Happy late birthday to my mom! We took a cooking class and learned how to make gnudi, similar to gnocchi except made with very little flour (hence why they're called "nude"!). Ours were a little bulky and resembled chopped-off fingers, but simmer them in butter and sage and sprinkle with cheese...YUM, they're beautiful in their own special way 💕 (at Eataly Boston)

More Cuban food! I don't know if I've ever seen more pork in my life. This is their puerco brasabana - shredded pork in mojo sauce, peppers, onions, sweet plantains, sweet potato, and rice and beans with chipotle-queso...so basically everything I love on a plate. 👌🏼 (at Brasabana)
