I was gonna make a horny positivity post but I'm kinda sick of tgirls having to use sex to get any respect so uh, idk, love fat tgirls. Their dimples and their cellulite and their soft tummies and arms and thighs and their tits whether big or small and their asses even if they're flat. Idk. That's your sister. That's a person. Buy em dinner, invite them to a movie, tell em you thought about them at the store.

every moment of Steel's conversation with Suvi was carefully calculated, for example
appearing informally from Steel's personal space so the request was coming from Suvi's mother not her boss
Playing up the us v them of witches and wizards
Not using Ame's name, but referring to her as the Witch of Toma (until after the Geas was laid)
Stroking Suvi's ego and enforcing her identity as a wizard
Referring to it as a 'questing spell' before referring to it as a geas
Calling right before arrival, applying artificial time pressure so Suvi doesn't have time to think and take reasonable steps like asking for the wording of the Geas first (that at any cost was deeply intentional)

i think the major issue is that at least in the case of fat people (i would imagine some other marginalized people too, but don't care to speak past my own experience here) the conversation re: chubby chasers has revolved around this mystical spectre of The Fetishist, whose attraction to fat people is bad because it's Fetishistic (in a way that exclusive attraction to thin bodies, by virtue of being culturally normative, is not) and it Fetishizes their partners and creates toxic Fetish Content. it's essentially the discussion of a real problem (the sexual exploitation & abuse of fat people) utilizing only the language of reactionary constructions re: "porn addiction" and non-normative attraction. i don't really give a shit if a guy has only ever dated 300LB+ women, but what i DO care about is what those women say about him and how he treated them, if he was public about their relationships, if he listened when they said "no," etc. honest-to-god shitty chubby chasers aren't bad because of this nebulous idea of Fetishism so much as the violence with which they treat fat people, the harassment they put unconsenting fat people through, the frequent abuse of their sexual partners, and definingly the way in which they exploit cultural fatphobia & the desexualization of fat people to get away with it over and over and over again. and the irony of it is that the more we panic about Fat Fetishists without centering the conversation on power and violence, and the more we by-extension reinforce attraction to fat bodies as an abnormal and abhorrent trait, the deeper this hole is dug -- because it's that very abnormality which pushes fat partners into the shadows and which casts constant doubt over our voices as survivors of sexual violence. it's goofy

I literally COULD NOT care less about middle schoolers making deep fake porn of their classmates being on the sex offender registry for life. Maybe actually facing consequences for their behavior once in their lives will set an example for their peers

I also had a sex class that covered different guest speakers in the “lab” (it was a bio course so it had a lab section) talking about different kinds of sexual behavior on the internet and it was wild to see “hentai” on the syllabus.
(Also featured was “second life” (the video game) and “bdsm.” )
taking a class on sex this semester which has resulted in many fun things like "sex activity" and "sex final" being added to my planner. being very mature and serious about this .

Today in obscure Doctor Who jokes:
Somebody on Twitter pointed out that the Big Finish companion Hex is canonically from the year 2021, so when he occasionally abbreviates the word "suspicious" to "sus," it's probably an Among Us reference.
The punchline is that this character was actually introduced back in 2004. It was made-up future slang that they happened to get right.

Y’know what…
Yeah. I want my tax dollars to pay for the healthcare of the person who started smoking and kept smoking because they think it looks cool and doesn’t give a shit about all the warnings. I want my tax dollars to pay for the healthcare of the person who destroyed their liver because they just love drinking and didn’t stop even if they weren’t addicted. I want my tax dollars to pay for the healthcare of the person who never drinks water, only regular cola. I want my tax dollars to pay for the healthcare of the person who missed the trampoline when they jumped off the roof to impress their friends. I want my tax dollars to pay for the healthcare of every single person who had to have a surgeon remove something without a flared base from their assholes. I want my tax dollars to pay for all the kinds healthcare needed by all the kinds of people who decided to have sex without any kind of barrier. I want my tax dollars to help fix the teeth of meth users. I want my tax dollars to help everyone who’s been noncompliant with the doctor’s recommendations, everyone who’s been a hypochondriac in the ER, everyone who let things get bad before getting help.
Everyone is deserving.

so here's the thing about the latest protocol episode:
georgie has presumably been here for a while. long enough to have a podcast indexed on google, at least. so the assumption i've been seeing that she's protocol-verse georgie and separate from archives-verse georgie makes sense.
but then, why is her podcast on dimensional travel? (sam linked celia mentioning dimensions to the podcast directly, and he has no reason to lie—)
possibilities:
protocol-verse georgie is actually archives-verse georgie who was pulled into the protocol-verse somehow and started the podcast in hopes of finding her friends from archives-verse, and did in fact get celia in on it. they're trying to figure out what the hell is going on with the universes
protocol-verse georgie is separate from archives-verse georgie and is just doing a podcast on dimensional travel for funsies, while celia got pulled from archives into protocol and found georgie immediately but not the one she remembered. then her telling sam that her research was for georgie's podcast was lying to cover up that celia's actually trying to find a way to go back
protocol-verse georgie and protocol-verse celia are entirely different from archives-verse them and celia's whole "tape recorders and manila folders" thing is a whole red herring; she recognized chester because he sounded like georgie's ex (or current boyfriend?) from years ago
georgie's podcast is quite literally the magnus archives. somehow
