im so upset i hate my sister and my mom and my dad and my grandma even though shes dead i still hate her

the ONLY family member worth it is my little sister (practically my fucking daughter atp because lord knows my mom neglects the fuck out of her)

i was too little to be given a child to take care of. I was 4. now im noticing my little sister's issues and it makes me want to fucking die i feel so guilty. i think she might be developing an ed because her whole life my whole family praised her for being stick thin (my grandmas nickname for her was literally Skinny) and now she's growing (AS SHES SUPPOSED TO. SHES FUCKING 12) and she told me about how she sometimes "replaces meals with water" so she doesnt get fat I'M GOING TO KILL MY MOM AND MY GRANDMA AND MY BIG SISTER AND ANYONE ELSE WHO FUCKING TIED HER WORTH TO HER WEIGHT SHE DOESNT DESERVE THIS SHIT

supporting a loved one in psych○sis (as somebody who experiences it)

please correct me if i have something wrong. feel free to add your own experiences and what helps you. my experiences are different from others and vice versa. i am not a d○ct○r.

•psych○sis definition - a period of time, ranging from hours to even days of weeks, of disconnect of reality, such as hallvcinations and delvsions.

hallvcinations: what are they?

•hallvcinations are senses that are not truly there. there are mutliple types of hallvcinations, such as :

○auditory hallvcinations. hearing noises, such as voices, ambiance, animalistic noises and whispering. in my experience, i hear things that align with travma, such as screaming.

○visual hallvcinations. seeing something that does not exist. this can be from seeing loose figures, colours in your visions like splodges and stars, and animals (these are just examples. they can interfere with real objects (for example, i see roaches in my food.)

○sensory hallvcinations. feeling things that arent there. these can range from light feelings of touch, to extreme pain. i personally feel hands over parts of my body, and feelings of being hit

○smell and taste hallvcinations. pretty self explanatory. smells like raw sewage with no explanation, things like that.

note:some of these may happen to you, and not be hallvcinations (e.g spots in vision can have other causes such as blindness) . some of these may happen to you and not be psych○sis.

how to help a loved one hallvcinating (from personal experience. i am fully open to adding on.)

-do not fuel them. they. can fully believe these are real. do not try make them concentrate on it, with comments like "what does it look like? what is it saying?"

-it is not a "ah its not real, just ignore it lollolll!!1!!". it is very real to the hallvcinator, especially if accompanied by delvsion.

-treat it as it feels. for example, if im seeing people, my bf takes me somewhere else. if i see bugs in my food, he'll switch it with his own plate or give me something different.

-aim to help, not to cure. dont baby them. we arent infants.

-bombarding people with "you okay????" isnt helpful. if they are hearing voices, the last thing they need is another annoying voice/hj/lh

-personally, when im hearing voices, i need noise cancelling headphones, or something to block out noise. but obviously, ask the hallvcinator first.
