          the only reason SHE stands out as a jewel among british society is her title ; it is a novelty to have a REAL PRINCESS in their midst, even if she distracts attention from some of the other young ladies. aside from that, tatiana does not shine. she is not the belle of the ball ; her personality is not flashy or vivacious. she is more content to sit by the sidelines, uncomfortable with the attention her title brings. Ronan,

     Well, at least we’re on the same page where our sexualities are concerned. It makes me actually hope that perhaps we’ll be happy. Perhaps we may even come to care for one another. I admit, I always wanted to get married for love. But—I suppose we can’t always have what we want, can we.

     I most definitely have more secrets than that, but perhaps you’re right about not putting them down on paper. I would hate for my letter to get waylaid and end up in someone else’s hands other than yours. I just hope that nothing I have to tell you is too—earth shattering. I doubt my mother would have told yours, however, as I’m sure it would jeopardize their precious plans.

     I suppose in the next couple of months we will meet. I’m not sure I’m ready for that, but I have time to get used to the idea. No offense is meant of course, it’s just that we are to be married in that time and I still have yet to see your face. I do look forward to meeting you, I suppose I’m just nervous.

     I have to stop here, I’d like to get this letter out to you before I have to go help my mother pick out some things for the wedding. All the best, Ronan.

     If you grew up in a house like mine, I’m sure you understand how one becomes numb to things that are ‘earthshattering’. It takes nothing more than an old, rich, pure-blooded family with strict beliefs to make someone numb to any ounce of pain in the world. Perhaps I am a bit too dramatic, but sometimes I wonder...

     Perhaps our parents will grant us a bit of time before the wedding to speak with one another or have tea or something. I would not hold my breath though. My mother would think I would use the time to scheme with you on a way to get out of the wedding. She’s right too. Smart woman. I can’t help but hate her a little bit for it. 

      Hope you picked out at least one thing to spite our mothers. I do enjoy the occasional look of disgust to ruin my mother’s features. I hope to hear from you soon.
