Whenever you feel like you need to humble yourself remember that to the time of our Prophet (saw) the women intentionally fasted on the hottest days of the year while we feel sort of extra blessed to be able to make up our missing Ramadan fasts on the shortest days in winter.

When they were asked why they chose the hottest days they replied: "When the price is cheap, everyone will buy" indicating that she preferred those actions only a few were capable of, due to it being difficult for them

"Do not suppose that those killed in the Way of Allah are dead. No indeed! They are alive and well provided for in the very presence of their Lord, delighting in the favour Allah has bestowed on them, rejoicing over those they left behind who have not yet joined them, feeling no fear and knowing no sorrow, rejoicing in blessings and favour from Allah and that Allah does not let the wage of the muminun go to waste."

(3:169-171)

By the time you read this, I may have died and my death was not announced. So please, ask Allah to have mercy on my soul; to forgive me for my sins, transgressions, and shortcomings; to accept me; to make my questioning easy; to save me from the punishments and torments of the grave; to make the Hellfire haram for me; and to unite me with the best of His creation. May Allah have mercy upon you. And forgive me if I have hurt or wronged you.
