If you are lonely right now, I want you to know that it is okay, and you are not alone. Some days the feeling is more heavy than others, it’s okay. Do things that are soothing to you, whether that is writing your feelings down, making a cup of tea and holding with both of your hands, reading, watching a comfort movie or calling a friend. I don’t have any magic answers, some days the loneliness is just more heavy, but I have found, that the presence of loneliness is a factor in this pandemic. I accept that, and do soothing things on the days where it feels more heavy. I hope more lighter days soon reach all who needs it, and that the constant presence of loneliness soon won’t be constant anymore. Until then, please hang on. You are not alone. 🌸

Even if your condition is chronic and your symptoms won't ever go away, your life as a whole can still get better. Whether it's through finding better coping strategies, more effective treatment, a better support network, through knowing yourself, your needs and your limits better, through accessing more accommodations or through discovering new passions, your life can and will improve even if your condition itself won't. I promise.

tips for what to do after a really long cry because you’re probably feeling all kinds of exhausted and drained and i don’t want that for you in the slightest:
take a shower and change all of your clothes even your socks and underwear. this is the first step to everything.
pour yourself a big, cold glass of water and drink it. all of it. once you’re done, get yourself a refill. this will boost u physically and emotionally instantly please trust me.
grab a snack, something light that you don’t have to wait to prepare. i recommend a pudding cup, a piece of fruit, yogurt, a popsicle, or some crackers.
get under the covers. turn on something - tv, a movie, music, anything distracting. or consider calling a friend or talking to anyone nearby, even your sibling the next room over!!
know that you are loved. you are important. you mean more than you know right now, more than you will maybe ever know. you are worth all the stars in the sky. you deserve to feel good.

Things you don’t need to feel guilty about: eating, how you look, standing up for yourself, relaxing, sleeping in, taking a mental health day, saying “no.”

this pandemic will end and you’ll claim the window seat in your favorite cafe, stand in a crowd at a concert, visit a museum and make crappy art in the park. sometimes things feel like they’ll go on forever, sometimes bad things feel heavier than good things, sometimes life feels like it’s slowing down and all you’re doing is waiting for the full stop— but just because this hopelessness is all that you’re feeling right now, doesn’t mean that it’s all there is. there’s always more and you will experience that, and you will feel alive again.

Life is short so wear what makes you happy, do your hair and makeup how you want. Don’t worry about fitting in or pleasing anyone. If dressing a certain way makes you happy then hold onto that

You can’t expect yourself to go from a negative mentality to a positive one overnight, but every time you correct a bad thought you are growing! So focus on your growth, not the fact that you aren’t “there” yet.

You’re going to be okay you know. It hurts right now, that’s okay. But one day you’re going to look up and realize how happy you are, how much love surrounds you. You’re going to be okay.
