Social/ Love 

coming here I knew I was going to have to make new friends. and that would take time. However, I can make friends very easily when I decide to.when I am myself, and I am happy. I know from experience that when you move to a new placed fall into the trap of “ being the new girl” or being shy, you can fall into depression easily. but this time it hasn't bothered me much. I am extremely tired by the time I get home on the weekdays I am exhausted. I just eat and watch Netflix and fall asleep, and on weekends I spend time with my mom which is very nice. of course id like some friends. I just having been here tong enough for it to bother me. It would be nice to hang out with a few people other than my mom lol. So I've been thinking, “ What would I tell myself when I just moved to Michigan and didn't have any friends? I would say, theyll come. but they'll come in ways you don't expect. and they come earn you are yourself and just living your life.and the more experiences you go out and have, the more you'll make. and if someone shows a likeing or interest in your friendship, don't brush it off. 

its hard to do any of that without a car though. so im gunna have to speed that up. After that. im going to have to spend time with people I know and just go explore.so times making new friends is awkward but you just gotta push through that the first few times.

of course I miss mu family and friends up north, but I try not to think about it. I actually never have second guessed my choice to come here. it needed to happen. I didn't need to struggle like that anymore. I am a lead teacher and im getting a nice car and im saving money and losing weight. and onto of that, im not doing it alone this time. this I what I have to do to get ahead in life.

I am so exhausted after and before work that I am really on edge that I am irritable with my mommy when I really don't mean to be and I don't pay much attention to gram. sometimes I forget how invested in my future they are. razorback too. I guess I just haven't formed as much of a bond with them as I have nana and papa.but why not start? sometimes gram is overwhelming but I just try to chalk it up to her being old and set in her ways. I talked to her last night. she's very lonely. and I think thats a lot of what drives the behavior that upsets me. she feels like she's losing control.. because she is. she cant do the things she used to. she cant go see the people in her life as much. she lost George. the only thing she has to talk about is us. the only thing she can control is when we come home, if we call her back. etc etc.and im trying to be more understanding. I need stop being so self involved. a ten minute convo a day can make all the difference.

this week i have been doing a lot of revision because from Monday i am going to be doing work experience at the hospital! I’m going to try and get some work done next week but i doubt i will have the energy! Nevertheless, i am super excited ✨
