One of my least favorite things about people freaking out over Rose’s “not fighting what you hate, saving what you love” quote is everyone started hating on it and calling it stupid, but it fits right in with the philosophy of the star wars universe and goes hand in hand with “hate leads to the dark side”. Rose basically acknowledges that if you do something good out of the hate in your heart and not the love, that it still has negative effects, and she’s fucking right in-verse.

Our friends at the Black Series Rebels show put together a video of fans showing support for Kelly Marie Tran. She was harassed by racist and sexist trolls until she decided to leave the toxicity behind her and give the internet a break. Disappointed fans sent short clips of positive messages to Kelly Marie Tran and the guys edited them together into this video.
