The thing is, if his character wasn't so well written to the fact that I could only think about his admiration and affection towards Doha I would've suspected him.

To all the people who said they never liked him, I'm sorry but how? He was such a nice guy. There needs to be a justifiable ending for him and a good backstory because without it, the amazing drama is going to fall.

Deukchan is a good character. He's not meant to be the villain. He's not a bad guy. He is someone who has been in love with his best friend for years and had wanted all but pain for him. He tried his best to give him everything. Him being the murderer is fucked up and part of me wishes it could have just been his brother. I wish that it could've been simpler and the brother be the one to kill Eomji. Jaechan is a worse character and I would've liked it if he were the killer instead.

Duekchan is twisted. He killed the lover of his best friend and then helped cover it up but the best friend he was in love with lived life horribly for the next five years. He did nothing. He's an asshole for that, but he's always wanted to confess to the police and the only reason he didn't was because he wanted to create J Entertainment and give it to him. Everyone is being too quick to jump the wagon.

My lovely liar isn't meant to have a "villain", it's just not. Because Jo Deukchan is not a bad guy. Say what you want, I choose to still like Jo Deukchan. I choose to belive that such a smart, calm and collected man would have a much justifiable reason to kill Eomji (because let's be honest, she was a fucking bitch.) Jo Deukchan is not disgusting, he's not a bad guy. He's just someone who deserves his justified ending.
