game, and it’s not too difficult. I’ll teach you how to play it. Come on.”
We walked into the room I had been staying in, and Denki placed some cards down on the table. After he explained the rules, I realized that the game was just like Uno. “Ready to play?” Denki asked me. “Yep. The rules are very similar to a game from my world.” I responded, making the first move. “This is my favorite game to play. I usually play with Kirishima, but sometimes Bakugo joins in.” He made the next move.
After taking turns and talking for some time, I laid down my last card. “Dang…” Denki said. “I thought I was going to win.” “We can play again.” I offered. The door to the room opened as Kirishima, Bakugo, and Todoroki walked in. “Can I join?” Kirishima asked, sitting next to me.” “How about we all play.” I suggested. The other two joined us, and it became a group game night.
“Man, I'm so tired.” Denki complained as he laid down. I started to pet his head, making his tail wag. “Y/N, we need you to be at the conference tomorrow.” Bakugo said. “Is something wrong?” I asked. “No. The Folk coming to aid us would like to meet with you. You are the savior Aluthia chose, so they are excited to meet you.”
“Has anything happened with the mages?” I asked him. “They have become active in the last couple of days, but it’s unknown what they’re trying to do. A couple were spotted not too far from the kingdom, so I want you to stay in the castle, unless you absolutely need to leave.” “I’ll be joining Todoroki in guarding you.” Kirishima said. “I also want to start teaching you some basic combat.” Bakugo added.
“Denki, we’ll need you to deliver a message to someone.” Bakugo told Denki. “When?” Denki asked in response. “Tomorrow. It’s only to the edge of the Fairy Lands.” “Alright….Fine. But you have to make me some meat in return.” Denki quickly left the room, without waiting for Bakugo’s response. Todoroki and Kirishima bid me goodnight as they too made their exit.
“If you don’t want to do combat training you don’t have to.” Bakugo said. “It’s fine. I think it’s actually a good idea.” I told him. “I’ll need to be able to protect myself better, especially if we go to war with the mages.” “I admire your spirit Y/N! Alright, we’ll start tomorrow then. If you get overwhelmed just let me know.” I nodded. “I’ll see you tomorrow then.”
After Bakugo left, I sat on the bench next to the window in my room, gazing up at the night sky. This world was so different, but at least the sky was the same. The only difference being the size of the moon as it was bigger. “Any day now I could be made to fight.” I thought. “It’s scary, but I’ll do what I need to in order to survive. Even though everyone has forgotten about me on Earth, I hope that one day I can go back to at least see them.”
It was around noon by the time Bakugo and I finished up with training. “Your stance is good.” He told me. “You should be able to defend yourself just fine. Don’t worry about offense and just avoid any attacks.” “I didn’t know you had some tricks up your sleeves.” I said. “I can only make explosions though.”
“Your Highness.” A guard quickly entered the room. “The mages have made their move.” “Y/N, go find Kirishima in the main hall.” Bakugo led me out of the room. I wasted no time in following his instructions. We had gone over plans over and over again that whole morning in case of an attack.
“Y/N, this way quickly.” Kirishima ushered me towards the staircase. “Remember the plan?” “Yes.” I told him. “We are going to be positioned behind all of the fighters. If anything goes wrong I have the Elven whistle to call for help.” “Good. Take a deep breath in and out whenever you feel overwhelmed or scared.”
It was complete chaos for as far as I could see. There weren’t as many mages as I had expected, but they were still very powerful by being able to summon creatures. I kept my defensive stance up and put a barrier around myself. So far only a couple of the creatures had tried to attack me.
“Look who it is.” A mage approached me. “Aluthia’s savior.” I quickly enforced my barrier. “We were expecting someone a little more….strong.” “What do you even want with me?” I asked him. “We want control of this world, but as long as you exist that won’t happen. It’s good you haven’t found out the truth, otherwise this would be more difficult.”
With a flick of his wrist I saw the barrier around me shatter. “W-what.” I was completely surprised. “Now it’s time for you to disappear.” The mage had cast a magic circle that surrounded me, trapping me in a pocket of darkness. I couldn’t see anything, and everything was silent.
I took a step forward and my memories began to flash all around me. “What’s happening?” I thought as I looked around. In the distance I made out a door with a lock on it. My chest felt heavy as though something was crushing me and I couldn’t hold back my screams. I looked at my arms and could vaguely make out that my hands were covered in some of the darkness.
I could hear the voices of my family all around me, causing tears to stream down my face from my helplessness. “I don’t want to give up, but what can I do?” I questioned myself. “Please…..Aluthia…..tell me what to do.” I pulled at the lock on the door in an attempt to have anything happen. “Please….”
The darkness had covered me from my feet to my shoulders. “Use your heart…” I heard someone call out to me. “My…heart?” I closed my eyes and pictured the faces of my family, friends, and all of the Folk that I had met in this world. The most vivid were Bakugo, Todoroki, Denki, and Kirishima. In the short amount of time that I had known the four they had shown me nothing but kindness. They made my heart continue to beat in the troubled times I found myself in.
“Y/N!” Kirishima yelled as he watched her get enveloped by a vast darkness. He took out the creatures surrounding him with his newfound rage. “Kiri what’s going on?” Bakugo asked as he made his way to the last mage standing, who stood by a giant sphere of darkness. “He trapped Y/N in there.”
“Let Her Out You Bastard!!” Bakugo held the mage up in the air by his neck. “It’s too late. The darkness is already consuming her soul.” The mage mocked him in return. “What do we do now?” Denki asked, his ears drooping. “Go get Todoroki. He might know what to do.” Kirishima told him.
Every minute that passed felt like a whole lifetime. “Unfortunately, there’s nothing we can do while she’s trapped in that sphere.” Todoroki told the other three, after he inspected it. “What are you going to do now that your little savior is gone?” The mage taunted them, receiving an explosion to the face. “I’m Going To Kill You!” Bakugo began attacking the mage.
“Let’s see how strong you really are.” The mage said as his body began to transform. “A demon?” Kirishima was surprised. “Never heard of them.” Denki commented. “They’re destroyers of worlds.” Todoroki told him. “It explains why the mages were so obsessed with taking control of the world. He must have been controlling them this entire time.”
“Let’s Get Him!” Bakugo made the first move in attacking. The others followed, with the guards helping as well, but most of them were defeated in no time. “Get Behind Me!” Kirishima said as he casted a magic shield to protect them from the Demon hitting them. “I can’t hold this for much longer.” Cracks began to form in the shield.
“Looks like this is it…” Denki said. “I just want you all to know that I love you guys.” “Would you shut up!” Bakugo scolded him. “I’m not letting any of us die, you hear me.” Kirishima put all of his mgic into the shield, but it would only last for half a minute longer.
“Look there.” Todoroki pointed to the sphere that had Y/N trapped in it. A light was beginning to shine through and continued to get brighter. The demon’s attention shifted towards it and he started to attack it, but the light fended off his attacks. The darkness disappeared completely, and as the light died down, Y/N stood in its place.
My body felt completely weightless. My eyes opened to see that I was on the outside of the sphere, but my body was still covered in darkness. I saw what looked like a demon facing towards me. “So you managed to escape did you?” It asked. “Ha…It looks like you’ll last very long though. Your time is up.” “That may be so.” I responded. “But I’m taking you with me.”
I willed the light to consume the demon and erase its existence. “Y/N…” I looked over to see Todoroki, Bakugo, Denki, and Kirishima. “Thank you…” I said, before collapsing. “No..no” The four repeatedly said as they gathered around me. “What do we do?” Kirishima asked. “Bond….We need to form a bond with her.” Bakugo responded.
I felt as they each placed a hand on my arms, and heard as they began to chant something, but my consciousness was slowly slipping away. I wanted to hold on longer, but it became harder and harder. Soon I felt myself return to the darkness. “Not yet.” I heard the same voice say from earlier. The darkness was swept away by it.
I opened my eyes to see a woman with blonde hair and golden eyes. “Aluthia?” I guessed. “That’s right.” She responded. “Looks like I chose correctly.” “Am I disappearing?” “No. Your friends made it just in time. They are now bonded to you, and you to them.” “Will I ever get to go back to my world?” “Yes, you have the ability to repair the gates. Although, the curse will never be lifted completely from your loved ones in your world.”
“What now?” I wondered aloud. “You go and do great things.” Aluthia told me. “Reconnect the worlds, go on as many adventures as you want. You are free to do whatever it is that you desire.” She pushed me forwards. “Thank you for choosing me Aluthia.” “Thank you for saving this world from the demon Y/N.”
“Hey! She’s waking up!” I heard some say excitedly. It took a couple of minutes for my eyes to adjust to the brightness. “It's good to see your eyes again.” Kirishima told me. “We were really worried. Bakugo and Todoroki should get here any second now.” With that, the door slammed open.
“I was really worried.” Bakugo said as he hugged me. “No fair!” Denki jumped onto us, joining the hug. Kirishima was next, and finally Todoroki. This is way off from the direction I thought my life would go in, but it would be filled with nothing but happiness. With these four mysterious Folk, among others, and many worlds of opportunities, I knew that I would be just fine.

“I can’t believe we got to see the Shredder and Dark Star fight” Midoriya said happily, chattering away about the video Aizawa had made them watch and analyse in today’s class but Shoto wasn’t listening. Instead his attention was focused on the girl just to the side of them, sat at her desk and staring longingly out the window.
He had been stealing glimpses at her all class, twisting in his seat as discreetly as possible but he was sure Momo had caught him a few times if the way she kept smiling at him was anything to go by. Thankfully she hadn’t said anything and Shoto trusted her enough to keep his secrets. He didn’t want the hassle that would come if the rest of the class found out about his and Y/Ns midnight meetings, even if they were all by accident. Well on his part anyway.
He had been surprised to find Y/N concentrating on her school work every time he looked round but then she had been acting a little odd the last few days. She hadn’t even tried to touch him last night when he walked in on her in the kitchen at 2am, making herself a cup of tea. Instead she had smiled tiredly at him over her shoulder, mumbling a quite hello before going back to her task.
He had been so shocked by the subdued meeting that he had been unable to move until she had brushed past him, hot cup in one hand and a bowl of what looked like the stir fry Bakugou had made for dinner that night in the other. She offered him another gentle smile as she said goodnight and disappeared back up the stairs to her room without Shoto having uttered a word in return. Five minutes later when he had finally remember why he had come down stairs in the first place Shoto discovered a cup of steaming green tea waiting for him on the side. It was strange to think she knew him so well already after such a short amount of time.
He knew it shouldn’t but the thought made his stomach flutter and his pulse race. He was the only one she had bothered to get to know, to talk to and spend actual time with. He didn’t know why she had picked him, what it was about him that had drawn her in but he was glad for it and would try his hardest to stick to the strange rules of that she had set, unless she withdraw from even him. He wanted this odd friendship to last because that’s all it was, friendship.
She sighed, folding her arms on top of the desk and lead her head down on top of them. She looked breath-taking, with the midday sun shining down on her and making it look like the sun was a bright halo above her head. Shoto had thought she looked many things since meeting her, beautiful, dangerous, melancholy but never angelic, not until this moment. No that wasn’t quite right. Y/N was many things but he wouldn’t say she was angelic, more like a fallen angel who had embraced all the mortal sins of man and looked good doing it.
“You okay Todoroki-kun?” Midoriya asked worriedly, placing a gentle hand on his arm. Reluctantly Shoto tore his eyes away from the glum looking girl and looked down at his friend, finding the smaller boy smiling softly up at him. Was he okay? He didn’t quite know. Physically yes he was fine but he defiantly felt confused maybe a little sad but they were nothing new, he often felt like that every day. Yet something felt a little off today and he couldn’t quite place his finger on it.
“Sorry” he said simply and Midoriya’s smile widened. “Oh don’t worry. Shall we go get some lunch?” Shoto hummed his agreement but honestly he wasn’t really that hungry but they had sparring practice afterwards and he would need the energy, especially if he ended up pared with Bakugou again. The angry blonde seemed to take it as an insult every time they were placed against one another and often come at Shoto with a ferocious tenacity that Shoto would always meet head on.
As they turned to make their way from the class movement out of the corner of his eyes caught his attention and Shoto turned back to look at Y/N as she quickly got up from her desk and shoved all her books into her bag. Maybe he could ask her to join them? It would be the friendly thing to do and she might say yes if he asked. She swung her bag over her shoulder, kicking her chair back in and turned towards him, heading for the door. Shoto sucked in a deep breath, readying himself but before he could even open his mouth to call out her name she was gone, breezing past him without even a glance.
Frowning Shoto followed after Midoriya as they headed towards the cafeteria, the other boy lost in his mumbling that he hadn’t seen Shoto’s complete and utter failure. Shoto was hurt and slightly confused by her sudden avoidance of him. Normally when he looked up at her during class he would at least catch her staring back at him a few times, a smug little smirk on her lips and eyes sparkling but today there had been nothing. No teasing smiles or little winks, not even a sideways glance. Well not for him anyway.
He had caught them twice, Bakugou twisting in his seat to scowl at her and every time Y/N smirked back, lifting her head up from her work and focusing all her attention on the angry blonde until he turned back with a huff. Shoto had never seen them interact before but then no one had ever seen him with Y/N before so there was nothing to say that they hadn’t been. Shoto didn’t know why but the thought of them two sneaking around upset him, made him angry even.
Most of their meeting happened at night and though sometimes it would be in hallways or training rooms the majority where in the kitchen. She was always so tactile, invading his personal space and pushing against him as she spoke, arms looping around him to hold him in place or hands pressing against his chest or sometimes his stomach. She would always greet him with ‘hello handsome’ or some variation and then proceeded to tease and taunt him, getting Shoto to say more in a few stolen moments than he did to his friends throughout the rest of the day.
That was until last night when something had changed. Shoto had thought maybe he had done something wrong or maybe she had grown bored of his cold demeanour and limited social skills but now he suspected maybe something else, or someone else was the reason for the sudden shift in her.
“Hey have you and Bakugou had another fight?” Shoto’s head snapped up from where he had been poking at his soba, surprised at Uraraka’s concerned question. He couldn’t even remember getting to the cafeteria let alone ordering his food and sitting down with friends. It seemed like that had been happening a lot though this last few weeks, Y/N occupying most of his thoughts.
Tipping his head to the side slight Shoto frowned. “No, why?” Uraraka nervously glanced over at Midoriya before her eyes snapped back to Shoto. “Well, Kacchan keeps staring at you” Midoriya looked up at Shoto through his eyelashes as he spoke, looking just as nervous as Uraraka had. Shoto’s frown deepened as he turned in his seat, looking behind him for the aforementioned boy. Sure enough Bakugou was glaring angrily at him, stabbing at his food with his chopsticks.
“Isn’t that just how he normally looks?” Shoto asked as he turned back around and started to eat in earnest. Bakugou glared at him a lot, at everyone actually so to find him doing it was nothing unusual but now he was aware of it Shoto could feel the other boy’s eyes on the back of his neck, the skin prickling under the intensity of it. Now that was unusual, the blonde wasn’t prone to staring for long periods of time and this had definitely been going on for longer than it should have.
“I don’t know, he does look pretty angry” Uraraka frowned as she spoke, looking over Shoto’s shoulder. Shoto didn’t know what the blonde’s problem was, he could only assume that him breathing the same air as the other teen had caused him some sort of offence. Though maybe he had found himself in the same situation as Shoto, thinking he was the only one then suddenly discovering you are not. It would explain the sudden hostility though with Bakugou it could very well be that he had just heard someone say that Shoto was good at something and his bizarre drive to be the best at everything had left him seething.
“Well whatever his issue I suggest staying clear of him. He will only get riled up and attempt to start a fight” Iida pushed up his glasses, looking seriously at them as he spoke. The three of them murmured their agreement, turning back to their food. The other three chatted happily around him, Shoto adding in odd words to show them he was paying attention but only just. He could still feel Bakugou’s eyes on him, his skin prickling with the heat of it. Shoto’s mind wandered trying to understand what had the other boy staring so intently at him but try as he might to come up with any other explanation his thoughts kept circling back to Y/N.
Now that he was really thinking about it there had been signs over the last few weeks that something was going on between Y/N and the other boy, the most noticeable being that Bakugou kept making extra food for her. She always moaned at the first bite regardless of what the other boy had made, her eyes fluttering closed and body relaxing. She always looked so content when she was eating and Shoto often found himself wondering what he would have to do to make her react the same way.
There had been the looks as well. Shoto knew that his observation skills were a little lacking outside of hero work but how he had managed to miss them up until today was beyond him. Maybe it had just been sheer luck on their part that he had never looked up at the exact time they had been gazing at one another. Well maybe not gazing, more like Katsuki scowling and Y/N teasingly smirking.
Really he should have known something was going on two weeks ago when Bakugou had slammed into him as he stalked out of the training rooms, cheeks flushed, pupils blown wide and growling. Shoto had thought nothing of it, not even when he stepped into the just vacated room and found Y/N sprawled across the floor, a wide smile on her lips as she stared up at the ceiling. He had thought they had been sparing but now he wasn’t so sure. He had been jealous at the time, that she would give that experience to the angry blonde instead of him but maybe that wasn’t the only experience she had given him.
Shoto could feel himself getting angrier at the thought of the two of them together, so lost in it that he didn’t even notice as they left the cafeteria and headed towards the changing rooms. Didn’t even say goodbye as Uraraka went into the girl’s looker room. He operated on autopilot, following after his friends as he went to his own locker and began to strip out of uniform.
Realistically he had no right to be angry, he had no claim to Y/N, no monopoly on her time but still he couldn’t shake the red hot ball that sat heavy in his stomach. How long had he been stupidly believing he was somehow special, unique in his ability to get the girls attention when in reality he was just one out of what? Two? Five? Ten? Hell maybe she had been secretly meeting up with the whole of the class, stringing them along and making them believe they were the special one. Shoto couldn’t quite believe that though, didn’t seem to fit the girl he knew. He always got the feeling that there time spent together, no matter how brief, was a rarity even for her.
So what made him and Bakugou so different from the others? Why would she seek them out instead of more social and friendly people like Kirishima or Midoriya? What exactly did she want from them? Shoto could probably guess what she wanted from Bakugou and what he would want in return.
Despite what some people would like to think Shoto wasn’t completely unobservant. He knew that Bakugou was attractive in a purely objective sense. He had heard the girls talking about it before, about his muscles, sharp jaw and large rough hands and how if it wasn’t for his rotten personality some of them might have tried to peruse him in the romantic sense. Then there was Y/N who was just stunning in Shoto’s eyes. The majority of the male students, and some of the girls from what he had heard, in the class could agree to that. Even Iida had said that her physical attributes were pleasing and coming from the prim and proper teen that was something, though he had blushed and stuttered through the whole statement.
Shoto knew that the two of them would look good together, could already imagine it. The two of them pushed together, cheeks flushed and lips kissed red. Their personality’s would complement the others perfectly, her teasing and playful nature only serving to driving Bakugou’s dominate and aggressive nature higher as he took from her whatever Y/N was willing to give him.
Shoto was the complete opposite of the blonde, quiet and subdued where he was loud and vigorous. The same went for their looks. Though he did have muscles they were nowhere near as prominent as the other teens, Shoto instead more lean and graceful. Momo had said he looked deceptively delicate, that it added to his beauty and that was why the girls always gushed over his looks. Shoto knew she was just being nice. He knew he wasn’t beautiful, the large scar on his face making that impossible. He had come to terms with it long ago but he knew how others looked at it.
The point being Shoto was nothing special when it came to looks, easily blending into the background where Bakugou always seemed to command the attention of the entire room every time he walked into it so he couldn’t really blame Y/N from wanting that kind of thing from him. Didn’t change the fact that Shoto didn’t really like the idea of it though.
The hot and heavy ball in his stomach seemed to tighten at the thought of them together, his anger bubbling up once again along with something else, something darker perhaps. Envy and sadness swirling together and mixing with his already burning anger. Sure Shoto was reserved, a little too blunt at times but out of the two of them he was the nicer person so why did Bakugou get to have Y/N in such an intimate way? Shoto may not have any experience in such things but he was a quick study and was confident he would be able to satisfy her better than the angry little mutt would be able to.
“Todoroki’s spoke to her”. Shoto froze at the mention of his name, hands hovering over the zipper of his jump suit. He had no clue what Mineta was talking about, hadn’t been listening to any of his class mates, so absorbed in his own thoughts that he had practically forgotten they were even there. “What! When?” Kaminari shouted and Shoto winced. He could feel himself starting to panic as he tried to recall what the others had been speaking about. From what Mineta had said and knowing how things tended to get when it was just the guys Shoto could only assume they were talking about the girls, well one specific girl but witch one. Shoto had spoken to the majority of the girls in their class over the last week, even some from other classes so they could be on about any one. Franticly he tried to think of who they could possibly be singling out but he was coming up empty, his mind suddenly going blank under the others attention.
“It’s true. I saw them the other night in the hallway and they looked pretty cosy if you know what I mean” Mineta said smugly and suddenly realisation dawned on him. Shoto knew what he was talking about, knew what it would have looked like to anyone else. They had passed in the corridor as Shoto made his way to Uraraka’s room for a study session with her, Midoriya and Iida. He had barley glanced her way before he had found himself pushed up against the wall, Y/N pressed up against him and pinning his hands to the wall at his side. She had pushed up onto her toes, lips brushing against his ear as she whispered. She had asked him if he knew what time the library closed, something so trivial but said in such a way that Shoto had had to close his eyes, trying to prevent the shiver that had run down his spine. It was the first time she had done something in such an open place, at a time where anyone could walk past and see them.
He had worried at being found in such a way but as soon as he had stuttered out the answer she had been gone, disappearing quickly down the hall and leaving him feeling cold without her warm body pressed so tightly against his. The encounter had lasted no more than a minute or two at best and he had thought he had gotten away with it, continuing onto Uraraka’s room and trying to will his blush away and calm his racing heart. Evidently Mineta had seen them though and now everyone knew his secret. He would never hear the end of it now and they would all renew their efforts to get Y/Ns attention. He didn’t want that though, didn’t want to share her limited attention with the rest of them. It was bad enough now he realised he had been losing out to Bakugou, he didn’t need the extra hassle of competing with the rest of the class. Didn’t think he would be the one who would come out on top.
“Dude you’ve been holding out on us. Come on spill”. Shoto took a deep breath, trying to gain some sort of control of his racing thoughts. Sighing he zipped up his jumpsuit, turning back to his locker to pull out his boots. “I would hardly call it a conversation, we barley exchanged words”. He was amazed that he managed to keep his voice steady and it hadn’t been a lie either. He had said maybe two or three words to her and that had been it. Definitely not a conversation.
“Do you normally let people push their chest against yours and whisper in your ear to exchange a few words?” Shoto was actually contemplating freezing the little pervert solid at this point. He knew he was blushing, could feel his face heating up and it didn’t help that he could feel Bakugou’s intense glare on the back of his neck again. Maybe he could just grab his belt and make a run for it. “Dude are you banging the new chick?” Shoto almost choked at the other boy’s loud question.
He didn’t know what to do, had never been the centre of this kind of conversation before. Shoto knew he should deny it. He hardly spent a few minutes with Y/N when he saw her and that really wasn’t long enough for a kiss let alone the two of them to bang, as Kaminari put it. Not that he had ever kissed her to know it wasn’t long enough. Though he imagined if he ever did get the chance he would want to take his time, just enjoying the feel of her lips against his. His tongue poking and prodding at her until she would open up and let his tongue slip into her mouth. No this wasn’t the time for those sort of thoughts, he needed to say something and quickly. The longer he stayed silent the harder it would be to deny the fact. Oh god he felt sick.
“I don’t think that’s really any of our business” Deku stuttered out, coming to his rescue. He was always such a hero, coming to the aid of those who needed it and Shoto couldn’t be happier than to call him a friend right now. Sighing he turned round to face the rest of the room, finally ready to deny their accusations but before he could say anything Bakugou shot up from the bench he had been sat on, grabbing his gauntlets and slamming his locker shut. All eyes turned to him as he spoke, growling out his words and clearly angry. “Who gives a shit if he’s getting his dick wet. Just hurry the fuck up and get your arses out there so I can beat them”.
Shoto stood, stunned at the other teens words. Was he trying to help Shoto out or was he just angry that he was having to listen to their classmates talk about Shoto with the girl he was clearly with? Shoto grunted as Katsuki slammed into him on his way towards the exit, not even bothering to yell at him to get out his way as he stormed past. So definitely angry then.
“How rude” Iida stated, frowning after the blonde. “Are you okay Todoroki-kun?” Midoriya asked, lifting a scared hand and gently placing it on Shoto’s arm. Rubbing at his shoulder Shoto mumbled “I’m fine” before moving away from his friend to quickly pull on the rest of his hero costume. The changing room fell into an odd sort of silence, the rest of the class breaking of and mumbling to one another as they finished getting ready. He could feel Midoriya keep glancing at him and knew that his friend was worried about him but in all honesty he was just glad Bakugou had gotten most of the attention off of him. His classmates would be sure to bring up his and Y/Ns clandestine meeting but for now it was over and done with and hopefully he would have time to come up with a reasonably excuse.
Almost as one they filed out onto the field, the sun beating down on them but Shoto’s mind was still stuck on the blonde and Y/N. Katsuki had no right to be angry with Shoto, it wasn’t like he had known. Y/N and Shoto weren’t anything to each other anyway, friends at a push but more like acquaintances actually. Shoto frowned at the thought. Was that all they were? Nothing had really happened between them, no declaration of what it was that was building between them but he knew that he wanted more from her but he wasn’t quite sure what.
Friendship would be nice. From the brief conversations they had had he knew that he would be able to talk to her about almost anything. He felt mostly comfortable around her, though still a little awkward sometimes but that was just him. It would take a lot to get to the level of comfort and ease he felt around his friends but he knew that given time they could form a strong friendship but was that enough? Shoto couldn’t deny that he found her attractive, his dreams and wondering thoughts making that much clear and he wouldn’t be opposed if that was the way things went but if she was already doing that with Bakugou then all he could ever really hope for was friendship. He had never been jealous of the blonde before but when it came to Y/N it seemed he wasn’t below resenting the other teen for his luck.
“You’re finally all here”. Shoto looked up from where he had been frowning down at his feet as Aizawa spoke. Instantly the teacher lost his attention as Shoto’s eyes landed on the girl who haunted his every thought. Y/N was stood next to Aizawa, staring intently up at him and taking in every words he was say, unlike Shoto who was unable to pick out anything but odd words, too focused on Y/N to really register what was happening.
She looked beautiful in the early afternoon sunlight, head tilted back slightly and skin almost seeming to glow. She had on a generic U.A training outfit and trainers so he could guess that finally she was here to train with them. A thrill of excitement ran through him at the prospect. No one knew what her quirk was, Y/N keeping it a secret and Aizawa refusing to tell them but finally he would get to see it first-hand. Shoto had little to no doubt that it would be something spectacular, probably a little flashy after all how could it not be when it was hers.
Aizawa was still talking but Y/N seemed done listening, wordlessly spinning on her heals and heading towards the middle of the pitch. Shoto’s eyes tracked every movement as she twisted and turned, stretching her body as she got ready. Her eyes fluttered closed, back bowing as she stretched her arms above her head and bent backwards, forcing her chest out and mouth open slightly as she let out a small groan. Shoto’s mind stuck on that image, imagining what it would be like to have her under him and doing the same thing, offering up her neck to him as she tipped her head back.
He felt tugging on his arm and wordlessly stumbled after Midoriya as he tugged him towards an awaiting bench. The rest of the class followed only leaving Mineta to nervously waddle to the middle of the pitch. Though he hadn’t really been listening to his teacher Shoto was able to piece together what would be happening from the conversations going on around him and he was concerned at what was to come.
All twenty of them vs Y/N. Sure it would be one at a time but it still seemed rather unfair. She would grow tired and weak as the battles went on and surly by the end she wouldn’t be able to defend herself adequately against her opponents. It wasn’t like Aizawa to put a student in such an unfair situation so it only stood to reason that he knew she would be able to take the beating. It must have something to do with her quirk, maybe something to do with endurance. Whatever it was Shoto hoped that it would protect her from the onslaught of pain heading her way.
He had been surprised as she began to strip, smiling down at the smaller boy the whole time. It was a rather intimate act and Shoto could easily imagine her doing this for him in the privacy of his room, slowly exposing inch after inch of perfect, unblemished skin just for him. The choked of squeak that Iida made was a harsh reminder that this wasn’t just for him and that the whole class got to watch as she stripped down to her black sports bra and matching shorts. There was so much skin on display that Shoto didn’t know where to look first, his eyes dragging across her from head to toe as he tried to commit it all to memory, in case he never got to see it again.
Mineta screamed as she grabbed his collar and swung him round, throwing him from the pitch. He crash back to the floor face first, crying out as he skidded across the dirt. No one went to help him, all of them staring dumbfounded at his crumbled body. “Wow” Midoriya whispered and Shoto had to agree. She hadn’t seemed to use a quirk, just brute strength and the smaller boy’s momentum against him. “Hagakure you’re next” Aizawa called and Shoto turned his attention to the gloves and shoes that made their way across the pitch.
Hagakure was a good fighter, not the best by a long shot but still good. With her invisibility quirk stealth was her main attribute, if she could successfully sneak up on Y/N she stood a good chance of managing to get the other girl across the boundary lines but that all depended on what Y/Ns quirk was. They had yet to see any evidence of what Y/N was truly capable of. She must have skill to get into U.A, especially transferring in for just the last year but to what level they didn’t know. Shoto got the feeling that they were going to find out today exactly what Y/N was capable off and he truly hoped she didn’t hold back, at least when it got to his turn. He didn’t care if she restrained herself with the rest of the class just as long as she came at him with everything she had and he would do her the same for her.
The two girls exchange pleasantries, Y/N checking if Hagakure was ready and the other girl confirming she was after stripping her few remaining bits of clothing off and disappearing completely. Shoto sighed as Y/N closed her eyes and stood perfectly still in the middle of the pitch. Was she just giving up? He had hopped for more, some sort of display of power and skill but it seemed like he wasn’t going to get it. Suddenly her hand snapped out, Hagakure’s surprised cry sounding loud in the open space and Y/N smirked.
It didn’t take long for Y/N to win, dragging the girl across the boundary line by her hair in a brutal display of strength and skill. She had been nice enough afterwards, her gentle actions and soothing words a complete contrast to the harsh beating she had just given the other girl but Hagakure excepted it and Shoto got the feeling that by the time she sat back down by Ojiro that Y/N had made a friend. Shoto didn’t quite know what to make of that, confused at the mix of jealousy and happiness he felt.
What came after could only be called the complete and utter annihilation of the class. Y/N was precise and officiant in her take downs, matching her movements to suit each individual opponent. Some took only a few minutes to dispatch some, were others warranted a little more effort on her part but they all ended the same. Each and every one of his class mates ended up outside the boundary lines whilst Y/N stood triumphant still inside the pitch. Not one of them had managed to get her even remotely close to the line let alone over it and still no one had managed to guess her quirk. Each failed attempt only seem to spur her on, making her push harder against those who faced her and quite frankly Shoto found it both equal parts beautiful and worrying. She was just one girl yet she was almost effortlessly tearing through the class like they were dolls.
He had realised early on that she had been studying their fighting skills just from the way she had defended herself against Asui. Y/N had known before the girl had even launched her first attack what was going to happen, stepping to the side and darting a hand out to grab her tongue. She had quickly wrapped it around her arm a few times, smirking as she yanked the panicked girl forward and swung her round, Asui stumbling and falling across the boundary line. Asui didn’t often lead with that attack but she had a tell, smacking her lips together and tongue poking out briefly before she did it. It would be impossible for Y/N to know this unless she had been watching their practices. She had yet another advantage over them, staking the odds even more so in her favour.
Her fight with Uraraka had lasted longer, Y/N effortlessly avoiding the other girls touch whilst keeping her from being able to touch the floor. Uraraka had managed to make herself float a few times but Y/N had been there, yanking her back down to earth and slamming her against the ground every time. At some point she had managed to get Uraraka’s helmet off and a look of triumph had fluttered across Y/Ns face, like that had been the goal of the fight instead of getting her across the boundary lines. It hadn’t taken long after that for Y/N to get the upper hand, her fist connecting with the side of Uraraka’s face and knocking her off balance and sent her stumbling backwards and across the boundary line.
Y/N was always gentle and friendly after each fight, offering every opponent a soft smile and constructive criticism whilst also complimenting their quirk and skill. She hadn’t been any different with Uraraka but there was something about the way she gently turned the other girls head, delicate fingers brushing softly at the bruise that was already forming on her cheek that sat uneasy with Shoto. He didn’t know what is was about the action that he didn’t like but it made him scowl at the girl.
She wasn’t one for touching. Shoto had learned quickly that she had to be the one to initiate it but now she was touching everyone. She wasn’t shying away from their touches or getting angry like she had when Midoriya had tried to shake her hand on her first day. No, instead she was welcoming it, laughing and smiling. She had even allowed Ashido to wrap her in a tight hug and Kirishima to sling an arm over her shoulder as he called their fight manly and begged Y/N to tell him what her quirk was.
Shoto had bristled at the other boy being so casual with her, even more so as she had placed a hand over his abs, fingers splayed wide across his naked skin and far too close to the top of the teens trousers. Kirishima hadn’t seemed to notice or care, just asking her to spare with him latter in the week because he wanted her to teach him how to flip someone over his shoulder like she had done to him. Shoto liked the idea of that even less than the touching.
As time passed Shoto became more agitated as he was made to wait. He watched every fight with sharp and calculating eyes, occasionally exchanging words with Midoriya as they discussed how Y/N had won yet again and what possible quirk she could be using to aid her in the task. When Iida had been called forward Shoto had been convinced that this would be the one where she was finally pushed across the boundary line, quite literally in this case. He had seen his friend do it before, running full speed and forcing his opponent in the direction he wanted them to go. Shoto expected this time wouldn’t be any different and he felt a little disappointed that he wouldn’t be the first to defeat her.
In reality Shoto couldn’t have been more wrong if he had actually tried to be. Iida had run rings around her, trying to confuse the girl so she wouldn’t know what direction he would be coming from but it hadn’t been enough. As soon as he had started to charge her Y/N had spun to face him, moving out the way and sticking her leg out at the last moment. Iida hadn’t had time to change direction, tripping over her outstretched leg and falling to the floor with a loud thud. Y/N had wasted no time, sweeping in and yanking the boy’s helmet off him and throwing it to the side. She had grabbed a fistful of his hair, yanking his head back and grabbing his chin with her other hand as she leant over him. She had whispered in his ear, too low for Shoto to hear but he could guess what kind of thing she had said from the way Iida blushed a deep red, clearly embassies and flustered.
She had allowed him to get to his feet, even griping his hand and helping him steady himself. That had been a mistake on Iida’s part, Y/N grinning like a manic as she tightened her grip on his hand and yanked the larger boy forward and head butted him. Iida had stumbled back, shocked at the sudden aggression but he didn’t have time to recover, Y/N kneeing him in the stomach. From then on it was just blow after blow as she forced the other boy back, not giving him time to think let alone use his quirk and all too quickly he was forced across the boundary line, falling to the ground as she slammed her foot into the side of his head.
She had helped him up, slinging his arm over her shoulder and wrapping one of her arms around his waist, the whole time apologising about the beating. Aizawa had sent Ojiro and Sato out to take him from her and between the two of them they had carried him off towards Recovery Girls office. Apart from Hagakure, Iida was the only other person who had been sent off to get looked at, his injury’s worse than the rest of the classes combined. It had been a sombre moment as they all watched their class rep get lead of, groaning and stumbling, a small trickle of blood running down the side of his face. Aizawa had snapped them all out of it, calling for the next person and they had all looked back to the girl stood in the middle of the pitch, frowning as she watched Iida be lead off.
She was a bit more restrained afterwards, reigning in her attacks and refraining from being too aggressive in her pursuit to get the others across the line. Shoto could tell that she was upset with herself, could see her second guessing every blow she dealt. Any normal person would have lost it by now, falling victim to their own hesitance but still she kept winning, kept forcing her class mates back until she was the only one left standing on the pitch.
After what seemed like hours there were only three left. “Alright” Aizawa called and Deku, Bakugou and he all leaned forward, waiting to find out which one of them was up next. Despite Aizawa saying the order they would be going in was picked at random, Shoto found it a rather odd coincidence that the top three in the class had been left till last. “Todoroki you’re up”. Shoto let out a breath he hadn’t even realised he had been holding as he was called forward.
“Good luck” Midoriya mumbled, patting him on the back as he got up and slowly made his way to the middle of the pitch. He had been looking forward to his chance to finally fight Y/N but he wanted her to give it her all, not hold herself back like she had been with the others. He could understand why she was doing it, clearly having over done it with Iida but Shoto wanted to face her on even footing, well as even as he could get without knowing her quirk. He would just have to go all out and force her to meet him at his level.
“Well hello handsome” Y/N practically purred as he came to a stop in front of her. She was all wide smiles and sparkling eyes, a look of excitement about her. Shoto could hear Mineta shouting ‘I told you so’ and he groaned, glaring at her. He didn’t understand the sudden shift, how she could go from being so closed off and secretive one day, then open and friendly the next. Something must have happened yesterday for her behaviour to suddenly shift like that but the question was what?
Wordlessly he took up his fighting stance, scowling at Y/N. Her smirk grew wider as she took her now familiar stance, both hands coming up in front of her and curled into fists. “Show me what you’ve got hot stuff”. Her voice was pitched a little lower, a seductive purr to it as she winked at him. Shoto sneered, his anger getting the best of him. Now the whole class would think they were something they’re not and he would have the likes of Mineta and Kaminari on at him for days, harassing him about it and trying to find out things that Shoto himself wouldn’t know. Bakugou should think himself lucky they didn’t know about his relationship with the girl or he too would find himself on the receiving end of their annoying persistence.
He would probably know the answers to their prying questions though. Know what she looked like, sounded like. Would know if she preferred being on top or having him looming over her. He would know where to touch and kiss, how to tease and excite her. Would know every intimate detail about her for them to prise out of him.
Full of anger and jealousy, Shoto lunged forward throwing an arm up and sending a sheet of ice barrelling towards her. He had hoped to catch her off guard with the fast moving sheet of ice but she had been too quick, dodging to the side as it barrelled past her. “You’re going to have to do better than that” she teased, grinning widely as she turned to look at him, tapping her finger against the ice.
Growling Shoto set off after her yet again. Ice and fire flew across the pitch as he tried to drive her back but she kept dancing out of the way. She was incredibly light on her feet and fast to, effortlessly avoiding all of his attacks with a bright smile on her lips. It looked like she was having fun, laughing as she used the sheet of ice he had just sent across the ground to slide closer to him and despite his earlier anger Shoto could feel a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips, her enthusiasm infectious.
There were so many walls and shards of ice scattered across the field that it was difficult to see the rest of the class but Shoto was fine with that. He could almost pretend that they were the only two there, almost like they were playing a game instead of doing school work. He was having fun, the first time in a while that he had really enjoyed sparing with someone. He wasn’t thinking, wasn’t planning out moves or trying to strategies. He was just reacting letting his adrenaline and excitement dictate what he was doing and it was exhilarating. Even if her constant evasion of his attacks was starting to get a little annoying.
Darting forward Shoto spun, sending a wall of fire towards her. He was expecting her to dodge the attack, sending another wave of ice to the side in hopes of cutting her off. What he hadn’t been expecting was for Y/N to leap directly through the wall of flames, her fist contenting with his jaw and sending him stumbling backwards with a grunt of pain. He felt like he had been hit with a brick, his head snapping to the side and throbbing in pain.
Steadying himself Shoto glared up at her, rubbing at the sore spot. She smirked down at him, quirking an eyebrow at him and Shoto felt the challenge she was throwing at his feet. She looked shockingly beautiful with the ends of her hair singed and her clothes smoking, the last fading flickers of his flames behind her. She patted at a few spots of her clothes that had caught as she jumped through the flames, clearly not caring that she could have easily been severely burned.
“You good?” She asked, not even bothering to look up at him. Scowling he straightened and dived for her, his left side consumed with flames. He didn’t need her pity, her false act of caring. He had been through worse before and probably would again. He could take whatever she could throw at him and give it back tenfold.
With a snort of laughter she easily dodged his fists, jumping back as she swung her own arm up to block him. Jaw clenched Shoto perused her, moving quickly as he sent a spiral of fire chasing after her, his foot slamming down onto the ground at the same time and sending sharp spikes of ice right for her. It should have slammed straight into her, sending her backwards and over the boundary lines. Should being the important part but she had run straight for him instead, effortlessly weaving around both attacks and lunging at him.
She had moved quickly, a lot quicker than she had been and almost seeming to float through the air. Shoto had reacted as quickly as he could, throwing up his right arm to send out another wall of ice but she was already to close. She knocked his arm away, fingers wrapping around his wrist as her body slammed into his and sent them crashing to the ground. He cried out as his back hit the floor hard, arching up at the sudden sting of pain shooting down his spine.
Y/N grunted as she forced him back down, legs spread on either side of his hips, her weight holding him down. Both her hands were curled around his arms just under his wrist guards, pinning his arms to the dirt by his head. Blinking a few times to clear the slight haziness that had crept into the edges of his vision Shoto glared up at her, trying to yank his arms down but she just tightened her grip on him, pushing down harder to keep him in place.
“Hey handsome” she said softly, smiling down at him in what Shoto could only describe as gentle amusement. “Get off me” he grumbled, trying to tug his arms free once again to no avail. He could easily use his quirk to get her off him but by doing so he could seriously hurt her and though she had proven to be a little reckless, jumping through his flames and allowing his ice to graze across her exposed skin he didn’t think she wanted to be in hospital with third degree burns or a shard of ice through her chest.
“No, don’t think I will” she said teasingly, shifting slightly on top of him. As her weight settled, Shoto’s eyes widened as he finally registered the position they were in. She was sat on his groin, legs spread wide around his hips and leant forward slightly. If he flickered his eyes down Shoto had a clear view of the swell of her breasts. He had been pinned before but never had it felt like this. Never had he enjoyed the weight of his opponent baring down on him or the slide of their body against his.
Eyes wide in shock he glanced over towards his class, embarrass to be in such a position with all them watching. What he found though was a solid wall of ice that stretched across the entire side of the pitch and then some, completely blocking them from view. Shoto’s embarrassment quickly faded away only to be replaced by confusion. He was sure he hadn’t put enough power behind his attack to create something so big. He had been aiming to knock her off her feet, not squish her.
It worried him that he had lost control like that. The fact that he hadn’t been able to control his ice let alone remember putting so much force behind it sitting heavy in his gut. He could have hurt her if she hadn’t have moved his arm from its original trajectory. That couldn’t happen, he wouldn’t let it. He couldn’t allow himself to get distracted like that, he had to focus and not allow Y/N to invade his thought.
“Just me and you. Just how I like it”. Shoto slowly turned his attention back to the girl above him. Her smile was soft, the gentle amusement still sparkling in her eyes. Shoto felt trapped in her gaze, more so than he did in her grasp. He could spend hours looking into her eyes, tracking all the flecks of colour. “Would you not prefer Bakugou” Shoto snapped, the words escaping before he had even know they were forming.
He slammed his mouth shut, eyes wide as he began to panic. Why had he said that? He hadn’t meant to, had wanted to tell her to quit messing around and get on with the fight but they had just come tumbling out. It wasn’t the first time he had spoken without thinking with her and last time he had gotten the distinct impression he had done something wrong.
Y/N stared down at him, a whole string of emotions passing across her face. Surprise, confusion, doubt and the whole time Shoto could feel his face getting reader, unable to look away as he waited for her to say something. She blinked and then she was smiling again, her eyes alight with amusement. “Are you...jealous?” She asked joyfully, her smile only getting wider as he failed to answer her.
She laughed at his obvious discomfort and embarrassment, her whole body shaking with it and Shoto was once again reminded of the position they were in. He clenched his jaw, tipping his head back and trying to hold in a gasp as her arse moved across his groin. She didn’t seem to notice his predicament or even care and that was fine but Shoto needed her to stop moving or things were going to get even more embarrassing for the both of them.
With one last huff of laughter Y/N stilled and Shoto chanced a look up. She looked genuinely happy, with the sun shining behind her, a faint blush to her cheeks and a thin sheen of sweat across her skin. Somehow Shoto had done that, made her look so relaxed and at ease, he might even go as far as to say carefree. It was a beautiful sight and though he liked the teasing smirks and playful winks he much preferred these genuine, unguarded and soft smiles. He hoped that he would be able to see them more often, instead of the sad and lonely looks of longing she often wore in class.
“Don’t worry hot stuff, you’re not missing out. Mine and his meetings are quite similar to ours, except he yells at me a lot more. Swears to”. She let go of one of his wrists as she spoke, using her now free hand to tap him gently on the nose. Shoto huffed, scrunching up his face slightly at the rather odd action. She was laughing again as she reached back up, her cool fingers wrapping around his arm once more. He hadn’t even attempted to move when she let go, just left his arm where she had placed it like an obedient little puppy.
He felt a wave of relief wash over him at her words, Shoto not having realised how displeased he had truly been with the idea of them together. He had been rash, too hasty with his assumptions. The truth was Shoto liked Y/N, was interested in her and it had felt like a blow to the stomach to think he had somehow missed his chance to develop some sort of a relationship with her because there would have been no way that Bakugou would have allowed Shoto to get close to Y/N unless it was to taunt him with what he couldn’t have.
Above him Y/N sighed, shifting back slightly and looking at the wall of ice that separated them from the class, her eyes seeming to land roughly where Shoto remembered Bakugou to have been seated. Her smile had fallen, a small frown tugging at her lips. Shoto thought she looked lost almost, maybe even a little scared. He missed her smile already, the way it lit up her face and made her eyes sparkle. He wanted it back, he just didn’t know what to do to make that happen. “I didn’t intend to make friends here but there is something about the two of you that intrigues me. I can’t help but want to be around you”. Her voice was soft as she spoke with a tinge of sadness running through it. It was almost like the fact that she had made friends was something to be ashamed off, to worry about.
Shoto didn’t understand but then he rarely understood others emotions. He had gotten better over the years, his friendships with Midoriya, Iida and Uraraka having gone a long way to fix some of the damage done in his childhood but still he struggled sometimes, unsure if he was readying other people correctly or if he had missed the mark completely. Shoto didn’t feel like that was what was happening here though. He had spent so much time over the last three weeks watching Y/N that he was sure he would be able to tell the moment her emotions shifted though maybe not how to deal with them. He was still rather awkward but maybe she would accept a hug. He knew she didn’t like it when others were the ones to initiate contact but maybe they were close enough now that she wouldn’t punch him if he tried.
Shoto bent his legs, getting ready to push himself up and pull his hands free from her lose grip but before he could do anything Y/Ns head snapped back round, a wide and mischievous smile on her lips. “Now, I have had something on my mind to and it’s been keeping me up at night trying to figure it out”. As she spoke she moved Shoto’s arms up until his hands were above his head and she could hold them in place with one hand.
Y/N was practically lead on top of him now, her body stretched across his. Shoto could feel his heart racing, a blush spreading across his face and down his neck at the rather intimate position they were in. Shoto didn’t know what Y/N was talking about but suddenly he was very grateful for it.
He sucked in a breath as her cold hand came to rest on his chest, Y/N playing with the zipper of his jumpsuit. “Your quirk splits your right down the middle, yeah?” Shoto gulped at the question, eyes wide and stuck on her as he nodded instead of answering her. Her smirk grew as she shifted to the side slightly, lifting her body off of his so she was now hovering over him. Her face was above his now, impossible close and Shoto knew that if he were to lean up he would be able to kiss her but his mind was short circuiting, hyper aware of her delicate fingers stroking his chest.
Shoto wasn’t afraid to admit he was a virgin. Unlike most of his class he just hadn’t found the appeal of sex and after a few people’s failed attempts to get him in bed people had just stopped perusing him. Sure he had notice that some of his class mates were pleasing to look at but he had never wanted to be intimate with any of them, his hands always being good enough for when he actually felt the need for relief. Then three weeks ago he hand found himself with a lap full Y/N, her arms wrapped around his neck as she whispered in his ear, asking if he could give her directions to the teachers’ lounge.
She had felt good pushed against him and in his shocked state Shoto had only just about managed to stutter out a reply. She had winked at him as she thanked him and then she was gone, as suddenly as she had arrived. He had just sat there dumbfounded, staring out at nothingness until Midoriya had found him an hour later. From then on something gave and Shoto found himself constantly thinking about Y/N, every chance encounter making it worse than the day before. He knew it wasn’t very gentlemanly to think of her in such ways but it seemed like he was making up for lost time and now wasn’t any different, his mind racing with the possibilities this situation could lead to.
Y/N slowly began to drag her fingers down his chest, following the line of his zipper and Shoto barley managed to keep in a moan. He slammed his eyes closed, head tipped back and mouth slightly open. His hands were flexing above his head, fingers trying to grasp at something but there wasn’t anything there. “So, if I was to put my mouth here would half of it be hot and the other half cold?” Shoto’s eyes shot up, a gasp escaping his parted lips as she dragged her finger tips across his already half hard dick. He knew the answer to that but the words stuck in his throat, unable to make it past the pathetic whine as she pushed a little harder against him.
She had a wicked smile on her lips, her pupils’ blown so wide that Shoto couldn’t barely see the ring of colour around them. “Or can you control it, decide whether it’s a shaft of ice or a red hot poker?” Her hand moved away from his groin, sliding back up to his chest, pushing against every muscle as she went. Y/N was the first person other than himself to touch him in such an intimate place and Shoto found himself missing the pressure already.
She leaned down closer, the tip of her nose brushing against his. Shoto watched her eyes darting over towards the wall of ice, her smirk getting wider at the muffled sound of yelling. It sounded like Bakugou, the blonde probably getting annoyed that he couldn’t see what was going on. He was probably worried about the lack of noise as well, was most likely getting suspicious of what the two of them could be doing whilst out of his sight.
Shoto probably shouldn’t find it as appealing as he did, the prospect of doing something like this whilst the rest of his class were just a dozen or so feet away. He should feel ashamed, definitely not exhilarated. Embarrassment, adrenaline and arousal swirled together with a smug sense of satisfaction of getting something Bakugou hadn’t.
“What do you say handsome? If you win will you let me satisfy my curiosity?” Y/N nipped at his ear and this time he really did moan, tipping his head to the side to give her better access but she pulled away quickly, letting go of his wrists so she could push herself up and onto her feet. She moved to the side, staring down at him with an amused smile, waiting for his reply. Shoto blinked up at her, her words only just sinking in. She couldn’t be implying what he thought she was because people didn’t go around just offering that sort of thing out. Shoto could already see it though, all those stupid lollipops he kept finding her with giving him enough of an idea of what she would look like. What he couldn’t do was imagine how it would feel but he wanted to find out.
With a renewed sense of determination Shoto pushed himself up into a sitting position, readying himself to get back up and continue we’re they left off. They had been silent for too long now and Shoto was surprised Aizawa hadn’t come looking to see what was going on, or even Bakugou for that matter. He could still hear the blonde shouting at someone, probably getting ready to blast the sheet of ice apart. Y/N held out her hand towards him, wiggling her fingers when he failed to take it and just stared up at her sceptically. He wasn’t stupid, he had seen what she had done to Iida after helping him up and he wasn’t about to fall for the same nasty trick.
Huffing she rolled her eyes at him, holding out bother her hands to him now. “Don’t worry I’m not going to hit you, promise”. Giving her one more suspicious once over Shoto reaches up and grabbed her hands, letting her pull him up as she pushed. They were close when he was finally stood, chests almost pressed against one anothers. Now they were stood Shoto had to tip his head forward slightly to look at her, Y/N about half a head shorter than him. Shoto liked the idea of that, he would be able to rest his head on top of hers when he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her in for a hug.
She let go of his hands, her own slowly sliding up his arms until one was curled around his bicep and the other pressed flat against his rapidly beating heat. “You lot really are too trusting”. She sounded a little disappointed as she spoke, her fingers flexing on his chest. Shoto frowned, confused at her words but he didn’t have time to ask what she meant. Her hold tightened on him, nails digging in slightly through the fabric of his suit and then suddenly he was spinning, Y/N using her grip to pull him round and throw him against the wall of ice.
Shoto grunted, as his body connected hard with the ice, the sound of a loud cracking ringing in his ears. She was on him quickly, chest pressed against him and one leg shoved between his. Her hands were on his shoulders, keeping him pinned in place, her nails digging in and just on the edge of painful. She had ripped at his jumpsuit, the fabric giving way under her tight grasp as she flung him round.
Shoto growled at her, trying to push forward but she just pressed herself tighter against him. “You lied” he grunted, annoyed at his own stupidity. Y/N was right, they really were too trusting. “Did I hit you?” She quirked an eyebrow at him in question, looking at him expectantly as she waited for him to answer her. Grunting Shoto turned his head to the side, eyes dropping to look at the ground. So technically she hadn’t lied, still didn’t change the fact that he had been far too trusting of her. That sort of blind trust could get him killed out in the field.
Sighing Y/N frowned at him, the disappointment clear in her voice when she spoke. “After everything I have seen I expected more from you, seems I was mistaken”. Narrowing his eyes Shoto rolled his body towards her, letting both aspects of his quirk go at once. She had no choice but to let him go, taking a step back and bringing her hands up to protect her face from the raging flames and sharp spikes of ice.
He didn’t give her a chance to recover, darting forward and gripping her shoulder tightly. He pulled her towards him, stepping out the way and slamming her against the spot he had just been pinned against. The ice creaked loudly under the impact, the cracks getting bigger and fanning out along the large sheet. He grabbed her wrists, twisting them behind her back and grabbing them tightly with one hand. He could feel the heat radiating off of her, it prickling uncomfortably against his cold side. Shoto could have sworn she had been ice cold just moments ago. Y/N grunted as he kicked her legs wide, pressing himself along her back, her hands splayed out across his stomach and her fingers tips just curling around the edge of his belt.
Disappointed, that’s what she had said with that disapproving look on her face, just like his old man used to when Shoto failed to meet his expectations. Well, was she disappointed now? He was the first to pin her. The first to get the upper hand. The first to even get this close to winning. It would serve her right, to get beaten by him. Clearly she was confident in her ability to beat him, which was probably why she had made that offer. Y/N believed that she would win so there was no risk for her and it had the added bonus of getting him riled up, thinking with his dick instead of his brain. Well there wouldn’t be any more of that, at least not whilst they were still fighting anyway. He would win and then he would make her pay up.
Her laughter pulled Shoto from his thoughts and he frowned at her, confused as to why her current situation was so funny to her. Y/Ns head was turned to the side, cheek pressed against the ice and a wide smile splitting her face in half. “That’s more like it” she said excitedly and Shoto got the distinct impression he had been played. Snarling he tightened his grip on her wrists and yanked her hands back even more, her bracelets clinking against his belt as her hands moved lower. He expected her to grab at him, to rub her hands against him in an attempt to distract him but she never did, instead keeping her hands splayed wide and pressed against her arse, actively trying not to touch him.
“Don’t hold back, I can take it. You don’t have to worry about hurting me, I’ve been through worse”. Shoto jerked back slightly at her words. What exactly was she giving him permission to do? He hadn’t thought he had been holding back all that much, not enough for her to notice anyway but somehow she had and had been disappointed by it. If that was what she wanted from him Shoto could give her that but he didn’t want to hurt her. Though the prospect of that didn’t really seem to bother her. She had recklessly charged into his attacks, literally jumping through fire to get to him with a confidence that Shoto had only ever seen on people who knew they couldn’t get hurt.
“That’s it, isn’t it? You can heal” Shoto stared at her as he spoke, confident in his guess. He didn’t notice his grip loosening on her wrists or that the cracked sheet of ice was starting to melt, droplets of water running down it and pooling on the ground. Y/Ns smile softened, turning her head more so she could actually look at him. “That’s not my quirk” she said smugly, the emphasis she put on ‘my’ confusing him.
Shoto didn’t get time to process her words before Y/N was jerking her head back, slamming the back of her head into his temple. With a surprised grunt Shoto staggered back, her hands slipping free of his grasp as she spun round. Shoto ducked, only just missing the kick she had aimed at his head. Y/N didn’t let up, stepping in close and slamming her hard elbow into his stomach. Shoto didn’t even think as pain shot out from where she had hit him, he just acted. He aimed a punch at her face, letting his ice cover his hand and arm. She didn’t see it coming, Shoto using his fire to block her view and he landed the hit on her jaw.
Y/Ns head snapped to the side from the impact, stumbling back into the wall of ice. There was a loud crash, the ice breaking and crumbling to the floor. As it gave way behind her Y/N stumbled, falling to the dirt and rolling to a stop just before the boundary lines. Shoto hardly noticed the rest of his class, his eyes flickering from the girl on the ground to the stunned looking blonde stood just the other side of the boundary lines. If he wasn’t breathing so heavily Shoto might have smiled at the obvious annoyance on Bakugou’s face but he couldn’t afford to get distracted now. She was so close to the edge, it wouldn’t take much to push her over.
He was about to step forward, ready to send a fast moving spike of ice towards her when she moved, Y/N pushing herself to her knees. He watched in horror as she dragged the back of her hand across her lip, smearing the blood oozing from the cut across her hand and lip. The bright red stood out against her skin, glaring prof that he had hurt her. She let out a small huff of laughter, turning to face him with a wide smile.
She looked so happy about the hit and all Shoto could do was stand there and stare as she pushed herself up onto her feet, glancing behind her to Bakugou. Y/N dragged her eyes over him, taking in every inch of the blonde. She looked at him through hooded eyes and smirked, her tongue poking out to run across her split lip. Shoto felt the anger and jealousy that had been lying dormant start to bubble up again. This was their fight, she should be paying attention to him. She winked at the clearly flustered blonde before turning back to him and started running towards him. Shoto was ready though, running to meet her and sending a wall of fire towards her.
Everything was fast paced from then on, each of them landing a few hits but Shoto was starting to grow tired, the excessive use of his quirk starting to take its toll. The worst thing was he was losing control of it, his fire seeming to curl around him instead of barrelling towards Y/N and his ice shooting off in directions he hadn’t been aiming for. He didn’t feel like he was losing control though, he felt like he always did when using his quirk but something was definitely wrong. It was almost like his quirk had developed a mind of its own and decided to turn on him.
Shoto rolled to the side as another wave of flames twisted, having no choice but to throw up a small wall of ice to protect himself. Y/N didn’t give him time to recover, already there when he got to his feet and slamming her body into his, forcing him back towards the chunk of ice behind him. He shoved her off him, his shoulder slamming into hers as he tried to knee her in the stomach but her hands were there to stop him, shoving him back. Shoto grunted at the sharp sting of an electric shock shot through his knee and down his leg but he couldn’t afford to let it stop him.
Shoto ran toward her, throwing a wall of ice towards her but suddenly his feet slid out from under him and he went tumbling backwards, sliding along the smooth path of ice until he rolled off the end and tumbled into the dirt. Groaning at his own inability to control his quirk Shoto quickly stood up, ready to launch another attack but Y/N held up a hand and Shoto instantly stopped. She laughed nervously, eyes darting down to his feet and Shoto followed, tipping his head forward to see what she was looking at. There just in front of his boots was the boundary line and he was on the wrong side of it.
His fists clenched tight at his side, nails digging into his palms. He had lost and all because he couldn’t control his own dammed quirk. Y/N looked at him apologetically, a sad smile on her lips and Shoto was reminded of her earlier words. A disappointment, that’s what she had called him. He had aimed to change that but here he was, a failure. She had wanted more from him, wanted him to beat her and he had been unable to do so.
Y/N lifted her arms above her head, lacing her fingers together and stretched. She moaned loudly, eyes fluttering shut and lips parting slightly. Shoto wanted to look, wanted to see the roll of her body but he didn’t deserve such a reward for his incompetence. Instead he set about melting all the ice he had left dotted around the field, making quick work of getting rid of it for the next person. He could feel Y/Ns eyes on him, watching him move around the field. It felt like a weight on his shoulders and for once he just wanted her to stop looking.
“Hey”. Shoto stilled at her gentle voice, her delicate hand landing gently on his shoulder. He didn’t turn to look at her, couldn’t stand to see the disappointment there. “Thank you”. Shoto’s head snapped to the side, eyes wide and failing to comprehend what she was saying. “What?” She smiled sweetly at his confused word, moving to stand between him and the half melted sheet of ice. “I said thank you. No offence to the others but that was the first fight I really had to work hard to win. I had fun and that’s because of you, so thank you for giving me that”. She sounded so sincere, a slight blush forming on her cheeks but she never looked away from him, her eyes determinedly staying on him.
Shoto wasn’t quite sure what he should do with that information. She had had fun because of him and that was good, had him tingling with satisfaction that he had been the first to make her feel that way. But the small cut on her lip and the dried smear of blood across her chin reminded him that he had hurt her and that left him feeling torn between guilt and elation. He wanted to reach out and touch it. Cup his hand over her cheek and swipe his thumb across the abused flesh but he was unsure if the action would be welcomed. He was unsure of so much now and he didn’t know how to correct that. Didn’t know where he stood with Y/N and how her interest in Bakugou would fit into whatever was happening between them. He didn’t even know if he could trust his quirk any more. He would have to talk to Aizawa when class was over, maybe even go back to some basic training to fix whatever had gone wrong.
“And I’m sorry for how it ended. I know that it wasn’t what you had hopped for but maybe next time yeah?” Y/Ns smile feel into a frown and when she spoke she sounded genuinely sad, if not a little guilty and Shoto couldn’t understand why. It had been his fault, she didn’t need to apologise for his lack of control. “Yeah” he managed to mumble, still confused as to what was going on.
She gave his shoulder one last squeeze before she let go, heading back to the middle of the pitch and leaving him to finish melting the last bit of ice. Shoto didn’t stop watching her as he let the flames consume the ice, melting it in a matter of seconds. She looked so at ease back out there, rolling her shoulders and stretching as she prepared herself for whoever was coming next. Shoto would guess that it would be Bakugou, Midoriya being left to last as he was the most powerful out of the class and would probably be the hardest one for Y/N to win against. “Bakugou, its’ your turn” Aizawa yelled.
With one last glance at the girl Shoto headed back to his seat, sinking down between Midoriya and Uraraka. At some point during his fight Iida had returned, looking tired but otherwise intact. “That was amazing Todoroki” Midoriya gushed, smiling brightly up at him and practically vibrating in his seat. “Thanks” Shoto murmured, unable to muster up any sort of enthusiasm. Frowning he looked down at his hands. He let his quirk burst to life, ice covering one hand whilst flames danced in his other palm. It all felt normal and as he willed them to move they did exactly what he wanted. There was no resistance, no acting out on their own. So what had gone on out on the field?
“Are you okay?” Midoriya asked tentatively for what felt like the hundredth time today. Sighing Shoto turned to look at his friend, offering the worried teen a small smile. “It’s’ nothing. Just having some issues with my quirk. Nothing some extra training won’t solve”. Midoriya frowned at him, gripping his chin and tilting his head to the side slightly. “What do you mean?” Shoto looked back down at his hands, flexing his fingers as he tried to find the correct words. “It was like they had a life of their own and I couldn’t control it. They kept doing things that I didn’t want to and I don’t know why”. Next to him Midoriya hummed before dissolving into mumbling. Shoto couldn’t keep up with it, only picking out odd words but he was used to his friend’s odd habits by now.
“Bakugou, let’s go” Aizawa yelled. Frowning Shoto leaned forward to look at the still seated blonde. The blonde frowned as he looked out to Y/N in confusion and she rolled her eyes at him, making a come here motion with both her hands. “Well? You coming or what blondie?” she demanded, looking at him expectantly. That seemed to get the blonde moving, snarling as he stomped his way across the field to her. Shoto wondered what had had the other teen so out of it that he hadn’t noticed his name being called. Normally he would be up and darting across the pitch before his name had even finished being called.
“Finally decided to join me then. Thought you were going to chicken out” she teased the blonde, smiling brightly even as he scowled at her. It was brave of her to antagonise him before their fight, the teen likely to be even more aggressive if he was annoyed but Shoto suspected that was what Y/N was trying to do. She wanted their best and she was prepared to do whatever it took to get it off them.
Bakugou took a threatening step forward, his fists clenched at his side as he yelled at the girl. “Ha! Like hell I would. Your perky arse is mine”. Y/Ns eyes widened at his words, along with Shoto’s and probably half the classes. “What did he just say?” Uraraka whispered next to him, sounding just as surprised as Shoto felt. Well that answered that then, Bakugou was clearly interested in Y/Ns assets.
The blonde blushed as he realized what he had said, clearly embarrassed about what he had let slip. It was a good look on him, the dark red on his cheeks almost matching his intense eyes. Y/N seemed to think so to if the wide smirk and look of amusement was anything to go by. “If you want it that bad all you have to do was ask” she winked at Bakugou, dragging her tongue over her lips then sucking the edge in between her teeth and biting down on it. Shoto felt the jealously rearing its ugly head again as she practically offered herself up to the blonde.
She continued to tease him, riling Bakugou up as she taunted him with the fact she had been stealing his food and not that he had been making it for her like Shoto had thought. Finally the blonde seemed to snap, demanding that she get on with it and fight him. Y/N looked bored with the prospect, having been enjoying the teasing and angry banter they had been having. “Fine, have it your way blondie. Just try not to disappoint me”. Her voice was cold as she spoke and Shoto wondered if faced with her disappointment Bakugou felt the same he had, like he failed her.
She lunged at him, moving so suddenly that Bakugou hardly had the time to dodge. Their fight was brutal, fast paced and explosive. It was hard to keep track of what was going on with the large explosions sending chunks of ground flying and dust clouds billowing through the air. She was being just as reckless as she had been with Shoto, jumping through explosions like they were nothing and he once again thought about the healing quirk but she had said no. It wasn’t her quirk but what did that even mean? If it wasn’t hers than how could she possibly be using it?
At some point Bakugou must of made the same assumption as he had, his attacks getting bigger and more dangerous, aiming directly at her and not seeming to care about the possibility of her getting hurt. Then suddenly the pitch went quite, the dust settling to reveal Y/N sat atop Bakugou, the teens chest pressed against the dirt and arms twisted behind him.
Midoriya gasped, hand darting out to clutch at Shoto’s arm as he leaned forward, a worried look on his boyish face. It always amazed Shoto that he still cared so much about the angry teen, even after everything he had been put through by him. Frowning Shoto turned his attention back to the two on the pitch, his eyes connecting with angry red ones. It only lasted a few seconds before Bakugou was screwing his eyes shut and clenching his jaw but Shoto had seen the panicked look in his eyes, the disbelief that this had happened to him. Bakugou was always so confident and to find himself being beaten was probably a large blow to his ego.
Y/N shifted, pressing her body tight against the other boys until she was practically laying on top of him. She lent in close, her face hovering next to his and then proceeded to lick across his sweat covered cheek. Bakugou’s eyes shot open and Shoto expected him to explode, quite literally at the action but instead he seemed to welcome it, gasping at the sudden contact. He had to wonder how often something like this had happened for the blonde to not care that she had licked him. If anyone else had tried to do something like that they would have got a rather large explosion to the face but not Y/N. No Bakugou liked it, that was clear enough but so did Y/N, moaning at the taste. Bakugou always smelt sweet, like burnt sugar so maybe he tasted like that to.
Shoto frowned as he watched them, Y/N grabbing his chin and turning it so he could look at her as they spoke. Shoto couldn’t hear what they were saying but he could see the smirk on Y/Ns lips and the blush on Bakugou’s cheeks. “Hey Jiro?” he asked, turning to look at the girl sat on the other side of Midoriya. Her eyes widened slightly as he called out to her but before he could ask for her to use her quirk she started to shake her head, a dark blush forming on her neck and cheeks. “No” she said flatly, refusing before Shoto had even had the chance to explain what he wanted.
Frowning he eyed her suspiciously. Her onyx eyes refused to meet his, instead darting towards Y/N and the ground, her ear cords seeming to twitch. Shoto’s eyes widened as he realised what was wrong, his own blush spreading across his cheeks. She had been asked to do that same thing when he and Y/N had been hidden behind the ice and she most likely had complied to the others request. That meant she had heard what Y/N had said to him, knew what he had been offered if he had won.
Panicking he darted his eyes down to Midoriya who had started muttering again, staring intently at whatever was happening on the pitch. Had she told them? Did the whole class now know what kind of things he wanted to happen between himself and Y/N. He looked back at Jiro, the panic probably clear on his face because her eyes widened before she started to shake her head. Shoto felt the relief crash into him, his shoulders sagging. He inclined his head towards her, mouthing a quick ‘thank you’. He would have to thank her properly latter, make sure she understood how grateful he was that she hadn’t gone blabbing to the rest of the class. It had probably been what Bakugou had been yelling about, getting annoyed with the girl if she had refused to tell him anything. Shoto was sure the other boy would have been able to guess what had been said between the two of them, just like Shoto could probably guess what Y/N was saying to him to get the normally unflappable blonde blushing and flustered.
A loud bang and a surprised cry had Shoto’s head snapping back round, just in time to see Bakugou scrambling to his feet and charging towards Y/N with an angry cry. He seemed angrier, his attacks getting bigger as he grew more reckless but Y/N didn’t seem to care, laughing as they danced around one another. Punches were thrown, kicks executed with precision and an almost constant cacophony of explosions raining down on them. Shoto could see they were yelling at one another as they fought, could see their lips moving but the sound of Bakugou’s quirk drowned out any words. Whatever it was Y/N was saying seemed to be making him angrier.
Her body glistened with sweat, just like Bakugou’s as they crashed together again. Bakugou threw her away from him, Y/N going with it and rolling across the ground only to dart back onto her feet and charge at the blonde. Shoto sucked in a breath as Bakugou lifted his arm, palm flat and his other hand curling around the pin on his gauntlet. Y/N was to close, unable to change direction but she didn’t seem to care, her smile just as wide as it had been for most the fight.
The explosion was loud as it ripped through the stadium, the force of it sending a large gust of wind slamming into the watching class. As Shoto turned his head, eyes half closed to protect them from the sting he could have sworn he could see a dark shadow move past the blond in a blur before another explosion came from behind him. Midoriya sucked in a breath, eyes widening as he lent forward and Shoto knew that Midoriya had figured it out. He knew what her quirk was.
As the smoke and dust cleared Y/N came into view first. She was stood motionless in the middle of the pitch, head held high and not a single scratch on her, even the split lip had gone. Bakugou growled, ready to launch another attack but Aizawa’s booming voice had him coming to a stop. Y/N relaxed, smiling widely a she pointed to her feet. Shoto’s eyes darted down, already knowing what he was going to find, what he didn’t expect was for Bakugou to drop to his knees, staring at the boundary line with a mix of disbelief and defeat.
He looked broken, knelt on the floor and just staring down at the smudged white line before him. Shoto couldn’t remember the last time Bakugou had lost a fight, his determination to be the best at everything driving him to stay at the top of the class. It would probably do him some good to learn a little humility but Shoto worried that it might break his fragile grip on his emotions first. “To bad, so sad, better luck next time” Y/N sing songed, shrugging her shoulders as if it was no big deal that she had just beaten the best in the class. It seemed a little cruel to rub his face in it like that but the blonde didn’t seem to hear her, staring at her in a daze.
Kirishima was the first to move, slowly making his way over to his friend’s side. “Come on man” Kirishima mumbled, slipping his arm around Katsuki and hauling him to his feet. Shoto watched as the blonde allowed the redhead to practically drag him back to his seat, the blonde dropping down into it with a huff. Instantly his friends were on him, chattering away and not seeming to care when he didn’t answer them.
“Midoriya” Aizawa said solemnly. Next to him Midoriya squared his shoulders, a look of determination about him as he pushed himself up of the bench. “Good luck Deku” Uraraka gave him a thumbs up and smiling brightly up at the green haired boy. Shoto expected him to return the smile but instead he nodded his head once and turned to stalk towards the waiting girl who was watching him in interest. “I hope he’ll be okay” Uraraka mumbled, frowning after their friend. “Midoriya has faced much harder foes before, this will be nothing for him” Iida said confidently and Shoto had to wonder who he was trying to convince, the girl next to him or himself. “Yeah your right. If anyone can beat her it will be Deku”.
Shoto wanted to agree with Uraraka, he really did but he had the distinct impression that Y/N had been holding back on them and Midoriya was about to call her out. It was likely the class was about to find out how lucky they had actually been.
“Well if it isn’t the leader of the welcome committee, ready to get your arse handed to you?” Y/N said teasingly as Midoriya came to a stop in front of her, his head held high and a determined glint in his eyes. “I know what your quirk is” he yelled and everyone seemed to suck in a breath, waiting for the green haired boy to answer. Shoto knew he had worked it out. If any of them were going to it would be Midoriya with his keen and astounding analytical mind.
Y/N laughed gently, running a hand through her hair, the light glinting off her bracelets. He leaned forward slightly, listening intently. Shoto had been wrong with his guess, as had everyone else and he desperately wanted to know. She had kept it hidden so well but finally the suspense was over, the secret out and hopefully he would have a better understanding of her once this was over.
Y/N shrugged, smiling at the green haired boy in amusement. “I knew you would, that’s why I saved you till last”.

“Well if it isn’t the leader of the welcome committee, ready to get your arse handed to you?” she said teasingly as Midoriya came to a stop in front of her, his head held high and a determined glint in his eyes.
Shoto leaned forward slightly, listening intently. He had been wrong with his guess, as had everyone else and he desperately wanted to know. She had kept it hidden so well but finally the suspense was over, the secret out and hopefully he would have a better understanding of her once this was over.
She shrugged, smiling at the green haired boy in amusement. “I knew you would, that’s why I saved you till last”. So Shoto had been correct, there had been no randomness to the order they went in. But why would Y/N want them to go in a specific order? It hadn’t been because of their capabilities because Koda had gone after Momo and though he was incredibly skilled with his quirk Momo was definitely the better fighter out of the two. It made little to no sense to him why they had gone in the order they did but Shoto knew there had to be a reason.
“What gave me away?” Midoriya fidgeted, eyes darting over to the crowd before levelling her with a hard look. “Todoroki-kun mostly but when I saw how you ended Kacchan’s fight I knew”. Bakugou was yelling down the other end of bench, demanding an answer but Y/N and Midoriya ignored him, neither of them even looking his way as Kirishima and Sero forced him back into his seat. Shoto though was confused. Y/N hadn’t ended the fight with Bakugou, his own explosion had been the cause. She hadn’t been anywhere near the blonde. So what had Midoriya seen that they hadn’t?
A few spaces down the bench Momo shifted, flinging her hair over her shoulder, the action catching Shoto’s attention out the corner of his eyes. Instantly he was reminded of a black shadow, darting past the blonde as his explosion erupted from his palm. Had that been her? Moving too quickly to be seen and hidden by his attack?
“Well aren’t you just a clever little bunny” Midoriya huffed at her condescending tone, fists clenched and taking a step forward in a rather adorable imitation of Bakugou earlier on. “It’s not a rabbit” he yelled angrily. Y/Ns smile got bigger as she gave him a knowing look, her eyes dragging across him. “Oh I know”. Midoriya took a step back, his eyes wide and a blush starting to stain his freckles cheeks pink. Shoto frowned as he eyed the two of them suspiciously. It was like they had had a completely different conversation, Midoriya taking something from her smug words that the rest of them hadn’t heard.
Sighing Y/N shoved her hand into her hair, tipping her head back and closing her eyes. Her skin glistened with sweat, droplets sliding down her face and neck and Shoto watched intently as they disappeared into the valley between her breasts. She was sweating a lot, her skin flushed in a way that Shoto had never seen before. Maybe it had something to do with her quirk but he hadn’t really noticed it all that much before apart from when she had been fighting Bakugou but it hadn’t been that bad. Shoto’s eyes followed a drop of sweat as it quickly slid down her arm and dropped off her finger tip.
“You know considering this is supposed to be the top hero school in the country your lot aren’t all that observant are you?” Y/N said critically and Shoto’s eyes shot up back to her face. She was looking at them through half lidded eyes, her head still tipped back and the sun shining down on her. She wasn’t smiling any more but she wasn’t frowning either. She just stared at them with a blank look on her face, cold eyes slowly roaming over them as she spoke. Shoto didn’t like it, the blank cold look that reminded him to much of a villain. It made him want to shy away, turn his gaze from her and not look back till he heard that sweet musical laughter again.
Y/N sighted, rolling her head as she tipped it forwards. She was still addressing the class as she spoke but her eyes locked onto Shoto’s trapping him in her gaze and he felt like she was talking directly to him. “You were all so quick to think something was going wrong with your quirks, that you were failing somehow. It never occurred to any of you that it was someone else using them against you”.
Shoto sucked in a breath at the implications. Next to him Uraraka gasped and a few others along the line did to, a dull murmur rising as they whispered to one another. So it had been her. The fire curling back on its self, the ice careening off in different directs. There was nothing wrong with his quirk or the control he had over it. “So I was right, your quirks the same as Monoma-kun’s?” Midoriya said glumly, frowning at Y/N as she sighed and turned her attention back to the green haired boy before her.
Shoto had expected her to have some sort of manipulation quirk, being able to control her opponent’s quirk to some degree but not that she was actually able to wield their quirks herself. All their fights had been so of balance because she was using their own quirks against them, timing her actions to theirs so they didn’t notice what she was doing and thought they were doing something wrong. It was a good tactic, using their lack of knowledge about her and her quirk to misdirect them, get them looking for other possibilities than the one right in front of them but it didn’t explain the healing. Shoto knew she could, the busted lip he had given her completely gone now and there was only one way for that to have happened.
“You know I thought the same thing when I first got here but after actually talking to the psycho it’s clear that he’s just not in my league” she said dismissively. Not in her league, what was that supposed to mean? Midoriya clearly shared Shoto’s confusion because his frown deepened, brows drawn and head tipping to the side slightly.
Next to him Uraraka shivered, leaning into his warm side as she wrapped her arms around herself. Frowning Shoto looked down at her, her hot breath noticeable in the air. Shoto hadn’t realised the temperature had dropped, his own quirk compensating to keep him warm but now as he looked around he could see the other members of his class in the same state as Uraraka, huddling together to keep warm. Bakugou had even allowed Ashido to lean into him, her head resting on his shoulder as she rubbed at her exposed arms.
It felt like when he let his ice reign free, mass amounts of it building up and causing the temperature to drop but he couldn’t see any ice. The sun was shining down on them and Y/N was still steadily sweating as she explained her quirk to all of them. Shuffling slightly closer to the other girl he wrapped his arm around her, pulling her tighter into his warm side and letting her snuggle down into the heat.
“He can go what fifteen, twenty minutes if he is really pushing himself? Possessing the same advantages and disadvantages of the original user and able to swap between four or five different ones. Its close but not quite like mine”. She sounded so smug as she dissected the other boy’s quirk only to disregard it entirely. Shoto wondered when she had found the time to have that sort of in-depth conversation with the sarcastic and over confident teen.
Shoto didn’t like Monoma. He always seemed to take an unusual amount of delight if anyone in 3A failed to accomplish something, disregarding how that may affect the person. It was cruel and uncalled for and the thought of him being compared to Y/N made Shoto feel a little sick. They were nothing alike and he wouldn’t stand for someone suggesting they were, even if that someone was his closest friend.
“But you do have to touch people right, to get use of their quirks” Midoriya was getting curious, the tone clear in his voice and it seemed Y/N was in the mood to indulge him. “You lot made it easy. You’re all so tactile and there’s so much skin on display. I’ve had my hands all over you and no one thought to ask why? Why would someone who has made it abundantly clear they don’t want to be touched suddenly be okay with it, encourage it even”. She turned to address the class again, her eyes lingering on the Kirishima and Momo and all the skin they had on display. Both of them were frowning, looking down at their outfits as if only really just seeing them for the first time.
Shoto thought back to the way Y/N had smiled so brightly, laughing as she placed her hand on Kirishima’s abs. Had that all been just for show, to distract the boy whilst she copied his quirk? The same with Momo. Had the hug and murmured words of reassurance just been an excuse to get skin on skin contact. Had that been all she had wanted from him when she was pressed against him, hands curled around his exposed arms?
Midoriya took a half step forward, fits raised slightly in front of him and jaw set in determination. “I won’t make the same mistakes they did and there is no one else out here for you to get your hands on” he yelled at her, the green flashes of his quirk dancing around him as he prepared himself for battle. He had the upper hand now as well as his brute strength and calculating mind. He would already have a strategy all planned out, a sure fire way to keep her away from him and knock her past the boundary lines. She wouldn’t stand a chance against him.
Slowly she turned back to him, a wide and dangerous smirk on her lips that showed of her teeth. She looked menacing, the atmosphere in the arena changing. Everything seemed to still, the sense of dread and unease wrapping around Shoto. Something bad was coming, he could feel it. “You think you have it all figured out, don’t you bunny” Y/N patronised, her smirk getting wider as Midoriya took a step back.
The ground seemed to shimmer slightly as Y/N took a step forward, the sound of something cracking as she lifter her foot. Suddenly the stadium got darker, the whole thing shimmering for just a second before it disappeared revealing a large ice dome above them, blocking out the bright sunshine and casting everything into a hazy darkness. Students gasped, some stumbling back and slipping on the ice that had suddenly appeared beneath them.
Midoriya staggered back, looking up at the ice dome in a mix of shock and horror. Shoto to stared up at it, his own surprise probably evident on his face. This was why it had gotten so cold, the thick sheet of ice spreading out from Y/N and climbing up the walls till it had no place to go but reach out to the other side. It had all happened right in front of them but had remained unseen until she had taken that step forward and broken herself free of the ices grip. Completely and utterly see through just like Hagakure was.
“You see I’m not limited like Monoma is. Twenty minutes and only able to hold four or five quirks at once, using one after the other? Pathetic” Y/N spat out the last word in disgust, her smirk twisting into a snarl. In a show of power her whole body burst into flames, the raging inferno swirling around her as sparks flew from her open palms, the explosions crackling and banging as they got bigger. A large groan came from above, echoing around the now enclosed space. “WATCH OUT!” Uraraka yelled, jumping to her feet and making to go to Midoriya’s aid but Shoto gripped her arm, keeping her in place next to him. The warning came just in time, Midoriya barley having time to jump to the side as large spikes of ice came crashing down from above and imbedding themselves into the ground where he had been stood just seconds ago.
Midoriya stood just inches away from the towering column of ice, eyes wide and chest heaving. He looked shaken, surprised at the sudden attack and probably reeling at the near miss. It didn’t bare thinking what would have happened if Uraraka hadn’t seen the attack coming. Y/N didn’t give him time to relax though, swing an arm up and sending a wave of fire racing across the pitch. She wasn’t aiming for the teen though, the fire curving and crashing into the column of ice. There was a loud crack as it was engulfed in flames before a series of loud bangs sounded and shards of ice went flying in all directions.
Someone was screaming as chunks came flying towards the watching class. Shoto didn’t think, throwing out his own arm and sending up a protective wall of ice around them all. As the falling shards of ice landed on the make shift barrier it began to crack, creaking under the force of the falling debris. Shoto’s heart was beating rapidly against his ribcage as adrenaline thrummed through his veins.
“DEKU!” Uraraka called, yanking herself free of Shoto’s grip and stumbling forward. Iida darted forward, grabbing her around the waist and holding her back as she tried to go to the other boy’s aid. Shoto exchanged a solemn look with the other boy before lifting his other arm and letting the fire quickly melt the ice. Midoriya had been so close to the ice, there was no way he had managed to avoid the attack without getting hurt. Shoto just hopped that they found him still standing on the other side.
Chunks of ice littered the ground, Y/N still stood in the same place but the fire completely gone. Midoriya was a few feet away, still standing but crouched down slightly and glairing. He was breathing heavily, his suit ripped in a few places and he had a rather large but shallow looking cut along his cheek. Uraraka sagged in relief, allowing Iida to move her back over the bench and sit her down. Shoto should sit back down to but he couldn’t seem to look away from Y/N.
She was smirking again, not a scratch on her. If it wasn’t for the sweat still steadily dripping off her Shoto wouldn’t even be able to tell she was in a fight. He watched as droplets dripped off her fingers, splashing against the ice still at her feet and seeming to freeze right into it. Realization dawned on him slowly and he turned to look at Bakugou to see if he had noticed to. The blonde was stood up as well, eyes narrowed as he glared at her hands, watching as the explosive sweat dripped down and fused with the ice.
Bakugou flexed his hands before curling them into tight fists at his side and storming back to his seat. It was a good attack and Shoto couldn’t help but wonder if they would be able to develop something along those lines. Shoto knew that he would find some sort of explosive ice quite useful against particularly annoying villains but he doubted the blonde would ever entertain the idea, let alone actually spend time seeing if they could make it happen. Sighing he sat back down, his attention returning the rather one sided fight that had seemed to come to a standstill already.
“There are certain…variables with my quirk but in the end it simply comes down to three simple factors. How long we touch, how much skin contact there is and how badly I want it”. As she spoke Y/N listed the things off on her fingers, happily chattering away at Midoriya as if she hadn’t just tried to kill him. “The length of time I have access to the quirks of those I have touched is determined by those things but if I hold on long enough and let go of my control what was once yours becomes mine permanently” She said it so matter-of-factly, like she hadn’t just admitted to being able to copy someone’s quirk indefinitely.
There were gasps and murmurs as the class began to discuss that new bit of information. Uraraka and Iida had leaned towards one another whispering but Shoto never looked away from Y/N. She looked sad, her brows drawn and her lips pulled down into a small frown. She had said that the healing wasn’t her quirk, was this what she had been referring to? It wasn’t hers but she had taken it from someone else and now it was.
There were so many questions Shoto had that he wanted to ask her. He wanted to sit next to her on the dorm sofa in the middle of the night, tea in hand and just talk to her. Find out why she seemed so sad about what her quirk could really do. To know if she took the persons quirk or if it was just a copy. He wanted to know how she found out she could do that but most of all he wanted to know her.
“I do have my limitations though” Y/N was looking at Midoriya seriously, the green haired teen staring back as he finally straightened up, that determined look back in his eyes. “I have faced nineteen of you but I have only taken thirteen peoples quirks. You already know what three of them are, are you ready to find out what the other ten are?” Thirteen? Thirteen quirks out of a class of twenty and that wasn’t even including to ones she could possibly already have. Including her own quirk and the healing that took her up to fifteen. She had shown she could use multiple at once but surly not fifteen.
Suddenly her confidence going into every fight seemed justifiable and Shoto actually felt worried for his friend. Y/N wasn’t going to hold back but neither would Midoriya. Someone was going to get hurt, the only question was how badly. Midoriya nodded taking up his starting stance whilst Y/N did the same, her smile back in place and looking gleeful at the fact she wouldn’t have to hold back any more. “Here comes number four” she teased, her legs tensing as she slipped into the same stance Iida took when he was about to make a run for it.
Shoto looked down, watching as Y/Ns calves expanded, the grinding sound of metal on metal echoing around the stadium before a series of loud pops like gunfire as twelve exhaust pipes pushed their way free of her body. Iida gasped probably as transfixed as Shoto was, watching the rivers of blood running down her legs and pooling on the floor. It was a gruesome sight, the chrome glistening with the red liquid, the whole thing looking like it belonged in a horror movie and not at a school training exercise. It must be painful, having your body change like that but Y/N didn’t seem to care or even notice, her smile not even so much as wavering.
“Think fast bunny” Y/N yelled, the engines in her legs roaring to life as she darted forward, then suddenly with a shimmer she was gone. The pitch fell silent, Midoriya on high alert as he franticly looked around him for Y/N. Shoto’s own eyes searched the pitch looking for any sign of her but it was like she vanished. There was no sound, no dirt being kicked up as she moved, not even a shadow. Suddenly the air shifted and she was there right in front of Midoriya, foot flying through the air and aiming for his face. He manged to jerk back, the tips of her to toes only just missing his jaw but she carried on moving, spinning on her other foot. Something large slammed into the other boy, sending him flying backwards, crashing into a wall of ice that had shot up to keep him from going any further. She had stopped him from going outside the boundary lines.
Midoriya quickly scrambled to his feet, scowling as he rubbed at a streak of dirt on his chin. “That’s five, just eight more to go”. As she spoke the air behind her shimmered and a thick tail came into view, swaying slowly behind her as if it was taunting him. She had used Hagakure’s quirk to hide Ojiro’s, keeping her attack hidden until she had used it. The tail swished through the air before curling itself around her leg and then disappeared once more. “Seven” Midoriya yelled, fists clenched and green lightening dancing around them. “Seven left to go”. Y/N gave him an amused look before she burst out into laughter, her whole body shaking with it.
“Such a clever little bunny” she teased, shaking her head as her laughter subsided into a soft chuckle. Shoto tried to wrack his brains for the other quirk she had used but he couldn’t recall seeing her use anything else so far but it seemed that Midoriya had. “Don’t call me that” he yelled, the green light wrapping around him as he pushed himself forward, leaping into the air. Y/N charged after him, engines roaring once more as she bound forward, leaping into the air.
By all means she should have quickly come crashing back down but her feet landed on solid ground. All around them chunks of the destroyed pitch floated up, Y/N leaping from one to another quickly until she was soaring through the air to meet Midoriya head on. There was a loud crunch as his fist slammed into her side but it was quickly followed by an even louder crackle and bang as Y/N set of a large explosion, sending the other teen hurtling towards the ground.
Shoto was up, ready to run to his friend’s aid and provided the slope of ice for him to slide down but suddenly about twelve feet from the ground he came to a stop, his body bouncing slightly as he hit what ever had caught him. “That’s six and seven. You keeping up?” Y/N yelled down at him from one of the still floating chunks of the stadium floor she was stood on. She was breathing a little harder, a flush covering her skin that Shoto expected was from more than just Bakugou’s quirk.
The spot on her stomach were Midoriya’s punch had landed looked odd and as Shoto lent forward, eyes narrowing he understood why. Her entire side was hardened like stone, small flakes braking off and falling to the ground beneath her. She had gotten in close to Midoriya on purpose, using Kirishima’s hardening quirk to limit the amount of damage she would take so she could get close enough the let off an explosion and send the teen plummeting to the ground below. Shoto was impressed at the level of control she seemed to have over their quirks, only activating them in the places she need them most.
Something by her elbows shimmered, the air distorting before snapping and in its place were two large cylindrical shapes protruding from her arms, just by her elbows. Tape streamed from both of them and Shoto followed it down, the white streams crisscrossing from one floating rock to the next, weaving a net that Midoriya now sat in. She was throwing everything at him, going out of her way to make sure the other teen didn’t get to hurt in the process. It was reassuring to know that she was showing such concern for the boy’s wellbeing. Shoto really didn’t think he would be able to forgive her if she intentionally set out to hurt his friend.
Huffing Midoriya easily ripped through the tape and dropped down to the floor, shooting Y/N an exasperated look. Shoto expected her to jump down and continue the fight but instead she stayed where she was, looking down at the other boy expectantly as she snapped the ends of the tape, letting them fall down to join the ruined net. When she still made no move to go back down Midoriya rolled his eyes, green lightning shooting across his legs as he jumped up towards her.
It was an exhilarating and nail biting show of power from then on, the two of them clashing again and again as they chased one another from rock to rock. Fire and ice burst across the space, electricity crackling as it shot across the sky like lightning and explosions raining down on them. Midoriya tried his best to avoid each attack but he wasn’t always quite quick enough. It didn’t help that she was always there waiting for him, another quirk at the ready.
It was fascinating watching her pair quirks up with others, making each one more effective. She seemed to have an understanding of how their quirks worked that Shoto knew couldn’t come from just watching them practice. He could maybe understand her knowing how his and Bakugou’s would work, probably having time to practice with them after all the times she had touched them, but the rest? As far as he knew this was the first time she had used anyone else’s quirks but it was almost like she had years of practice behind each one, knowing exactly how to use them. Even doing things with them that he had never seen their original users do.
Midoriya landed back on solid ground, barley missing the rain of acid bullets that she sent crashing down towards him. At the same time she sunk the earphone jacks into the ground, causing it to vibrate rapidly. His feet went from under him, unable to keep steady on the moving ground whilst dodging the acid. His sharp cry seemed to echo around the space, acid hissing as it burned through his clothes and skin. Y/N stopped instantly, gracefully jumping down from her perch above him. Quickly she pressed her finger tips against one another and everything came crashing back down around them.
“You okay?” she asked worriedly, sinking down next him on one knee and placing a hand on his shoulder. The whole class seemed to be holding their breath, watching Midoriya intently to make sure that he wasn’t seriously hurt. Uraraka gripped his arm once more, her nails digging in as she leaned forward. Midoriya’s eyes slammed open, his fist flying through the air and slamming hard into Y/Ns shoulder. There was a painful sounding crack as she cried out, flying across the pitch. A wall of ice shot up behind her, her body slamming into it so hard that the thing cracked and crumbled upon impact.
Shoto sucked in a gasp and jumping to his feet, panicking as she just sat there, slumped forward and unmoving. The attack had been so sudden, Midoriya talking them all by surprises by playing dead. It didn’t look like she had had time to activate Kirishima’s quirk before the hit had landed and he was worried that the cracking had been her ribs. As the seconds ticked by and she didn’t move his worry grew, moving closer to the boundary lines and contemplating going to her aid.
A scuffle from the other end of the benches had Shoto turning. Bakugou was on his feet, a murderous look in his eyes and practically growling. Kirishima had wrapped his arms around the other boy’s waist whilst Kaminari and Sero each had hold of an arm. They were holding him back, feet digging in as he tried to take a step forward. “Get the hell off me. I’m gonna kill him!” Bakugou roared, struggling against his friends. His palms were smoking a clear sign that he was trying to hold his quirk back, not wanting to hurt those closest to him.
There was movement on the pitch and Shoto turned, hopeful that it was Y/N finally awakening. Midoriya was slowly shuffling forward, a worried look on his face. He knelt down next to her, a trembling hand reaching out towards her as he called out her name, his voice cracking with worry. Shoto could see the tears welling in his eyes, threatening to spill over and run down his cheeks.
Just as his gloved hand brushed against her cheek Y/Ns eyes flew open, her hand shooting up to press against his stomach. The explosion sent Midoriya backwards, crying out as he skidded along the dirt. A dark shadow loomed large over them, curling up from the small of her back and pinning the other boy to the ground. “Is that a…dragon?” Uraraka asked, her voice laced with a mix of amazement and disbelief.
The relief Shoto had felt at Y/Ns sudden movement was short lived when he caught sight of the dark look on her face. Her lips were set in a thin line, chin up and staring down her nose at him. Well Shoto thought she was looking at him but it was hard to tell now that her eyes had been completely consumed in darkness. There were dark black veins surrounding her eyes, spreading out over her cheeks. She looked demonic, deadly even and all her attention was focused on the teen still pinned beneath the looming shadowy mass of a rather large dragon.
“That’s twelve, one left to go. Any guesses?” As Midoriya struggled the shadow dragon threw its head back, flams bursting from its open mouth as it roared. With a sight Y/N reached up, gently sliding her hand over the black trunk that connected it to her back. The thing turned to look at her, huffing and blowing smoke from its nose. If Shoto didn’t know any better he would say it looked annoyed but when Y/N smiled softly at it, the shadow seemed to relent. It turned back to Midoriya, growling and bearing its teeth before it let go of him, shrinking back to curl around Y/N. It nudged its head against hers before sliding down her back and seeming to sink back into her in a whisper of black.
The stadium was quite, everyone looking at Y/N. She was a mix match of other quirks, her body having altered itself to use them. She was still sweating, her chest heaving and the strain they were all starting to take on her obvious to Shoto. He wanted to tell her to stop, to just let it go but he had the feeling she wouldn’t. Not till she stood victorious or was finally beaten.
Groaning she rolled her shoulder, wincing as the joint popes. “Come on rabbit, surly you can’t be done yet?” Midoriya pushed himself up onto his elbows, his eyes slowly dragging their way up from the engine still protruding from her calves, across the tape dispensers at her elbows and over the aux cords dangling from her earlobes before settling on her still black eyes. Shoto knew that Midoriya was most likely assessing the quirks she had been using, trying to figure out what last one she still had to reveal but Shoto didn’t like it. His intense gaze dragging over every inch of her making Shoto feel more uneasy than he had when Midoriya had hit her for the first time.
When he didn’t answer Y/N huffed, clearly growing impatient. A patch of skin on her stomach began to glow, the familiar aspect of Momo’s quirk drawing everyone’s attention. Shoto was sure he heard her gasp, probably thing that Y/N would go for one of the more brute strength quirks just like Shoto had, maybe Sato or even Shoji’s quirk though the prospect of seeing Y/N with all those extra arms wasn’t very appealing.
Her hand gripped whatever she was making, pulling it free of her body before holding up for all to see. “The actual fuck!” Bakugou yelled, sounding as angry as ever as he got a good look at the little Ground Zero doll she had made, gauntlets and all. “Awww it’s cute” Uraraka said next to him and Shoto turned to frown at his friend.
He wasn’t jealous, no way on this Earth was he jealous of some little doll that looked like it had just come off a toy shop shelf. Why had she made one of him and not Shoto? Did it mean she liked the blonde more than him? “You’re a fan right?” She asked Midoriya, wiggling her fingers so it looked like the doll was waving at him. “Here, free of charge”. Midoriya fumbled as he tried to grab the doll she had thrown at him, almost dropping it as he shot up to catch it. He looked at it sceptical, turning it over in his hands and spotting the small wire loop of the pull string the same time Shoto did. He looked up at Y/N in confusion, a small furrow in his brow. She smiled gently, giving him an encouraging nod and a thumbs up, the black receding from her eyes as she did so.
She had called them to trusting and Midoriya was the worst out of all of them, always seeing the good until he was faced with the evil. He tugged at the string, letting it go once it was at its limit. The doll crackled to life, the voice robotic and static but with the unmistakable angry rumble of the blonde. “You make my heart go boom”. The silence stretched on for a few awkward seconds as it finished playing the voice, Midoriya staring at it like he didn’t know what to do with that.
The sound of static ended with a soft click a few seconds passing before the doll exploded in a cloud of orange and black smoke, the bang loud and jarring in the silence. Y/N darted forward, engines whirring as she moved quickly and disappeared into the cloud of smoke. Shoto couldn’t see what was happening but he could hear the loud cracks of explosions, the clouds lighting up with every bang. Green and yellow lightning lit up their shadows, showing glimpses of what was going on between the two of them.
There was a loud crunch, the ground rippling from the impacts and then a gust of wind slammed into them, blowing the smoke away and revealing the pitch once more. Midoriya was in the middle of the crater, pinned on his back with Y/N sat atop him. The shadow dragon was back but smaller this time, curved over Y/Ns back and holding Midoriya’s arms down with its front paws. She had her fist twisted in the front of his jump suit, holding his chest up off the ground and her other arm raised above her head, hand curled into a fist. But that wasn’t what held Shoto’s attention.
Her whole arm was covered in ice, spreading out over her curled hand and forming a long and sharp looking point. Shoto sucked in a breath, eyes as wide as Midoriya’s as she swung her arm down, aiming to drive the point into his face. “That’s enough!” Aizawa yelled, voice booming and commanding. Instantly Y/N stopped, the shadow dragon vanishing and the ice melting. She let go of Midoriya’s jumpsuit, letting him fall back onto the ground with an oomph as she pushed herself up onto her feet.
And just like that it was over.
Y/N moved to the side, brushing dust off her knees and arms before turning and offering her hand out to Midoriya in a wordless offer to help him up. He eyed it suspiciously and rightfully so. Huffing she rolled her eyes. “Stay in the dirt then, that’s fine by me” she snapped going to pull her hand away but Midoriya’s shot out, grasping her offered hand tightly and allowing himself to be pulled to his feet. She dropped his hand as soon as he was up, turning and walking across the pitch towards the rest of that class. Midoriya stared after her, the same look on his face that he got when he was analysing something. Quickly he scrambled after her, using his quirk to bound over the completely distorted pitch until he was next to her.
As they neared the edge of the pitch Y/N turned on the other teen, slamming her shoulder into his and pushing him back. Midoriya stumbled, tripping over his own feet and falling to the floor, landing on his ass with a groan on the opposite side of the boundary line to her. “I said enough!” Aizawa yelled again but Y/N just shrugged. “I wanted a solid twenty out of twenty” she remarked, smirking as she turned her attention back to the annoyed teen sprawled on the floor. “Oh come on. You can’t tell me you weren’t expecting it”. To Shoto’s surprise Midoriya laughed, collapsing back onto the ground and smiling like an idiot.
With her own chuckle and a shake of her head Y/N continued on towards Aizawa, accepting the bottle of water and protein bar he held out for her. She snatched them off of him, practically melting the cap off in her haste and eyes closing on a moan at the first touch of water to her cracked lips.
Now that she was closer Shoto could see how tired she looked, her body shaking slightly as she chugged from the bottle, draining it all in one go. As soon as she was finished Aizawa took the empty bottle from her and gave her a new one. “You over did it” he said flatly, glaring down at Y/N as she drank slowly from the second bottle. Pulling it away with a gasp, she looked up at him with a tired smile. “What’s a little blood boiling between friends”.
Shoto chocked on air at her words. Blood boiling? Oh god the sweat. She had probably used a mix of his and Bakugou’s quirks to raise her body temperature to make sure she would sweat so much, practically cooking herself from the inside out. How was she still standing? Surly her healing quirk wasn’t that good it would be able to counteract the effects of that level of heat? Aizawa’s frown deepened as she just struggled and practically ripped into the protein bar. She moaned loudly around her mouthful. “So good” she groaned, taking another bite and quickly devouring it.
Just like with the water he gave her another one and she took another bite but smaller. She must be trying to replace the energy she had exerted using all those quirks. As if suddenly reminded of them Shoot looked down at her blood smeared calves and the engines protruding from them. Her body had physically changed to accommodate some of their quirks so how would that affect her when her time with them ran out? Shoto assumes that with quirks like his and Bakugou’s they would simply just stop working but how would she get rid of the tape dispensers on her arms and a tail of all things? Would her body just shift back, or would they be forced out? Would the tail just fall off? It all sounded incredibly painful and Shoto didn’t want her to have to experience that on her own.
“Go get yourself sorted out” Aizawa instructed and Y/N groaned, shoulders slumping. “Fine” she grumbled turning and slowly trudging towards the changing rooms. As she went pass him she looked up, catching his eye. A soft smile tugged at her lips and Shoto felt his chest tighten. Even covered in dirt and scratched she still looked beautiful. He continued to watch her as she walked past the class, all of them eyeing her with a mixture of emotions. Her eyes flickered to Bakugou as she walked past but he refused to look up, waiting till she was well past him to lift his head and watch her disappear through the locker room doors with a small frown on his face.
“Now that’s over with I want six laps. No quirks”. There was a chorus of groans but they all got to their feet, trudging over to the edge of the stadium to start their laps. Following after his class mates Shoto stopped at Midoriya, Uraraka and Iida not far behind. “Are you okay Deku-kun?” Uraraka asked tentatively. Midoriya didn’t bother to move, not even opening his eyes as he waved a hand at them dismissively. “I’m fine, just going to stay here for a few minutes” he mumbled, sounding exhausted. Mumbling their understanding the three of them made their way to join the rest of the class, slipping into a gentle run.
People chatted around him, discussing the fights and the girl who had won them all but Shoto wasn’t paying too much attention, his mind decidedly stuck on Y/N. He had expected to understand her better once finding out what her quirk was but now he just felt even more lost. He had so many questions to ask but he didn’t even know where to start. On top of that he was fascinated by what she had done with his quirk and he desperately wanted her to show him how she had been able to get the flames to curl that way and his ice to be so precise.
He always preferred using his quirks in big sweeping movements and though he had used his ice to freeze specific things in the past he had never seen the point in tailoring an attack that could be just as affective on a small scale. That was until he had seen Y/N forming almost javelin like spikes of ice that she had sent hurtling towards Midoriya with surprising accuracy. Now faced with how someone else would use his quirk Shoto could admit that there was so much more he could be doing with them. It was just a shame that it was only happening in his last year at U.A.
At somewhere around lap four Midoriya joined them, nervously waving off the others concerns. They had finished their laps in comfortable conversation, the gentle chatter continuing into the locker room as they stripped down and washed of all the grime before getting dressed and heading back to the dorms. In a rare moment the class had seemed to stick together, all twenty of them heading back at the same time. Groups had formed, some made up of their normal circles of friends whilst others seemed to latch on to the person closest. It was nice, comforting even to see everyone getting along so well as they talked about today’s classes, though Y/N seemed to remain the main topic of discussion.
With a sigh Shoto looked up at the blonde ahead of him. Bakugou had his hands shoved into the pockets of his baggy trousers, bag slung over his shoulder and seemed to be slouching slightly. He wasn’t engaging with his friends who excitedly talked around him, seemingly not bothered by his lack of interest. He was frowning at his feet and Shoto couldn’t help but wonder what it was he was thinking of, though he suspected it was probably the same thing that had been plaguing his own thoughts.
Shoto didn’t quite know what to do about Bakugou and the obvious interest he had in Y/N. He had never had to complete over a girl before and he didn’t quite know the appropriate actions to take. He would have ask Uraraka latter what would be considered the right cause of action. Though knowing her she would probably tell him to just fight the angry blonde for the right to pursue the other girl. As if sensing Shoto’s eyes on him Bakugou’s head shot round, red eyes instantly finding his. They held each other’s gaze for a few seconds before the other boy huffed, sneering at Shoto before turning back to glare at his feet.
With a sigh Shoto resigned himself to just having to deal with it as best as he could. He was awkward and sometimes to blunt for his own good but Bakugou was rude and angry so Shoto considered them to be on even footing when it came to the pursuit of Y/N.
They were all still talking and laughing as they filed back into the dorm but it all seemed to die as they came to a stop in front of the communal area. Y/N was lead across one of the couches, one arm shoved between her head and the arm rest, her legs crossed at the ankles. She had changed clothes now in a pair of ripped black jeans, a black crop top and a black and red cheeked shirt that she had left open, the sleeves rolled up to her elbows. She looked perfectly at ease, lead out across the couch and perfectly normal to boot, all signs of the others quirks completely gone. Well almost.
She was staring up at the ceiling, watching as she threw up a ball of ice. As it fell back down against her palm it was engulfed in flames, the fireball being thrown up in the air only to freeze solid as it connected with her palm again. Shoto watched, transfixed at the almost seamless switch from fire ball to ice ball as she continued to throw it up into the air. “You know it’s considered rude to stare right”. Her clipped voice seemed to snap them all out of there trance, some mumbling apologies but Bakugou was the first to actually address her.
“What the fuck you doing here?” He growled, glaring daggers at the reclining girl. Around him people complained, Kirishima telling him how unmanly that had been and Iida calling him rude while Hagakure demanded he apologise. Y/Ns lips twitched as a small smile started to form, a look of relief seeming to pass across her face. As the fireball fell back into her palm it fizzled out in a series of small cracks and pops of a tiny explosion, her fingers curling in to snuff out the last few sparks. Slowly she swung her legs round and sat up, stretching her arms above her as she did so.
She smiled gently at Bakugou, looking up at him from under her lashes. “I do live here” she said teasingly and the blonde huffed, folding his arms across his chest defensively. “Funny because I don’t remember seeing you before” Bakugou grumbled. That was a lie. Shoto knew he had seen her and quite a few times at that, so why was he acting like he hadn’t? Y/N raised an eyebrow at him, giving him a look as if to say ‘really’.
With a huff of amusement, Y/N got up, leaning forward to grab a small tumbler of ice water off the table as she did so. “My mistake” she said casually as she headed towards the stairs that would take her up to the bedrooms. “Wait” Midoriya called out next to him, taking a step forward as if he was going to grab for her. Y/N stopped turning back to look at the other boy expectantly. He laughed nervous, eyes falling to the fall as he rubbed at the back of his neck. “You erh look good. I mean normal. I mean you look like your back to normal” he stuttered out, a blush covering his freckled cheeks.
She tipped her head forward slightly, arms held out a little from her side as she looked at her own body. Shoto took the opportunity to do the same, eyes lingering on all the still exposed skin. It was considerably less then she had been showing on the field but still more than he was used to seeing her in and somehow seeing her comfortable enough to be in her normal clothes made it all that much better.
“It would appear so” she deadpanned, glancing back up at Midoriya with a small smirk on her lips. If at all possible Midoriya blushes even more, looking at his feet and mumbling. “Though you still have some of our quirks” Momo stepped forward as she spoke, moving to sit on the recently vacated couch. She patted the seer next to her, smiling brightly at Y/N who was looking at her in a mix of shock and horror. Shoto got the feeling that she didn’t get asked to stick around a lot. That people tended to want her as far away from them when they found out what her quirk was. He couldn’t blame lesser people from doing so, probably scared of what she could do but he knew that Y/N wouldn’t find that attitude here.
Hesitantly she made her way back over to the couch, sitting as far away from Momo as she could and looking at her like she was expecting the other girl to bolt as soon as she sat down. “For the most part I was able to time it so the majority stopped about ten, twenty minutes after class finished but some of us had rather...prolonged contact so they are still knocking around. Though give it an hour or two and I’ll just be little old me again”. As she spoke she glanced towards Shoto, their eyes meeting briefly before darting down towards Bakugou and he knew she was referring to the considerable amount of time she had spent pinned against the two of them.
Leaning forward Shoto looked towards the other boy, he was scowling but the slight pink blush on his cheeks was undeniable. Kaminari was wiggling an eyebrow suggestively at him, nudging the blonde in the arm with his elbow. Shoto was surprised Bakugou hadn’t yelled at him yet, though he expected it would happen soon enough if the other boy didn’t stop.
“How did you know where I was?” Hagakure blurted out, pushing past Sero and Kirishima to get to the front of the crowd. She quickly bounded over to the sofa, sinking down between the two girls and turned to face Y/N who was fiddling with her glass, watching the clear liquid slosh around the clinking ice. “When we were fighting I got the impression you knew exactly where I was. I thought it had something to do with your quirk but now I know I was wrong so I’m a little confused”.
Though Hagakure spoke softly Y/N looked like she was bracing for some sort of blow and clearly uncomfortable with the other girl being so close. Shoto had to fight the urge to go over to them and shove the invisible girl away from her, demanding that she give Y/N some much desired space. “Well only half wrong” Y/N mumbled, still staring at her glass.
With a sigh, she brought the glass up to her lips and knocked back its contents before leaning forward and placing it on the table. When she sat back she turned to look at Hagakure, staring at the place where the girl’s eyes would most likely be. “I suppose you could say that I could sense you. Each quirk gives off a unique aura that I can connect with. I can normally gage what someone’s quirk is and how powerful it’s going to be just by looking at them and If I spend enough time around someone, say three weeks, I get to a point where I can recognise them from it. Know exactly who’s coming round the corner before I even see them”.
As Y/N had spoken, many of his class mates had moved, crowding onto the remaining seats or sitting on the floor. Ashido had wedged herself in beside Momo and Hagakure, whilst Midoriya, Iida, Uraraka and Asui had taken over the other couch. Shoto wasn’t the only one who had remained standing, Bakugou, Shoji and Tokoyami hovering around the edges of the group. It was rare to see the whole class crowded into the common space all at once but it seemed everyone was interested in the slowly unravelling mystery that was Y/N and Shoto couldn’t really blame them. He was just as hooked and desperate to find out more.
“So you can see her? Her quirk I mean?” It was Ojiro who spoke, having sat on the floor not far from Hagakure. It was a well-known fact that he liked the invisible girl and now that there was someone who could potentially tell him, all of them, what the girl looked like he was hooked on every one of Y/Ns words. She didn’t look away from Hagakure as she spoke, maintaining what Shoto now knew was most likely actual eyes contact. “Not in huge detail, just an outline really but yes I can see you”. The air stilled every one watching as Y/N lifted a hand and gently brushed her fingers across nothing. Hagakure gasped, jerking back from what had most likely been a brush of delicate fingers across her cheek. Y/N smiled softly, chuckling at the other girl’s reaction.
A loud beeping sound came from the kitchen and everyone turned to see where it was coming from. Cursing Y/N quickly got up off the couch and darted for the oven, snagging the cloth off the side as she went. She turned everything off as she yanked the door open, sighing in relief at what was inside. The smell of freshly made bread filled the air as she turned back to the counter, a tray of identical little golden brown balls lined up on it.
“Erm what’s that?” Kaminari asked, head poking up so he could get a good look. He reminded Shot of a meerkat, pushed up on his knees and eyes wide as he peered over the sofa. Smiling Y/N started plucking the still hot buns off the tray and placing them on a rack, not bothered by the fact they must be burning her fingers. She looked happy as she stared down at her baking and Shoto couldn’t help but imaging stepping up behind her to wrap his arms around her waist, chin hooked over her shoulder as he watched what she was doing. It was a rather domestic fantasy but appealing none the less.
“Well I figured you guys were probably a little tired and as it’s kind of my fault I thought I would help out and make dinner” she called over her shoulder as she turned toward a large pot on top of the stove, stirring its contents. Now aware of the food Shoto could smell it. Rich and homely, his stomach rumbling at the prospect of food. Whatever it was smelled delicious and Shoto couldn’t wait to try it. He had never seen Y/N cook before, always seeming to be eating Katsuki’s leftovers and to find out she could cook was a rather welcomed surprise. Shoto was useless when it came to cooking, struggled even boiling an egg but maybe he could convince Y/N to give him some lessons. Who knows, she may even take pity on him and decide to cook for him instead.
Placing the lid back on Y/N turned back to the class. She was looking down and Shoto could see her fiddling with her bracelets. He would say she looked nervous, refusing to meet anyone’s eye but why? Even in her moments of hesitance she always charged head on into it and any when else she practically oozed confidence, making Bakugou seem practically humble sometimes and that was something.
Seeming to have psyched herself up Y/N looked ahead determinedly. “It’s also an apology”. Shoto was confused by her statement. What did she have to apologise for? The battles had been gruelling for some but it was expected at practice, she didn’t need to apologise for making them work. Sighing she moved round to the front of the counter, hands gripping the edge as she leaned back against it. “It’s been brought to my attention that my social skills are actual garbage but in my defence I’ve never spent any time with people my own age so I’m not exactly grate at this”. She said it so sorrowfully, her eyes slowly dragging across the entire class but Shoto felt them linger on him and he worried that maybe she regretted all those times she invaded his personal space. He hopped not.
“Didn’t you spend time with anyone at your previous school?” Uraraka asked curiously as she turned to kneel on the sofa, leaning against the back so she could look at the other teen. Y/N frowned, head tipped to the side slightly as she answered the other girl. “This is the first school I’ve ever attended” she deadpanned.
There was a beat of silence before the whole class erupted into a loud choice of questions. “What!” “How?” “That’s impossible”. Shoto didn’t take his eyes off Y/N as everyone yelled questions at her, watching her shoulders rise and fall as she let out a sigh. She looked tired, bags under her eyes and her skin slightly paler looking than normal. She had placed herself a good distance away from everyone else and he knew it had been on purpose, most likely craving distance from all the overly tactile students put also trying to keep her exhaustion as unnoticeable as she could.
Once again he was struck with the urge to wrap his arms around her, tucking her smaller frame into his protective hold. He would let her sleep against him, holding her tight the entire time. Shoto didn’t even realise he had moved, taking sure steps towards the girl until Iida’s flailing hand smacked into his stomach. His friend quickly apologised, hands chopping in the air whilst Shoto assures him it was fine, resisting the urge to rub at the sore spot on his abdomen. There was no sense in making the boy feel worse than he already did.
“My father had a rather set idea of my upbringing so he had me home schooled” Y/N said dismissively, shrugging her shoulder. Shoto had been home schooled by his father but that had only been in regards to his quirk. He had still had to go to school, still had to learn the National curriculum. He couldn’t imagine what it would have been like to have been taught everything at home by his old man. Probably would have ended up a lot colder and detached than he had been.
“How’d you end up here then?” Y/N seemed to still at Sero’s question, her body tensing and Shoto would have sworn a look of panic flickered across her face. “My father had to go away for a bit and my guardian knows some of the teachers here so they agreed to take me”. It was a vague answer, stating the bare minimum without really giving any details. Though Shoto didn’t think she was lying she was definitely hiding something.
“Wow that’s amazing. To get into here without any formal training and in the last year to boot” Kirishima gushed, perking up from his spot on the floor and giving Y/N a wide and toothy smile. His enthusiasm was infectious and Y/N returned his smile with one of her own, the tension seeming to melt away. “What wasn’t amazing was having to cram your guys last two years of school into a month” she said playfully, all the worry and panic from just moments go gone.
There were a few murmurs, a lot of confused glances thrown Y/Ns way as they waited for some sort of explanation. “Nezu wouldn’t let me in unless I took all the exams and proved I was capable enough so I spent the month before classes started taking every shitty exam, appraisal and work shop you guys have” she sounded a little bitter about that and Shoto couldn’t really blame her. He knew that she would have to have taken some sort of exam to get in but making her cram in so many in such a short amount of time was a little harsh.
He wondered if that was why she seemed to dislike Aizawa so much. He was probably the one who oversaw her exams as she would be coming into his class but he wasn’t known for going easy on his students and Shoto doubted he would have changed that attitude for Y/N. In fact Shoto would bet money on the older man being even harsher on her to push her to their level. Though her display in class today suggested that it was them who needed to get on her level.
If she had gone through so much effort to get accepted into the school why had she spent the last three weeks acting as if she would rather be anywhere else but here? “That’s harsh” Ashido commiserated and Y/N hummed, nodding her head in agreement. “Don’t I know it” Y/N mumbled, scowling at the floor.
“Any way” Y/N said suddenly, pushing away from the counter and taking a few quick steps forward. “The stews ready but if you leave it on low it will simmer away until you guys are ready to eat and there is fresh bread on the side and a Victoria sponge in the fridge if you want desert” she pointed at the various things as she spoke, heading towards the stairs the whole time. It seemed she had had enough of all their questions and was egger to get some distance between them all.
“You’re not going to eat with us?” Momo frowned as she turned to look at Y/N but she was already shaking her head, a wide smile on her lips but it didn’t quite reach her eyes. “I actually already had some. I burned a lot of energy out there today so I had to shovel food into me before I passed out”. She laughed nervously, patting her exposed stomach. She spun on her heals, quickly making her way over to the stairs. “Enjoy” she yelled, waving at them over her shoulder and then she was gone, bounding up the stairs and disappearing from sight.
“Awww she’s gone” Kaminari whined, actually looking sad for a second but then he was moving, scrambling up and darting over to the pot still on the stove. “Oh man this looks good” he said excitedly, lifting the lid and sniffing at its contents. “Her departure was rather sudden” Momo mussed, a gentle frown on her lips. “What the hell you extras expect when you crowded her like that” Bakugou yelled angrily, eyes narrowed and glaring at Momo. Shoto hadn’t realised he had gotten so close, the blonde seeming to have moved toward Y/N as well. “Clearly she was exhausted and you assholes just kept hounding her. It’s no wonder she ran off the first fucking chance she got”.
So Shoto hadn’t been the only one to notice then. The blonde always seemed so detached and uninterested when it came to others, especially their emotions so it was a surprise to see him actually be the one to bring it up. He wasn’t like Shoto who was just dense and struggled to understand what people were feeling. Bakugou knew what people were feeling and just chose to ignore it. “Oh I didn’t realise” Momo frowned down at her feet clearly upset that she had somehow made the other girl uncomfortable.
“I had hoped to get the chance to discuss her dark shadows appearance” Tokoyami said seriously, Uraraka and Ashido agreeing with him. It seemed Shoto wasn’t the only one who wanted to know about what she had done whist in possession of their quirks. Y/N had probably escaped at the right time. If she had stayed any longer she would have been bombarded with questions well into the night.
Sighing Shoto decided that he too was done for now with his classmates. He wanted a shower and to just collapse back onto his bed for a few hours. Midoriya would make sure there was food left for him so he could just come back down in a few hours when the majority of the class had returned to their rooms. He said a quick and quite goodbye to his friends, shrugging off their concerns when he explained he was tired. “Whatever I’m out of here” Bakugou grumbled as Shoto walked past and suddenly they were next to each other, heading in the same direction.
Bakugou growled at him, glaring at Shoto though the corner of his eyes. “Bastard” he grumbled in way of greeting and Shoto rolled his eyes at him. It was amazing how much hostility the blonde could put behind one word. “Blondie” he snarked back, smirking as Bakugou’s eyes widened and a blush spread across his cheeks. That was interesting. Clearly that was Y/Ns chosen nickname for him and if she said it in the same sort of tones that she used on Shoto it probably made the other boy think of rather inappropriate things. He would have to try it next time they were sparing. Whisper it in his ear and see if he could get the angry teen to falter.
“Shut up” he grumbled, hands shoved in his pockets and glaring at his feet. That was a rather lacklustre comeback if Shoto had ever heard one. Silently they trudged up the steps next to one another. It was awkward, neither of them really know what to say to the other but what could he say? It was out there now that they had both been sneaking around with the same girl, both had some sort of feelings for her to and she had told Shoto that she was interested in both of them. So where did they go from here? They competed enough in class as it was but now would they have to compete over the object of their affections as well, until one of them came out victorious.
This was all conjecture. Y/N might not even want that kind of relationship with either of them, might not want any kind of relationship. From the way she acted Shoto suspected she wouldn’t say no if he propositioned her but Shoto didn’t just want a physical encounter with her. Not that he wouldn’t be interested in that aspect of a relationship with her but he wanted it as a part of a whole.
He changed a glance at the boy next to him, eyes roaming across his angular features. What did Bakugou want from Y/N? From his display downstairs Shoto expected he was in the same situation as he was. Wanting an actual relationship from the girl and not just sex. They wouldn’t both be able to have that though so one of them would end up getting hurt. Shoto could only hope that the pain didn’t last for long.
“There you are”. Shoto and Katsuki came to a stop at the top of the stairs, both of them looking up at Y/N with surprise. She was smiling sweetly, leaning against the wall with her arms crossed over her chest and one foot pressed flat against the wall behind her. She looked the perfect picture of casual innocence, like butter wouldn’t melt in her mouth but Shoto knew better.
“I thought I was going to have to wait all night” she said, tone teasing as she pushed herself away from the wall and slowly started to walk down the hall towards them. “What the hell do you want?” Bakugou growled and Shoto darted his eyes over to him, not surprised to find the blonde tensed and sneering. “Today was...fun” Y/N said the last word with a hint of uncertainty, like she didn’t know if that was the correct word to be using. “I thought I would extend the offer of sparing to you two. Could probably learn a lot”. Shoto could feel his eyes widen at the offer, not having expected anything from her than some sort of rude and slightly inappropriate remark about what she was going to do whilst she still had use of their quirks.
“Ha! You expect us to teach you after how much of a little shit you’ve been” Bakugou barked, the amusement clear in his voice. Y/N came to a stop just in front of them, her head tipped forward slightly and letting out a small huff of laughter as she shook her head. She looked up at them, her smile wide and eyes gleaming with amusement. She reached up, placing a hand on each of their cheeks. Shoto sucked in a breath at the sudden shock of cold onto his warm skin and it took him a few seconds longer than it probably should have to realise it was his ice quirk that was making her skin cold, just like it did to his right side. “I wasn’t talking about me”. She pattered their cheeks before she let her hands fall and slipped between the two of them.
They both turned to watch her as she started down the stairs. “Offers still there if you change your minds”. She turned to look at them as she spoke and like idiots they just stood there. Shoto was still unsure what was actually going on, couldn’t quite wrap his head around the bold interaction after weeks of brief and secret meetings that had left him thinking he had imagined half of them. “You never know, maybe next time I’ll let you be on top” she teased, winking at them before she disappeared out of sight. The two of them just stood there, staring after her and Shoto could only assume Bakugou was as dumb struck as he was. “Fuck” the blonde mumbled and Shoto couldn’t have put it better himself.

"I love you."
{Overview: You say "I love you" for the first time.}
{Type: headcannons}
{Characters: Midoriya, Bakugo, Todoroki.}
[[A/n: I'm trying out a new kind of style for my posts. I made the little picture things to make it look a little more fun and eye catching. Tell me what you guys think? Does it look ok? I figure it looked s bit better than just block text?]]
Tumblr media
It happened during one of those softer moments you two shared.
It was late, and you were alone together, cuddling on his bed after a hard day.
It was peaceful and Bakugo was on the verge of sleep when he heard your whisper those sweet words under your breath.
"I love you."
His eyes shot open and he was met with your flustered face staring back at him in shock.
You thought he had been asleep.
"What did you just say?" He asked you as he stared right into your eyes.
He was in disbelief (not that he'd ever admit to it)
He watched as you squirmed around from your position on his chest, you hid your face by shoving it into his torso.
"I-I said, I love you! I-I thought you were asleep! I'm sorry if it's too soon! I know we've only been dating a few months-"
Your voice was drowning out as the sound of his own pounding heartbeat filled his ears.
You loved him.
His eyes slowly got wider and the blush on his cheeks growing more and more with each second that you rambled on.
He placed a hand on your shoulder and made you look up at him.
He heard you suck in a breath as you made eye contact.
You were, surprisingly, even more red than he was.
He grabbed your chin between his thumb and index finger before pulling you closer, your noses brushed together.
"Say it again." He whispered, a lot softer than before.
He didn't realise until that moment how much he had been longing to hear you say those words.
"I love you."
For once, he didn't even try to fight back the smile that made its way to his lips.
It was a cocky smile, but a smile nonetheless.
He brought you into his arms, squeezing you tightly as he buried his face into your neck.
It was one of those hugs that made you feel safe, it was filled with emotion as he cradled you in his arms.
He held your head in one of his hands as he pressed a firm kiss on your cheek.
He bit his lip as he tried to force the smile away.
What had you done to him? He probably looked like such an idiot right now.
Three simple words from you had made him the happiest guy in the world.
His hands clenched up at the overwhelming amount of emotions he felt.
He had never experianced anything like this.
You pulled back from the hug just so you could stare into his eyes again and that was when he realised he should probably say it back.
He tensed up at the thought and huffed, his cheeks were burning as he turned his head away from you.
It was so Damn embarrassing!
He tried to say it back but instead all that came out was;
"Good! And so you should!"
He heard you laughing at his response, it confused him but he was glad you were pressuring him to say it back.
You knew better than anyone that it wasn't going to be that easy for him.
You said a quick goodnight before pecking his lips and slowly falling asleep on his chest.
He, however, was wide awake now.
He stayed awake for hours after, petting your hair softly as he watched your peaceful sleeping face.
His mouth still ghosted a smile as he replayed those words over and over in his head.
"What a dumbass..." He huffed softly through his nose as he brushed the hair away from your forehead and pressed a kiss to it.
You were too Damn good for him.
"I love you too" he whispered into your ear, "I really, really do."
Tumblr media
You two were out at the hero's museum when it happened.
He was off on his rambles again, talking about each hero and how he admired them all in a different way. (You didn't even have to read the plaques, you practically have your own tour guide!)
He was in his zone and you couldn't help but admire how cute he was.
His hand was firmly gripped onto yours as you walked beside him, listening to every word.
After awhile, he noticed you were staring at him with a love struck gaze and a big goofy smile on your lips.
He immediately got embarrassed and sunk his face into his jacket.
"What is it? W-Was I talking to much again?"
You shake your head and he watched as you took a step forward, brushing some stray hair behind his ear before meeting his big green eyes.
"No. I was just thinking about how much I love you."
There it was.
He sucked in a deep breath as you had knocked all the oxygen out of his lungs.
Subconsciously his hand tightened around yours as his heart filled with this unknown feeling, it felt like he was about to explode.
What this what it felt like to be madly in love with someone?
He barely held back the small whimper of joy as his heart clenched in his chest.
You loved him?!
You really loved him!?
He pressed his hand over his heart. Trying to calm it down.
His face was burning so much he thought he might faint.
You made his legs go weak as your words struck him right through the heart.
You're too cute.
"I-i-i love you too!!" He squeaked out in embarrassment, it didn't help that you two were in public either.
He wished he could've said it back as sweetly and confidently as you had but it only came out rushed and embarrased.
He heard you giggle happily at his reaction before placing a kiss on the top of his head.
"So what were you saying about this hero?"
He tried his best to act like nothing had happened, like it wasn't such a big deal to him.
But he couldn't.
He could barely speak afterwards, his mind was too preoccupied with replaying those words in his head.
It was safe to say he had successfully embarrased himself several times by stuttering over his words and walking into things.
It was like he was in a dream induced daze for the rest of the day.
He was just glad his legs were still functioning.
The poor boy really hadn't been ready.
Even after your date ended and he walked you home, all he could think about was how you had said it with such confidence!
It was so sincere and it had melted his heart right to the core.
At the end of the day he collapsed onto his bed, pushing his, still burning red, face into his pillow.
"They love me.." he whispered happily, tears pricking at his eyes.
He was so happy, he felt like the luckiest guy in the world.
There's a 100% chance that he was going to think about that moment every second of every day for at least the next 3 weeks.
Tumblr media
He hadn't been in a particularly good mood that day.
He was quieter than usual and kept his distance from everyone.
Of course he didn't expect anyone else to notice since it wasn't any different from how he usually acted.
But it was made clear to him that you had caught on after awhile.
After dinner, he sat up in his dorm room and as soon as he heard a knock at his door he knew exactly who it was.
He let you in and instead of doing what he thought you would, and questioning him about his behaviour, you surprised him by simply trying to take his mind off whatever it was that was bothering him.
You took him out for a late night walk in the park which really helped clear his head.
There was nothing more relaxing than holding your hand in his as you wandered around the lake.
It was peaceful.
Just the two of you and the moonlight that was shimmering on the lakes surface.
Todoroki was more than thankful for your presence, you were able to take his mind off all his sorrows.
You complimented him for no reason, talked about his interests and asked how he was doing lately. You even cracked a few terrible jokes in hopes of getting a smile out of him.
It was perfect, even if he couldnt understand your strange sense of humour.
As curfew rolled around you made your way back to the dorms, the common room was dark and empty as you had expected.
Just as he was about to bid you goodnight you pulled him into a, unexpected, tight hug.
Not being used to the affection it took him awhile to relax into it.
He placed a hand on your back.
He was unsure if it was the right thing to do but you didn't push him away so he assumed it was fine.
You looked up at him with a big grin, your eyes shimmering with sincerity.
And that's when you said it.
"I don't know what you're going through and if you don't want to talk; you don't have to. But you know should know, I will always love you now matter what!"
There was a long silence.
His lips parted slightly as he stared down at you, taking time to process your words.
It took him awhile to realize what you had just said to him.
He couldn't believe it and he was tempted to ask you to repeat yourself so he could hear it again.
His heart was pounding in his chest, he wasn't used to this- he didn't know what to do.
He felt his cheeks involuntarily heating up.
Was this normal?
It felt like you had cast some sort of spell on him. That was the only way he could describe it.
His words got caught up as a lump formed in his throat.
He did his best to swallow it down but, hearing someone he cared so much about saying they loved him, it was more than he could handle.
How long had he waited for a moment like this to come?
He had been craving for love and affection for so long, and now you were here.
His angel, his reason to smile.
"I-.."
You pressed a finger to his lips to shush him.
"You don't have to say it back, I know it's not easy for you. I just wanted you to know."
His usually cold eyes softened as he stared down at your beautiful smile.
He removed your finger from his lips, holding your hand in both of his much larger ones.
He slowly leaned down and wrapped both arms tightly around your waist. Pulling you into his chest and he pressed his face into your hair.
It surprised you, and even himself.
He rarely initiated the affection in the relationship, and yet here he was. Practically clinging to you.
His body had reacted before his brain could, but it felt right.
It felt right to have you in his arms right now.
His heart was so full of love for you.
He wanted to say it back. No. He had to say it back.
It was the truth. He was in love with you, and there was no denying that.
He released a shakey breath as a single tear slipped down his face from all of overwhelming happiness he felt.
"I love you too, more than you will ever realize."

Childe, Diluc & Kaeya - when you call them by a cute nickname
Childe
Childe would cover his blushing face with his hand, a laugh escaping his mouth as he’d tell you how adorable you were.
He’d take a moment to compose himself before he’d wrap his hand around your waist, his face beaming with unbridled happiness. Is this how you call him now? Are you two already at that stage of your relationship? How can you be so cute and not know it?
He’d pull you into a tight hug, his arms locking you into his embrace, pressing you you against his body. Your head is laying on his chest, and you can hear his heart beating so fast, as if it was about to jump out and swallow you whole. You lingered in his arms, taking in his scent, reveling in his warmth until his hug felt so tight that it sucked the air out of your lungs. You gasped for air as you tried to pull away to gain some room to breathe.
“You call me like that and now you are trying to pull away, y/n? Don’t you think this is a little bit cruel?”, he’d pout as he’d loosen his hug, his hands still locked on your waist, unable to let go.
He’d lean in to press a long kiss on your forehead, a kiss so warm and full of love that it sent a wave of goosebumps down your body.
“I never want to let you go, y/n” he’d whisper against your skin, pulling you again into another loving hug.
Diluc
The first time he heard you saying that, he literally froze in place, a slight blush creeping on his cheeks, trying to process what has just happened. He’d try to play this lapse of concentration off, continuing to talk to you as if nothing happened, but only one thing would be on his mind for the rest of the day: the way you called him.
He’d try to make you call him like that again, but he would be lamentably embarrassed to tell you what he wanted straight away, and, instead, he’d be extra loving, extra attentive, trying to squeeze that sweet word out of you once again. However, to his dismay, all of his indirect approaches failed miserably.
Eventually, he managed to do it.
You two were cuddling on his couch, your legs wrapped around his torso as you were snugly sitting in his lap. You’d feel his burning lips tracing your collarbones, his tongue poking out against your skin as you leaned your head back, leaving him more space to continue. He’d gently start to nibble on your skin, going up your neck with wet, sloppy kisses as you moaned his name in pleasure.
Electrified by your reaction, he’d feel bold, and he’d press his lips against your ear, breathing out once against it, before he’d whisper “Could you call me by that nickname again, y/n?”
The moment you did, he’d softly smile against your ear, resting his head against yours and wrapping his hands around you into a tight hug.
“I love you” he’d simply murmur. He’ll make sure to be bolder from now on.
Kaeya
When you called him like that, his face would burst into the most honest smile you’ve ever seen across his face. He’d interlace his fingers with yours, gently squeezing your hands as he’d guide your arms around his waist. Then, he’d hold your head into his hands, and he’d run his thumb across your wet lower lip as he’d whisper:
“Could say do that again for me, y/n?”
His wish sounded so gentle and soft, with a hint of neediness, as if the whole world would collapse if he didn’t hear you saying that again. With your knees giving in, you indulged in his wish, and, as a response, he’d brush his lips against yours, your eyes fluttering close as he deepened the kiss. He’d taste every inch of your mouth, licking into you with hunger and vigor, as if he wanted to taste your last words and keep them to himself forever.
He’d pull away, pressing his forehead against yours as he’d pant against your skin, your whole body trembling under his breath.
“Again” he’d whisper. He couldn’t get enough. The way your voice sounded, the way your lips curled when you said that nickname were driving him crazy. He could feel every once of love you had for him, and he wanted to cling onto it, to never let it go.
A blush would creep up your cheeks, burning your face as you whispered that nickname again and again in-between Kaeya’s tender kisses.
“Again”. Another kiss. “Again.” Another kiss. “Again”. Another kiss.
He’d kiss you one last time before saying “That’s enough for now, love. I just couldn’t resist you”.

Note
imagine if they have the same conversation but it turns toward the girls and reader puts her two cents in that as well. kaminari: "are you gay?" Kirishima: "do you happen to like momo?" reader: "i'm straight and I do LIKE momo."
Your just a pervert aren’t you?
Sex appeal ,
Warnings: Suggestive joking, There in a school setting so and there’s no lewd going on so I think it’s fine to not use the All Characters 18+ tag
Also @otaku-explosion Ily you were the first person to sent me an ask on this site and that made me really happy ^.^ This isn’t part 2 but filler and I will be dedicating part 2 to you if that’s okay? I still remember the first person who reblogged my work too o////o
Reader x slightly jealous Bakugou and Todoroki
“Hah finally!” You huffed as you threw yourself upon the ground. The grass was cool against your heated skin and you let out a relieved sigh once you were on your back looking up into the sky. The person you had decided to sit by scooted closer.
“Mineta I swear if you touch me i’ll cut off your fingers and make a necklace.” You threatened.
“Oh come on just once?” He pleaded his eyes where they weren’t supposed to be.
“No you imp. ‘Sides why touch me when you can look at those~” You grinned sitting up to watch your classmates do there last gym exercises.
“Whose.” Your perving buddy said quickly looking around.
“Bakugou.” You replied just straight up ogling him. He had taken off the gym jacket leaving him in loose black t. Whenever he’d raise his arms bam! He bless your eyes with his side boob.
“Seriously (Last Name)?” Mineta frowned rolling his eyes. “I mean sure he’s got big titties but those are more my type.”
“Whose.” You ask removing your eyes from the explosive blond to look to where his finger directed. When your eyes met Yaoyorozu’s form you smiled watching as she helped instruct Jirou and Mina. “Momo-chan can smother me with those anyday~” You grinned.
“Tell me about it.” Mineta agreed.
So there you two were ogling your classmates. Until shoji, Sako and Kaminari decided to plop down next you the two of you. Ignoring their arrival you snickered as you saw Koda blush profusely when Tsuyu and Uraraka had asked if he needed assistance.
“So what are you two doing?” Kaminari asked.
“People watching.” You hummed finally turning to greet the two males who had joined you.
“We’re looking to see who has the best cans” Mineta grinned. You bonked the grape heads forehead with your fist.
“No you fool we’re admiring the female figure.” You huffed.
The males looked away with blushes trailing their faces. Until Sero heard your conversation and walked over. You fist bumped the male and he held his hands to his his.
“This reminds me of the conversation we had yesterday.” He mused.
“What? The hottest guy?” Hagakure asked making you jump as she rested her hands on your shoulders. You hadn’t noticed her arrival. You also didn’t notice when Tokoyami joined. They were really good at masking their presence you noted.
“Yeah, You know we did the hottest guy according to (Name) so who’s the hottest girl.” He asked.
“That’s a tough one.” You muttered zoning in on every female in your class. You even looked back at Hagakure who flustered.
“You guys are doing this again?” Ojirou huffed taking a swig of his water.
“What? What are they doing?” Kirishima asked.
“That stupid attractive bullshit.” Bakugou grunted as he sat down next to you. He looked to say something but his face flushed before he could speak and he let out and annoyed ‘tsk’.
“So? Who is it?” You heard Jirou chime as she also joined the growing group.
Everyone looked to you for an answer and you furrowed your brows to think. ‘Who indeed’ “Oi! Midoriya move out of the way your blocking Mina!” You called out. The green haired broccoli side stepped in confusion.
“Mina is fucking fit.” You muttered. “Jirou’s got this whole cool chick thing, Tsuyu’s cute and Uraraka is adorable, Hagakure is perky. And Yaomomo-” You furrowed your brow once more as you saw her talking to Aizawa. You were at a loss at what to say for Yaoyorozu.
That was until you huffed in annoyance. “You mind moving Todoroki.” He had also come over but was blocking your view. He merely blinked at you before noticing both sides next to you were full. He chose to ignore the smirk on Bakugou’s lips and wedged himself between you and Mineta. He pressed against your side but you didn’t mind you had more important things to think of.
“And Yaoyorozu what?” Mina asked finally coming over with Midoriya, Tsuyu and Uraraka trailing along. It seemed as though your whole class except for Yaoyorozu had gathered.
“What’s going on?” You heard someone ask.
“Shh (Name) is about to tell us who’s the sexiest girl in the class.” Kaminari shushed.
“Isn’t it (Name).” Todoroki interjected, you shot him a look of annoyance. “Sorry?”
“Stupid, you thought that was going to get you-”
“Shut up!” You hissed, your eyes looking at Yaoyorozu in full concentration. Then your face mellowed out. “I got it! Yaoyorozu is perfect!” You beamed.
You heard a collection of agreements from your classmates before Mineta opened his mouth. “But you still haven’t answered the question. Who is the sexiest?”
“Isn’t it obvious?” You scoffed. “All of them.”
“What!?!? You can’t choose all of them!” Mineta frowned.
“And, why the fuck not?” You countered leaning over Todoroki to glare at your perverted friend.
“Well… Good point there all hot.” He nodded.
“My thoughts exactly.” You grinned. “All girls are hot.”
“No argument there.” Kirishima grinned.
“I second it!” Sero chimed.
Soon many of them threw in their two cents until Yaoyorozu came up to the group. “What are you guys doing?”
“Talking about how I’d totally smash.” You winked at her. Her face flushed from the neck to the tips of her ears.
“(N-Name)! T-that’s not appropriate!” She blushed.
“Wait (Name) ou swing that way?” Kaminari asked.
“Well she did say that Yaoyorozu was perfect? Does that mean you have a crush on her?” Kirishima questioned.
You gave them the most lecherous grin imaginable as you looked Yaoyorozu up and down. “Who knows” You shrugged “Maybe I do, Maybe I don’t”
Yaoyorozu suddenly felt cold as two pairs of eyes glared her down. You stood up and dusted your clothes only to hug Yaoyorozu tightly. Uraraka quickly pulled you away while Tsuyu bonked you on the head.
“Jeez you’re such a pervert (Name)” Uraraka huffed. You just grinned at your friends sheepishly. You had only done it because you loved how easy it was to fluster Yaoyorozu. Who was now streaming from her ears.
“Relax I don’t swing that way” You waved off beginning to walk back inside. Your two suitors relaxed.
 “Maybe~” You teased.
And, they were tense again….
