IMPORTANT INFO FOR THOSE MAKING NEW RP BLOGS

so i've been hearing many a person having problems with not seeing the legacy text editor in the top right corner of their browser. it would look something like this for those who do have it:

from what i'm going to assume this means that the staff is on the roll with fully implementing and enforcing the beta text editor on everyone. not only that but i'm also going to assume that ( and wouldn't be surprised if ) they're going to be making a site wide update within the next month or two making it to where everybody has to use it regardless to whether or not they want to.

and not only that but it's also getting to the point to where the new xkit is slowly but surely breaking for people because of how outdated it is and the staff enforcing us to use the beta text editor. so i definitely recommend y'all getting xkit rewritten for when the day actually does come for us to permanently use beta text editor.

a couple of addons i recommend y'all getting would be of the following:

limit checker: this. is. an. absolute. life. saver. i kid you not. it tells you the number of asks you sent as well as text / video / videos / etc. posts you've made among a few other things. it's super neat.

mass deleter: unfortunately this only deletes stuff from your drafts and queue but it's definitely worth getting if you have tons of stuff and / or are a hoarder.

mass unliker: i like to sort through my likes every once in a while tbh but if it gets out of hand and you tend to have 8,645,132,154,568 likes then feel free to use this so that you don't have to go through each and every thing in your likes.

mutual checker: do i really need to explain this one?? being able to see who you're moots with via dash is 1,000,000 times easier than going to your followers and CTRL + F nonstop.

tag replacer: having a mass tag replacer is, without a doubt, an absolute life saver. this is especially useful for us roleplayers who tend to change our aesthetics from time to time and have updated our tags. and even if you don't change your tags regularly it's still worth getting this.

tag tracking+: this lets you know when you've been tagged in something!! ah!! 10 out of 10 love it.

timestamps: this is a must for just about all of us in the tumblr rpc. it lets us know when those we follow / moots have posted! so that definitely helps out a lot. it also allows you to choose between the standard format and iso 8601 format, so there's that!

trim posts: okay ... so this addon was a little confusing at first but rest assured that it's 1,000,000 times easier now! in fact, you don't even need that tutorial anymore thanks to a neat little update they did within the past two weeks!

there's a bunch of other little addons you can pick from as well but these are some that i use and can't seem to recommend enough tbh!

now i'm not saying that you should outright give up on the legacy text editor or anything ( let alone the new xkit ) but there will come a time where they'll both cease to exist and that's why i'm making these posts.

lewis felt goosebumps run along his skin as their eyes met, deciding to be a bit dramatic in his movements just to keep eric’s interest. he loved hearing the other talk — especially when it was praise. while, he was usually the one to give the other nonstop encouragement and compliments, it was nice to hear it in return. he hummed softly, allowing his cheeks to hollow as he sucked a bit harder and bobbed his head slightly faster. his goal was to make eric slip up and break his promise of being quiet. there was a wet pop as he pulled off for just a moment. “do you think you could cum for me just like this? or, am i not good enough?” he teased, the smirk obvious on his lips before they wrapped back around eric’s cock with heightened intensity.

poe melted into baekah’s touch, needing nothing more than the other in the moment. in the past, he’d casually thought about what it would be like to kiss the other. but, every imagining fell short of the current moment and he couldn’t have been more happy about being wrong. his arms wrapped around the other’s middle to keep him close before pulling from the kiss. “well, if that was a first and this is the second, i’m hoping for a third and maybe a fourth,” he said softly, fondly looking at the other. he hadn’t quite realized how much baek meant to him until now. “but, you kissed me back, so i hope you’re not doing that just to please me,” he teased, tightening his hug so that their bodies were difficult to decipher from one another.

baek was left nearly breathless the moment the other created distance between them, a dazed gleam in his eyes as he pulled back slightly. but he didn’t dare move at this point, not wanting to untangle himself from the other. a soft smile settled upon his lips as he allowed his forehead to gently rest against poe’s. “you can have as many as you’d like to have,” he murmured as he allowed his hand to gently rest upon the other’s cheek, fingertips tracing across the other’s flushed flesh. “do you think that i would kiss you only to please you? me? one of the most stubborn people you probably know?” he teased, a chuckle following his words as he allowed his arms to fall and return the other’s near-crushing yet warm embrace. “i could honestly stay like this forever, you know?”

thorne swore he could feel a shift of temperature as he held cress’ face. but, he chalked it up to his imagination. however, the way the other responded only led him to believe that it wasn’t as stupid as she thought it was. “you didn’t think i was awake and now you won’t tell me your secret that you were so willing to give over just a moment before? that’s not fair, cress,” he teased, leaning in to bump his nose against her’s. “there’s no way i can sleep if you don’t tell me. actually, i refuse to do so until you tell me. i might stay awake for DAYS.”

a small scoff was quick to fall from cress’ lips as the other practically whined about her refusal to be upfront about her previous confession. “not fair? i think it’s perfectly fair. especially since i have this sneaking suspicion that you would only laugh at me if you knew what i had written.” just when it felt like her blush couldn’t deepen any further, she was proven wrong by the close touches shared between them. it was difficult not to focus on just how close their lips were when thorne playfully bumped his nose against hers. “you’d be willing to go on a sleep strike just to know what i did? i almost feel special.” a chuckle fell from her lips. “i’ll tell you what… i’ll write it one more time. if you don’t understand what i wrote, that’s on you. deal?”

it was easy for melody to beam at the the suggestion, shaking her head as she reached out to hold lola’s hands. “i’m not being pressured into anything. i would love, love, love to go on a date with you. and, it won’t be normal — it will feel extraordinary and wonderful because you’re there,” she said quickly and joyfully. her cheeks were a shade of red and she felt butterflies in her stomach. “are you sure, though? it could get a little messy if i get recognized — so many people will surely want to try to talk to you or take pictures of you. which, you’re hot enough to model, so they would be lucky.”

while lola was typically someone who wasn’t easily flustered, melody’s words easily left her cheeks warm and tinged with a pink hue to them. she offered the other’s hands a gentle squeeze, “despite doing this to provide you with some normalcy, you’re right. it’ll be anything but because you’re extraordinary and deserve nothing less than a special date.” she chuckled softly as she shook her head slightly. “i’ve never been more sure of anything in my entire life. you don’t have to worry about me, doll. i can handle a little attention drawn to us. if anything we can wear silly disguises to give you some peace of mind. no one will be any the wiser.”

pippin found the other in a rather obscure spot, brows furrowing as he carefully approached them. “hey, are you alright?” he asked gently, not wanting to startle them or make them uncomfortable. “you shouldn’t be back here — it’s starting to get late and dark. plus, it’s not very cozy back here,” he continued, laughing slightly to lift the mood. “if you want, i can walk you part of the way to wherever you want to go,” he offered.

the sound of an unexpected voice caused fawn’s gaze to flicker upward, wide doe-like eyes taking in the sight of the stranger standing before her. she must’ve looked like a mess, tucked into a strange corner of the library on the ground, but she had decided to hide when some of the girls who typically took pleasure in bullying her entered. she hadn’t been brave enough to check if they had left, deciding to remain seated and out of sight. “i’m… i’m alright.” probably not the most convincing response considering how much her voice trembled when she spoke. she placed the bookmark between the pages of the book she was currently reading as she glanced down at her watch, “i honestly didn’t even realize how late it had gotten.” she confessed, teeth sinking into her bottom lip. “i wouldn’t want to trouble you by having you walk me back to my dorm, but i appreciate the offer. you probably have better things to be doing than clearing weirdos out of the library.”

pete scrunched his nose, trying to deal with the sudden crashing of upset he was feeling and the guilt he felt for being so quick to pull the journal away. still, he knew his embarrassment would have outweighed the guilt. “i know you wouldn’t tell anyone, but still. that doesn’t mean you wouldn’t judge me or anything. it’s all just dumb stuff,” he said, almost mumbling. he shook his head as he finally forced himself to relax, arms falling to his sides. “it’s alright. i just wasn’t expecting it and all. sorry i freaked out. it was pretty uncool of me — and everyone know i’m the most cool guy ever,” he joked, laughing slightly to help disperse any tenseness from the air. “tell you what: i’ll let you read this one day if you let me read yours — if you even have one.”

brooklyn awkwardly shifted from foot to foot, trying not to dwell on the small passage about her that she had half-read before she was caught in the act. “i doubt anything you wrote about in there is dumb, pete. i’ve listened to ramble about a lot of shit since we’ve become coworkers and none of it thus far has been dumb.” she allowed her fingers to comb through her hair as she shook her head in response to his apology, not feeling as if she was deserving of one at this point. “no, no, i’m the one who should be apologizing. it’s a bad habit of mine to just pick things up and look through them without thinking about it possibly being something private.” although before she realized who the owner of the journal was, she was only opening it to see who it belonged to. there was a glimmer of amusement in her eyes at the other’s suggestion, head cocking to the side. “like you show me yours and i’ll show you mine?” she teased, nose scrunching up. “i do keep a journal. i’d probably go crazy if i didn’t at least write down all the random thoughts that go through my head. you’re more than welcome to read it, i don’t have anything to hide from you.” a fib. but if he saw all the things she had written about him, maybe she could broach what she had seen in his.

jisoo pursed her lips, playfully shaking her head though she knew she was found out. “but that kind of is a high standard — i don’t think you think anyone would take good enough care of me,” she teased with a small laugh. but, the question had her shrugging one of her shoulders. “well…” she trailed off, feeling her stomach turn into knots. she knew she needed to come clean eventually — dessa would find out sooner or later. “they’re kind of in a relationship right now, so it’s not really possible for them to take care of me in any way,” she admitted, averting her gaze so she wouldn’t see the other’s reaction. she knew she would be in for some light disapproval.

okay, so maybe jisoo had a point. dessa’s nose scrunched up slightly as she shook her head in response to the other’s words, “that’s because i’ve yet to find anyone worthy of you, but that doesn’t mean they don’t exist.” then again, she was heavily biased. not only did she have feelings for the other, but she had placed her best friend on a rather high pedestal in her mind. the small smile that rested upon dessa’s glossy lips vanished completely when the other’s explanation was finally provided, uncomfortable silence washing over her. “that… that is a rather complicated situation.” she admitted, lips pursing slightly. “i would never encourage getting involved with someone who is already in a relationship but… have you thought about telling them how you feel? if they’re not on good terms with their partner, maybe there might still be hope for you?” was she actually encouraging this right now?
