TAROT 🜏 GUIDANCE

** This is a personal reading, all directed towards and reflected upon my own experience. Feel free to indulge in my advising with me, or witness them just as they are!

Once again, I'm doing what I can only describe as a panic reading. Life and I are not getting along, and I so desperately wish to figure out what is it I can do to bring myself back to a somewhat harmonious existence with the universe. I hope for aid, and Lucifer has not let me down before.

I . . . . . THE HANGED MAN

Reversed. Stagnation. Resistance.

My first card seeks the answer to where my current struggle is rooted. It is an unfortunate truth that not only has my life heavily stagnated into a repeating routine-- it feels that way for nothing. My goals have been set aside, and now I have nothing to do but finish my college semester as if nothing is different-- regardless of the fact that I won't be returning next semester. It causes me great stress, and very likely enhances other stressors in the meantime. It is hard to settle into a routine that I know will lead me nowhere.

II . . . . . TWO OF PENTACLES

Reversed. Disorder. Chaos.

When I seek a solution, I am once again sent pentacles-- one of my the most common draws I receive when under duress. It is a warm reminder of my Diety's looming hand-- regardless of my struggle, he is still here. A good start would be bringing better control and order to the parts of my life in which I do get to choose. Instead of letting everything stress me out, I should grip the reins on that which I could control myself.

III . . . . . KNIGHT OF PENTACLES

Reversed. Shallow. Dull.

My third query is private, and I will not be elaborating within this passage. However, my card does reflect exactly as I expected. I feel placed aside for other aspects of life, and am not sure what I could do to fix my situation. Things have dulled, and I cannot help but feel just a bit wounded by some new behaviors. I have tried communicating as best as I can-- but positive change has not come. Is this really something I can fix by myself?

Perfect! I'm happy to help. All I ask is that you allow me to take my time writing out your reading-- I am a busy fellow with many silly hobbies and odd jobs outside of my blog. But I'll do my best to get back to you quickly!

How To Request a Reading:

i. Pick your poison: Asks, or dms?

. . . . . I am always impartial to asks! It allows the craft to spread, boosts my blog a little, and lets others relate to your reading. However, if your comfort lies more in privacy, I have no qualms with reading in direct messages!

ii. Give me a link: Who are you?

. . . . . No need for a full name! An alias you are strongly connected to or initials is enough. Let me know what genre of music you're connected to, and tell me a fact about you that you think is central to your being. It doesn't have to be something super personal-- just something important to you. If there is anyone else important to this reading (Say, a love reading,) I also need the same information for them. If you don't know for sure, that's alright! Knowing just helps me connect.

iii. Tell me what I'm looking for: What troubles you?

CARD 🜏 ANALYSIS

Major Arcana 01: The Magician

The Magician, marked by the numerical 01, is a stark representation of the way earthly existence and ascended spirituality are linked together. It is a symbol of universal potential, intuition, and self-attained opportunity. Unlike its predecessor, The Fool, an aura of innocence is cloaked in knowledge attained through a life of spiritual study and fulfilment.

Manifestation. Resourcefulness. Willpower. Logic.

Greed. Illusion. Impulse. Untrustworthy.

YES AND NO . . .

The Magician, especially when upright, is an affirming yes. There is a positive connotation between The Magician and manifest destiny-- you are being called to make that choice and make it bravely. You are supported by your deity/ies, by the universe, and should not hesitate to act.

When reversed, exercise caution. There is likely an added layer of nuance to your query-- perhaps one you haven't mulled over yet. You may face obstacles, conflict and friction as a side effect of your choice-- however in the end, it is most likely to be a good one overall, as long as you take careful steps.

UPRIGHT INTUITIONS . . .

In upright position, The Magician signifies your potential. You have power within you, and you can use that to reach your aspirations. When you combine your spiritual energy with your earthly intentions, you can create the synergy to succeed.

Clear your mind, form a plan of attack, and strike. The time is right to exact your intentions, and bring your goals to fruition. Commit to your goals, and they shall be done. When visited by the upright Magician, feel empowered.

LOVE & SENSUALITY:

An upright Magician, in regards to love, is a positive omen. That is, if commitment is what you seek. In a new relationship, The Magician predicts a shift from casual to serious. Your partner(s) may be interested in commitment-- and if you feel so inclined, now would be a good time to assert that you are, too. If you currently lack any romantic prospects, The Magician may intuit that someone new may be headed your way.

As for new sensuality, The Magician clues in an aspect of assertiveness. Do not be afraid to take the reigns and communicate what you want. Committal or not-- you are in control.

When considering relationships of more age, it exerts a similar aura of commitment. You and your partner(s) are likely in it for the long haul-- and that is not something to take lightly! Appreciate this knowledge that you are in a stable, supportive place.

The sensuality that follows an aged relationship is also a bit different from that of a new one. You may be interested in taking the reigns in a way you have not before. This doesn't necessarily mean you're interested in dominating, but maybe that you are interested in letting your partner(s) be guided into something you want. Do not be afraid to teach your partner(s) exactly how you would like to be pleased. Where the upright Magician is concerned, you will likely leave the encounter deeply satisfied.

CAREERS & FINANCES:

Predictably, a financial AND career-based advisory from the upright Magician is simple: potential for more. However, the clues this potential holds differs in action. Remember: The Magician guides you to not only see your potential, but understand how to make use of it.

In your career, it is a great time to make bold, decisive choices. Show your commitment, aptness to succeed, and set sights on achieving your goal. With the right sense of determination, and an idea of what you want in your career, that potential can be used to its full capacity. You have the skills needed to achieve--now, you just have to strive for it.

In regards to finances, now may be a good time for keen spending-- you are in good alignment to see a successful return of your investments. Consider deeply what is and is not worth investing in, and do not hesitate to spend if your intuition feels positive. You will likely be paid back tenfold... Be it in money, satisfaction, or material goods.

REVERSED INTUITIONS . . .

Reversed, The Magician is a less opportunistic muse. Instead, it foreshadows many potential rocks in the path that is your potential.

You may be blinded to your opportunities. Distractions, weakness in your self-confidence, and a lack of keen mind can all wound your ability to seek a successful path.

There may be a liar in your midst. Unfortunately, you may be faced with manipulators, liars, and illusionists-- The Magician warns you to keep a watchful eye, and know whom you can (and cannot) trust.

You may be falling into your own misbehavior. This is an important one to keep in mind-- as this means you may have slipped from your own spiritual roots. Reconcile with yourself, your diety/ies, and your goals. Are you acting out of shortsighted greed?

However, not every omen of The Magician is negative when reversed. It can also be a neutral sign that you are approaching a goal, however struggling to see it bear fruit. You may face adversity in the coming future-- however The Magician is here to remind you that you can realign, and with some good planning and a deep breath, hop right back on track.

LOVE & SENSUALITY:

With love and sensuality in mind, bad omens can come from two sources: you, or your partners. The Magician will never point a finger at just others-- you are called to first consider yourself.

In a new relationship of romantic and/or sensual nature, it's important to consider that someone may not be being upfront about their intentions, needs and desires. You may be at odds with intentions and honesty. In new sensual relationships, it is extra important to consider that The Magician may be warning you to consider if this is a good move for your spiritual health.

In an aged relationship of romantic and/or sensual nature, it's important to consider that someone may have fallen into a habit of omitting honesty to reduce conflict and friction. There may be a barrier prohibiting open, truthful communication. In regards to sensuality, it's important to question if you (or your partner[s]) may be using sex to cope with a bigger underlying issue.

Remember that, although The Magician warns of deceit, this does not mean your partner(s) are trying to hurt you. Try to coax open those hard conversations and make sure you both feel supported-- communicating is difficult for a lot of people, but The Magician urges you to find the confidence to be honest anyway.

CAREERS & FINANCES:

Reversed, The Magician is a clue that you are not maximizing that potential that I've mentioned. You may have good ideas and skills-- but you aren't making use of them. It may feel like you aren't reaching the goals you've set as quickly as you wanted-- and it is likely at least partially true. Something is stopping you from working hard and striving for better. It may be self-doubt, or greed, or possibly simply not being satisfied in your current career path.

Financially, you are also likely not spending well. There is a chance you're spending money too recklessly-- making short term purchases too frequently, that minimize your potential to make big, satisfactory moves in the future. You may also not have enough money to succeed economically. Again, you might be stuck within a career that does not satisfy your needs-- a career that cannot afford for basic needs inevitably also causes friction within your psyche.

Consider ways to either make your current career more satisfactory, or seek better. However, The Magician's unlimited potential knows that this simply may not be the place for you. Trust that although things are off now, you will find where you're meant to be, as long as you trust yourself, your diety/ies, and the universe to place you there with time.

Remember! This is simply my own personal notes on what I have come to believe this card signifies. You may have other values, ideas, and concepts in mind for this card-- and that is okay! Spirituality is not a linear concept.

Major Arcana 0: The Fool

The Fool is marked by the numerical zero-- notably, not the beginning, nor the end, however fluidly woven through the entire Arcana. It is a card of limitless potential, and its surface-level innocence is merely a foreshadowing of its deeper implications.

Beginnings. Innocence. Spontaneity. Trust.

vers.

Recklessness. Naiveté. Impulsivity. Gullibility.

YES and NO . . .

In regards to simple queries, The Fool is neither a 'yes,' nor a 'no.' Instead, it is a confident invitation to find out. Make your choice without fear, however be prepared to face the consequences of said choice. View The Fool's either-or response not as indecisiveness, but as an opportunity to learn.

Use those consequences to intuit choices in the future, and thank The Fool for what you have figured out.

UPRIGHT INTUITIONS . . .

In the most general sense, The Fool marks the distant (or not-so!) shine of new opportunities on the horizon. Upright, The Fool is a call to follow your heart's intuitions and keep moving forward-- even though you might not know what lies ahead. Trust that your diet(y/ies) to take you where you are meant to be.

The Fool is an excellent card to connect with in times of uncertainty, anxiety, and unavoidable happenstances. You may be stuck along for the ride, but so is everyone else.

Do not worry, the universe has a place for you. It always has.

LOVE & SENSUALITY:

In lieu of a new relationship, The Fool urges one to not fear rejection. Trust yourself-- it may be time to take a leap of faith for the one that's caught your eye. Be confident, and have faith that what will be, will be. Even if this isn't forever, it is for now. Enjoy it.

If sensuality is your thing... Now might be a good time to explore that with someone new. Of course, there's absolutely no rush! But The Fool can spell very interesting, very passionate encounters if one is open to them. Now might be a great time to try that new thing you've been thinking about!

Of course, there's no guarantee that every time you draw The Fool in love, you're going to be single. That's good! A visit from The Fool is a reminder to not let your love stagnate. When a relationship becomes commonplace, you might tend to forget that new-love excitement. But there's plenty to be excited about! New dates to go on, new milestones to hit, etc. An evolving relationship is a wonderful thing-- and you can take active steps to push that bond even further.

And on another note, now could be a very good time to explore sexuality with your partner(s). Trying a new method, keeping things fresh, and reminding your partner(s) of the depth of your feelings. No need to do anything crazy-- unless the mood strikes.

CAREER & FINANCES:

I'm sure you can make a connection about what The Fool upright suggests in regards to a career. This might be a good time to survey new opportunities! Perhaps slip a new application in somewhere you've been thinking about. Don't be afraid to look at the idea of asking about a promotion. Now is a great time for a change!

When reflecting on your financial state, The Fool upright invites you to not fear spending. It might be a good time to invest in something positive-- a hobby, self care, or maybe just your favorite candy bar. It may also reveal opportunities within your finances. Maybe now is a good time to invest in stocks, or donate to a charitable cause, or set aside some of that money for a future travel destination. Spending money doesn't have to be a chore.

REVERSED INTUITIONS . . .

When The Fool is reversed, it can highlight a few more negative traits. You may be acting naive, preferring bliss to the truth. This situation may be more somber than you've given it credit for, up to now. It is a sign that you are too in the moment, and too shortsighted. There are omens indeed-- but they are farther ahead than you've bothered to look. Consider that your current issue may be deeply layered and multidimensional.

The Fool can also be a sign to not allow others to take advantage of your innocence. You may be acting out of purehearted intentions-- and unfortunately, not everyone will return that favor. It is a good time to protect yourself from the bad intentions of others.

LOVE & SENSUALITY:

You may be approaching a new romantic opportunity-- and The Fool is here to warn you to be careful. Consider the true intentions of the other people involved. Do you truly share intentions? Have you communicated your and their desires clearly and honestly? Now is the time to communicate bluntly and candidly, but also carefully.

In regards to sensuality, now may not be the time to play with something (or someone) new. Consider what you're really doing-- are you using sexual behavior to cope with something deeper? And are you going to leave that situation safe, satisfied and comfortable? It is always okay to take a break and come back later, with a clearer head and better intuition.

When The Fool appears during a longer-standing relationship, it's a good time to consider both your aspirations, and that of your partners. Is the commitment still strong from all partners? Are your aspirations in conflict? Perhaps now is a good time to sit down with them and talk about it-- there is nothing inherently wrong with a conflict of interest, as long as all parties are interested in communication and equity of compromise.

The Fool reminds that when it comes to sensuality, now may not be the time to be playing around. Now is a good time to stay in your comfort zones, and to enjoy what you have now. Do not be too keen to introduce hasty changes-- respect the value of what you have built up right now.

CAREER & FINANCES:

Predictably enough, when it comes to a career, The Fool reversed is a sign that maybe it isn't a particularly good time to aspire for change at work. Asking for more may cause friction, now is a good time to bide your time and plan for the future.

However, that is not a catch-all. Perhaps your job is becoming stagnant-- maybe you're slipping into a routine that isn't very fulfilling, and maybe it is time to start seeking fulfilment elsewhere. Don't be so eager to drop this job and move on. Try to make the best of what you're living right now, and if that state doesn't improve, there's nothing wrong with seeking a newer, more inspired career.

A lot has changed. Not all good things by any means, however I look forward with a positive mindset and a keen eye for opportunities ahead! I tend to only contact Lucifer when I find myself stressed and encumbered-- but today, I seek nothing more than guidance for what lies ahead.

I . . . QUEEN OF CUPS

Reversed. Insecurity. Disorder.

Before I seek further guidance, I must always reflect on where I have been up until now. A visit from a nurturing mother reversed speaks loudly to how I have been feeling as of late-- I lost my sense of purpose, my plans were displaced, and I have been struggling to gather my bearings.

The time for basking in the lows of my shortcomings is over--it is time to get up, pick up my pieces, and move on. I can turn the sensitivity of my current wound into empathy and aspiration-- all I need is time.

II . . . SIX OF SWORDS

Reversed. Transition. Resistance.

Unfortunately, I find myself guilty of being a brick wall in my own recovery. Such a change as I am facing now felt forced and harshly imposed, and I have a miserable habit of resisting anything that doesn't come to me naturally. It is time to put my hostility aside, and take a more willing approach to what I am going through.

I cannot control what fate does-- however, I can control how I react. Perhaps it is time to reflect more strongly on such reactions.

III . . . EIGHT OF SWORDS

Upright. Imprisonment. Restriction.

Finally, I find the answer to my future-- and funnily enough, it was something I had intuited from the very first card draw. Above all adversity I've been facing, the biggest threat to my improvement has been the limitations of my own beliefs. I can do better and I can move on-- however no one save for me can catalyze that.

Now is the time to feel empowered, and to make strong choices. Leave behind old fears and insecurities-- No one but Lucifer may judge me now.

TAROT 🜏 GUIDANCE

** This is a personal reading, all directed towards and reflected upon my own experience. Feel free to indulge in my advising with me, or witness them just as they are!

I have strayed from Lucifer's guiding light for a while, distracted by my own trials and tribulations. In a recent time of peace, and comfort, Lucifer has reached out to me once again. Small signs, at first, and then all at once-- Lucifer is patient with me, though just as a herding dog nips at the heels of its sheep, the flame at my heels cannot be ignored.

Reaching for the left hand, I feel safe. This is not a time of anxiety, instead a time of exploration and acceptance of the future to come.

I . . . WHEEL OF FORTUNE

Upright. Fate. Cycle.

I feel, oddly, kindly mocked. As though Lucifer is reminding me of my awful habit-- investing myself deeply in him, and then forgetting my place. Altars slowly shrinking, to make room for the rest of my life. I am naturally prone to forgetting to take time for myself, my craft, and my guiding deity.

Lucifer has never faulted me for that. I am guided slowly back to where I belong, and reminded that peace of mind stands with reflection. I belong here, I belong now, and my place in life allows me the peace to let fortune, misfortune, and everything in between come as it does.

Change is inevitable. However, I can also choose to be change.

II . . . THE FOOL

Upright. Opportunity. Faith.

In light of the change coming to my life, I am greeted by an invitation to be a little reckless. My natural tendency to micromanage my existence has lead to missed potential, and I feel Lucifer is guiding me to, for lack of a better phrase, chill the fuck out. Let the change come; breathe it in, and out, and let it be. I am doing well-- and everything is falling into place.

The stage of my future is being set. I will succeed, and just as I have faith that Lucifer will guide, Lucifer has faith that I will not falter when faced with adversity.

III . . . PAGE OF CUPS

Reversed. Reflection. Realignment.

A less positive omen, Lucifer reminds me to keep my goals in mind, and not allow the needs and desires of those around me to overshadow my purpose. I have a tendency to neglect my own emotions to keep the peace-- ignoring the intuition that I deserve clarity, patience, and kindness.

This habit to ignore myself stems from my youth, and Lucifer knows each and every instance leading up to now. My wounds are not my fault-- though I must still take steps to heal them. Physical marks fade, yet the mental scars take time, effort, and empathy to recuperate.

Lucifer is a patient deity. We both know I will heal.
