the face of a woman who just realized her crush dragged her party through a bunch of dangerous bullshit just so he could have an excuse to talk with this other guy he is obsessed with, and he is not even gonna confront him about stealing their stuff because he wants the other guy to like him

Charmed by the harpies
P.S. Halsin's lines are exactly the same as Tav's.
And the song of course

THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER GODS WHO LOVE TO RUIN MORTALS DAYS, YOU COULD PICK ANYONE ELSE!!!!!
I know Sinbad isn't the best example of mythological accuracy haha, but more retellings could feature Eris as an antagonist! Sowing discord and fucking up people's day is literally her THING (and she looks fabulous doing it, which is a bonus)
Heeeeeeeeeey Icy, random question, but have you seen Troy? the 2004 film? I got reminded of its existence for like the first time in years and was trying to jog my memory--
--all I can really recall though is having the biggest crush on Hector 👀😂
Have I ever seen Troy!? Rogue! It’s like you don’t even know me anymore lol I’m just teasing! Yessss!!! I’ve seen Troy!
I wasn’t too fond of it, but it was an interesting movie nonetheless! I’m a basic bitch! I had the hawts for Achilles uhhhhh purely for the plot!
I haven’t seen it in yearsssssss and by years I mean maybe what? 2 or 3 since Netflix removed it? Hell it might be back! Ohhhhhhhhh! I think I spent most of the movie being irritated 🤣WHY YALL ACTING A DAMN FOOL LIKE THIS!
I think it’s because I’m biased because I really like The Iliad and I may have been hypercritical. I should watch this with no expectations. The more ya knowwwwww!!!
I’m more of a Gladiator gworl! 🗣️ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED
Also let’s jump for a second! Totally different vibe/era but Have you ever seen King Arthur Legend of the Sword? It’s so fuckin underrated but a damn good movie (to me lol)

I am OBSESSED with Overly Sarcastic Productions, their Journey to the West vids make me laugh every time haha.
YES they are doing another Gladiator. I know basically nothing about it though except Pedro Pascal is in it as a supporting character (but it's Pedro Pascal dressed as a gladiator, so I'm sold hehe)
I've also heard they are doing a short series based on Circe by Madeline Miller which I LOVED, but I haven't heard anything about it in ages.
I actually enjoyed Clash of the Titans but probably because I have a big soft spot for the 1981 film 😂 I think I was like, four and was TERRIFIED of Medusa but in hindsight I think it triggered my interest in greek mythology haha. But in the 2010 version I was like A) why is Hades the villain when Zeus is RIGHT THERE being an ass, and B) wasn't it Poseidon who sent the sea monster in the original myth???? WHY HADES?????

actually your characters should be pure wish fulfillment and your writing should be entirely self indulgent and it should all be very, incredibly, undeniably horny.

HAHA I had a feeling the answer would be yes, but I didn't want to assume 😂 yeah there were definitely some choices I didn't get (Achilles and Patroclus are like brothers???.....suuuuuuuuuuuuuure) and the gods not really being present was a missed opportunity for even more messiness. Also even Orlando Bloom couldn't make me find Paris tolerable, I wanted Hector to toss him overboard haha
I've always thought there should be like an animated series of the Illiad or the Odyssey, kind of Blood of Zeus style. There's so much there, and it feels like every adaptation I have seen downplays the magic (GIVE ME MAGIC). Like imagine BOZ but with the Odyssey???? Imagine CIRCE??????
YES I LOVE GLADIATOR. I mean, the history nerd in me was like "that didn't happen, that's not right, wtf" but I'm a sucker for anything set in ancient rome and gladiators, tbh 😂 Did you hear they are doing another film?!
YES I'VE SEEN Legend of the Sword! Ugggggggh I have such a complicated feeling about that film because I LOVE aspects over but its paced like a whirlwind so watching it I'm like "DAMN IT SLOW DOWN FOR A SECOND!" (like they couldn't seem to decide who the mage woman actually is so they just...don't give her a name???? Is she Guinevere, Morgan COME ON JUST PICK ONE!
(Personally I like to think she's Guinevere - Guinevere also having magical abilities is an interesting take I don't think has actually been used before, and could've added an interesting dynamic to a potential relationship with Morgan le Fay - although I doubt we'll be getting a sequel unfortunately 😭
Also the strange, tentacled monster women underneath Camelot is such a creepily cool design - especially when you realise the women are all pale with dark hair, just like Vortigern's wife (I spent the whole film expecting her to appear among them after he gave her over to it)

Thinking of how there's the option to eat the tadpole in bg3 and how laios would probably eat it if he was in the game
(Senshi only stops him so he can eat it gourmet/cooked)
