So about that advice. I don't think I can write 4 pages on indie game development, let alone a 2 hour conversation.
This is for my senior project. Literally the first time I've been required to write a four page paper. Most I've done before was two pages
2 hours doesn't equate to 4 pages, it's well over -- my point with that is that if you can talk to someone about anything for 2 hours then you can realistically write a 4 page essay! since it's just writing down words
i would create an outline with 2-3 main talking points, and then have an intro and some closing statements. introduce the concept, some contextual details behind it. go through your talking points while referring to your outline. and then close it out with some last minute thoughts/takeaways. by then you should realistically have at least 2 pages if you wrote each part. and you can start to fill in details where you can (add some statistics, facts, examples of types of games, etc.) just pretend youre infodumping to someone about an interest of yours and go off for as long as you can

how does one write a 4 page essay?
writing is actually not super bad imo especially if you get to type it. it really depends on what the essay is about but i'd just write as if you're talking to another person about the topic, and then you can go back and edit it to make it more formal/longer when you're done. if you can have a 2 hour conversation, you can absolutely write a 4 page essay!

What are your thoughts on the American school system? I'm honestly just pushing through, since I graduate at the end of this school year.
it's very outdated and doesn't adequately prepare you for the modern world--school loans are a scam, you shouldn't have to pay for 4 years of education for the rest of your life
it's really flawed and has a lot of problems and i think every student in america is kind of aware of that but there's not much we can reasonably do
