i always knew the rpc had some bigots but oh my god when i stopped writing muses i had NOTHING in common with and started writing any combination of trans/autistic/disabled/mentally i'll characters (because i'm ALL of those things) the way my interactions just plummeted. i literally had someone who Was down to ship with my disabled trans character go behind my back and just. give our plot to their friend with a cis white able bodied fc. didn't even tell me they didn't want to do the plot with me anymore. just stopped replying to interactions and suddenly here's this new character. like god at least back in the day when ppl were gonna be bigots they did it with their whole chest and let us all know what was up so we could steer clear.

you make a good point, the bigotry is covert these days. it's frustrating, because people will 'think' or speak as if they aren't bigoted, and if you point out they are, you're the issue. don't get me started on how people who start conversations about these things are treated. i entered the rpc writing muses i had things in common with, so i was dealing with similar things from the get go. it's something i've come to expect from certain spaces. - x

i just need to yell about this to SOMEONE tell me whyyyyyy i was talking to this cis het white woman in an rp about how frustrating it is as a trans writer who writes trans characters to never have my characters viewed as anything more than a platonic connection (don't get me wrong i loveeeee writing a good platonic connection but when the cis muses have no trouble getting hook ups and fwbs and exes im like. oh ok then.) she's gonna say that i can't just expect to "put someone's character in that kind of situation". girl WHAT! the situation of....treating a trans person like a normal human being??? like i'm not saying everyone has to ship with my characters obvi but in the TEN years i've been writing trans characters they've have had a whopping three ships. in ten years. meanwhile my cis muses have zero issues getting whatever plot under the sun. like just admit yall are freaked out by the notion u or ur characters could find a trans person attractive!!!

the rpc is heinously transphobic and they like to act as though they aren't. i've seen trans muses get treated like shit in twitter and discord rp, i can only imagine how bad it is elsewhere. trans muns are not safe in the community either; they get it much worse. like...we've seen someone get doxxed. - x

Can you please use your platform to inform the RPC to not join anchorage. I've had the worst experience with them, where they kicked me out for a total miscommunication, despite me telling them that I am not a native english speaker, and they also accused me of bubbling, when I made a point to write opens every other week! I'm so embarrassed to have joined after I read what was in the tags about them too! Please help shame them off tumblr!

i believe we have had and published asks about anchorage before, for multiple things! i fear the rpc just doesn't care/they probably have dedicated members at this point, as the admins actively promote in findrps and they've been around for months. i'm so sorry this happened to you, though. i've seen/heard of multiple instances where applicants are not accepted through miscommunication and the admins never take into account that english is not everyone's first language, and it angers me every time. - x

it confuses me how nepofm has been open so long?? it's so exclusionary new members never stay, and out of nearly 80 muses only like 8 of them are black. there are muses who have been there from basically the start that have no substantial/long lasting plots bc of how exclusionary the main clique is and the admin constantly shuts down members concerns by refusing to answer/address questions or comments on certain topics.

have you considered that maybe they're still open because the people complaining about it/not having a good time are complaining instead of leaving? - x
