Dan Tom is an MMA writer who’s opinion I respect, so I’m going to share his all time GOAT list for Brazilian fighters in the UFC. Presumably made to celebrate the UFC’s return to Rio.

I think these list serve better as historical markers and places to share context than some subjective ranking of accomplishment and skill. A good way to commemorate the sport we love and I think Tom does a good job of this.

Lists like this are designed to be quibbled with, but there’s some weird stuff going on where some fighters runs out of the UFC are factored in more than others.

Oh, and I reject pretty much any list that has Anderson Silva at the top of it.
