every time someone talks about someone "faking disability to live on welfare" or anything to that effect i think about how my mom worked in law and directly knew of a case of a guy who had terminal brain cancer with an estimated few months to live and got rejected the first time he applied for disability income. like, he was 100% going to die and that wasn't disabled enough to not have to jump through a million hoops and get lawyers involved. non-disabled people "living off of welfare" is such a non issue because i cannot bring myself to care about the like, 3 people who maybe successfully do it compared to the thousands of people rejected who need aid

Having a traumatic childhood means you cannot talk even objectively about your basic foundational experiences without it being "venting", even if you're not actually venting. You just straight up have a huge chunk of your life you can't talk about, full stop, without it being trauma dumping.

And it not being socially acceptable to talk about your own childhood is super alienating. Sometimes people want to know why, and any answer you can give them is going to be off putting.

It's to the point I get irritated when something I said is framed as venting when I'm literally just talking about my life experiences, doing my best to keep emotion out of it.

finally got around to getting mini test print #1 of lyn’s jointed wings done! the joints need some adjustments as expected, but i am quite pleased that she can wrap her wings around herself as i wanted ^_^ (though it’s too bad you can barely see all the sculpted details i added to the feathers at this size… oh well….)

Just found out I was thirsty not by receiving a signal from my body about it but by dozing off and dreaming about cold water from different alluring angles. This is great. I think all my wants and needs should be revealed to me this way

and so i was in the process of doing supports for all of my doll wing parts for the mini test print and i realized - and only on the very last mesh - that i completely forget to finish cutting out the joints on two of the meshes. and i somehow completely did not even notice on the first one of the two i did!!! wow!!!!! i am good at this guys
