“I’m sure we’ll be hearing something about her in the news in the next few days.”
“Let me get you that coffee.”

Though he shared plenty of things with Ramsey, Algernon decided it best to spare him of some of the details, mainly how he could smell the girl laying in the street before he’d realized it was a person he was looking at. “She certainly didn’t look in too good of shape when I saw her, though I’m not sure what her condition really was. They took her to St. Mungo’s, I believe.”
“That’s --” Ramsey frowned, his mind starting to worry. Things were definitely starting to get worse. And right after Natalie’s brother -- “The poor girl.”

“Other than not getting much sleep, I’m fine. But I did learn why it’s a good idea to avoid running into aurors when possible.”
“Was she -- okay?” he asked, although he wasn’t sure if he really wanted to know. His curious side was getting the best of him.

“When you work as a chef you get long hours and have plenty of late nights, and last night I was out even later than usual and…happened to come across the girl that’s been in the newspapers for the past week or so.”
Ramsey let out a low whistle. “You alright?”

“I…may have stumbled onto that missing quidditch girl that’s in all of the papers.”
“You what?”

“No, I just thought it’d be fun to stay awake until nearly five in the morning.”
“I actually was asked to take a little trip down to the ministry.
“The ministry? Why?”

“Yes…. you are coming to Cho’s birthday party, yes?” He asked him eagerly, fingers playing with each other.
“Jaya would never let us miss it.”

“You look like hell.”
“– I’ve had one hell of a night,” Algernon mumbled while rubbing the side of his face. “Tell me, where’s the best place around here to get a coffee? The stronger the better, I think.”

Ramsey let out a low chuckle and, with a wave of his wand, the stain was gone. “Kids, huh?”
a small laugh left him at his friend, shaking his head. “That’s true…. I can’t tell you how many time Cho has thrown food at me or spit up on me or the nanny.” Although he was debating if he should get her a cake for her first birthday in a few days.

“Hm. Well. I don’t entirely know how to fix this, but I can assure you that it is broken and not just something that’s being – what was it you said? Revamped?”
“Revamped. If she can still use it, it isn’t broken.”

“Yeah, mate. What’s a little wine compared to the wrath of a toddler,” he chuckled, already pulling out his wand.
“are you sure? That looks pretty bad. You might get the stain out but not the smell.”

“Nothing a quick spell won’t fix.”
Things had been relatively quiet the past week, surprising really. Wyvren was usually packed with important people. Tonight it seemed lively though, all sorts of people were in that night. Li Lin smiled as he made his rounds, greeting himself to the customers and asking about their experience. His attention was pulled when he heard a raise of voices coming from near the entrance. His eyes darted over, seeing two people arguing. Oh no, he wasn’t going to have that. That argument was getting heated, one of the people knocked a waiter’s tray, knocking wine all over the person seated.
A heavy sigh left Li Lin, walking over to dissolve the argument and telling the man that was getting violent and knocked the tray over, to leave. Once he left, he looked at the other person in question before looking over at the wine stained person. “Are you alright?”

“Sure.”

“I appreciate the honesty,” And he did, even though Kingsley chuckled lightly at Ramsey’s reply. “I’d like to help, but unfortunately I’m not sure if I’ll be able to help with that. With the new job and training starting, I’ll be very busy. I can spread the word. That I can do.”
“We’d appreciate that.”
