Of course going to San Francisco and showing his face would attract Dedsec, especially Ray, but he hadn’t thought they would show up so quickly. But it’s not like Jay hadn’t been prepared for it.

The DJ was still pissed, the alarm on his Phone going off as he was just finished smoking his cigarette and wanted to get back into the Club, trading places with his Decoy. Since the Accident with Ray and Aiden, he always made sure to have a Decoy nearby, getting killed really wasn’t his thing.

Jay instantly darted towards where he thought the other could have run into. And god he was angry when he was faced with a glowing - was that a rabbit? - mask. Not only did he needed to deal with those cringy followers but also with another guy that thought a glowing animal mask would be cool. Fucking imposters.

And then this annoying voice.

Hands roughly push the guy against the wall, pinning him there with fingernails digging into his clothing.

“What the fuck does dedsucc want from me?”

.//_ Rye tilts his head, mask emitting a ‘:P’ emoticon and rabbit ears twitching organically. Damn- the tricky rat had a double- there’s no way he could’ve scurried here as fast as he did, god damn vermin. The ears of his mask lower, and he’s about to bolt- nerves firing- until Defalt pins him to the brick wall. 

.//_ Rye isn’t going to let this slide, but he steels himself, facing the other’s faceless mask with his own and even having the nerve to flash a ‘;^)’ at him. “ Someone’s a little too excited, wouldn’t you think? “, he states, trying to hide the wariness from his altered voice. He’s face to face with Defalt, the Emporor Rat- who faced toe to toe with Ray and the Fox and had lived, apparently. 

.//_ A ‘O_O’ is flashed, and the rabbit tilts his head. “ Why do I want to see you? Isn’t the answer obvious? The Rat pops up in San Fran; you can’t expect a curious little rabbit like me coming in to see for himself? “, his voice grew a bit cold for a second, though it was only to fufill the personality his persona as a hacker held. Surely he would understand.

The young hacker entered the Dot Connexion, instantly earning the looks of the fellow partygoers with his bright neon mask; but not questioned and was shrugged off as some sort of Defalt fan, with the neon rabbit mask he owned. Wading through the crowd, he readied a hack in his smartphone, a single task in mind; to create a breach in Defalt’s systems and allow a way for Dedsec to get the info they needed to truly determine if Defalt is a problem or not. Finally reaching the main dance floor, the younger male altered the color of his mask as to not stand out amidst the rave clad in blue and green glow-in-the-dark sticks.

He started the hack; riding out the storm, even making direct eye contact with the DJ above as he breached his system. As the hack was finishing; h0ps flashed the other a winky emoji before letting the Dedsec logo animate on his mask and Defalt’s monitors, making sure to change his visor color back to it’s bright yellow. And with that, Rye turned around, rushing to the exit of the Dot Connexion, turning into an alleyway and bursting into a full sprint- thinking he would actually get away with it until- 

h0ps skids to a stop, sneakers rubbing against the concrete as he found his path blocked off by an angry rat.
