So I’m reading Camp Damascus by Chuck Tingle and I’m like 2/3 of the way through and I’ve just gotta say that if I wasn’t the Way I Am, it might feel a little far fetched that the narrator just happens to know a TON of random stuff, all because it happened to be interesting to her at some point so she hyperfocused and spent a ton of time researching it but instead it’s just been like, yep, I remember that time when I spent eight uninterrupted hours also reading through obscure French religious documents from the Middle Ages. this is very normal behavior, no questions carry on.
