and another one...
Seems grass fires keep appearing everywhere, and on a regional scale too. This one almost reached the residential houses.

Not so Autumn
Bush fires have been ravaging the mountains for some time now. I heard tourist activities were suspended in some sectors.

Mt. Ulap Revisit
Somewhere in my timeline, I have posted a short background of Mt. Ulap wherein I've mentioned the remains of our people laid in a crevice under a cluster of boulders (https://www.tumblr.com/rugged11th/726004356167712768/mount-ulap-origins).
Browsing through my files, I found a picture (originally in landscape format rotated to portrait for a better fit on android screens) taken by a coed way back in 2009 I think.
I've been hiking to the place a couple of times or so during the pandemic years but forgot to revisit the boulders. I guess my mind was occupied with something else during those times I was there... darn!

OMENS
The story goes that in the olden times, some Cordilleran tribes consider it a bad omen whenever the moon gets too close and so they would climb atop the highest peak and throw spears at the moon in an effort to drive it away.
