Kind of insane to me that he picked the wedding actually. As someone actively planning a wedding I would 100% tell him to go and live his dreams instead of sitting around while I'm focusing on my husband ... and I DID tell at least 3 of my close friends to do that after they told me that they have incredible internship opportunities after graduation and they're planning to move to Nashville.

The lesson we learned from this episode has nothing to do with self-sacrifice, actually. It has to do with ASKING your friends if they're bent on having you there. EXPLAIN the situation!
