I hate to be the one to tell you this but give up on not annoying people. Bother them. Text your friends first. Sing out loud to that song you like. Say hi to strangers. Take up space and prove you exist because no one is waiting around to ask you to.

Last night during the Tent Massacre in Rafah, Palestinians couldn't find their injured loved ones and the remains of those who were murdered by the Israeli military. They only had phone flashlights to look for them. Parents were using their bare hands collecting their children's body parts.
Palestinians were trying to put out the fire using sand since the state of Israel cut access to water.
This is genocide.

nothing makes me happy, and the people i call my own don’t really care. it’s incredible to still have this blog, a record of my teenage sadness and loneliness. i thought, at 23, it would be better and while my conditions have improved the loneliness hasn’t.
and sure, maybe i am to blame for my own unhappiness. i’m not placing all the blame on anyone else. but when i try to make choices that benefit me or are more attuned with what i want or how i want to live— even if those choices are only temporary adjustments — the response i receive makes it clear that other people benefit from my unhappiness.
i lack fulfillment, i lack joy, and i’m steadily losing my will and drive.
