Three questions I wish had been asked in the Trump immunity arguments before SCOTUS:
If the President could hypothetically order assassinations for political purposes but still be immune from prosecution as commanding troops is an official act, couldn’t Biden order the assassination of Trump?
As above, could not a president order the assassination of one or more Supreme Court justices to get more judicial appointments, since both commanding troops and making judicial appointments are official acts?
As above, and if impeachment and conviction are first required to permit prosecution of a former president, could not the president order the assassination of one or more members of Congress to prevent a conviction in the Senate, thus using crimes to immunize himself for life?
