On Sunday, I decided to prep overnight oats for the week and I am SO grateful I did. . I never had to think about breakfast, I just grabbed a jar! AND I added my superfood powder to get tons of protein in, keep myself full, and make everything taste like my favorite food: CHOCOLATE 😍 . Seriously though, meal prepping can be tedious, but is so worth it. Who else loves overnight oats!? . . Gotta share my current favorite non-scale victory!! . . These jeans were TIGHT at the end of the summer. I couldn’t wear them when I had to sit for long lengths of time without feeling trapped and uncomfortable. . . Less than 2 months later, they’re so loose I have to wear my shirts tucked in to help them stay up 😂 . . Feeling SO blessed recently. . I’ve been struggling with my relationship with food for a while. I had started to feel like I had more control over my eating, but then I felt like I was losing it. . I was really upset by this; I just wanted to feel like I was in control and not the food. I needed help. . As I’m in this struggle, a coach on my team admits she is tired of only half-committing to good, healthy eating and asks who wants to work with her to get back to being all in. . Just when I was feeling low, feeling out of control, feeling alone, this woman happens to want to start a group within our team that is food-focused. If that isn’t evidence of God’s plan, I don’t know what is. . SO, if you’ve read this far, I am taking control of my eating with an incredibly realistic program that isn’t limiting me and I am feeling fuller and healthier than I have in a WHILE - and it’s only been 3 days. . Pure JOY today after finishing my first full body HIIT workout! . This morning I was TERRIFIED to do this workout. I was going to push it off and do it tomorrow instead because I was THAT nervous about how it would go. . Well, I DID IT!! And I feel AMAZING because I realized I am so much stronger than I think. . The hardest part about working out or getting your nutrition on point isn’t the act of doing it, it’s getting over the mental hurdles your brain puts up. A positive mindset is KEY. .
