hi all - I hope everyone is doing well. regarding all the things that have happened/resurfaced/come out about certain queens I would just like to clarify that I no longer support them. im in the process of deleting reblogs and original posts about said queens but I’m also a full time student and there are years’ worth of posts so it’s taking me quite a while! the reason I’m posting this is to say if you see anything of mine featuring problematic queens I no longer support them, i just will not have got round to deleting the post yet.

racism, transphobia, homophobia,  anti-semitism, ableism, misogyny and all and every form of prejudice will NEVER be okay. queens who have done and said such things should not be supported.

please do educate yourselves about such matters and know that if you are not a part of the marginalised group(s) offended by these queens their apolgies are not yours to accept.

here is a link to a doc she made describing it. this is despicable and I am beyond sorry that he did this to her. i truly hope she is met with compassion and benevolence and is able to begin her path to recovery. coming out with information like this is incredibly difficult and I am so so proud and so so sorry for her.

here’s a TLDR breakdown for you of everything the young girl detailed about her experiences with Sharon Needles, and other queens.

TW/ trigger warnings for abuse, mentions of self harm, grooming, mentions of mental illness, racism, mention of drugs and alcohol, fat phobia.

• began friendship with fan when she was aged 15.

• she details Sharon as: “toxic, manipulative, predatory, gas lighting, racist, abuser”.

• after a falling out (due to OP accidentally leaking a song of Sharon’s), they became friends again in 2017.

• a few months after their fall out, they ran into eachother and Sharon said to her: “you got fat”, “cut deeper”, and vocalised to the rest of the people in the room that OP was probably going to kill herself that night.

• aged 15 OP attempted suicide. when Sharon found out OP was sent videos of Sharon (via Vine) yelling “eat more pills”. OP also states that as a result of Sharon’s comments, she used Sharon “as inspiration to hurt myself harder...”

• Drag race cruise. OP aged 16. Sharon pressed her lips against OP’s and blew weed into her mouth. OP described “I never even had my first kiss yet and a 32 year old man was blowing drugs into me mouth to mouth”.

• further encouraged OP to self harm that night.

• OP described being choked by Sharon; “[...] I don’t remember what she said exactly but she started growling something involving ‘I’m Sharon motherfucking Needles’ and mounted me with her thighs around my neck with her crotch digging into me to the point I was choking. I can still remember the feeling of her jeans against my neck.”

• mentioned the drugs to Michelle Visage; as a result Sharon got in trouble with World Of Wonder; “I think Aaron got in trouble [...] I guess (W.O.W) let him off with a warning; however he was very mad at me.”

• “she learnt I didn’t like alcohol and got a kick out of convincing me to take sips”

• “she got out of drag without warning whipped her dick out [...] (this was like a day after Alaska pulled her dick out in front of me when no one else was around and said ‘oh ur 15 I shouldn’t have done that’) [...] I saw my first two penises in real life like a day apart from eachother at 15 years old without consent and they were grown men.”

• “I have memory of him playing with my boobs one day during a meet and greet”

• “he got extremely drunk and punched me very hard I think in the arm [...] he hit me really hard in the thigh with a knife”

• aged 17, Sharon repeatedly asked OP over FaceTime what she masturbates to.

• aged 16, Sharon convinced OP to stop taking medication (cold turkey) as “pills were bad or made me crazy”

• “she lied often and would force me to stop talking to some of my friends and discouraged me from being a fan of certain other drag race girls.”

• “she sent me the nudes of another teenager (a boy) she was friends with who was like 17 at the time.”

• “she fat shamed me and a bunch of other people”

• “I witnessed her be cruel and talk shit about fans, people who didn’t like her, and people in general [...]”

• “she slapped or groped my butt at least once when I was 16”

• “there are vines of her with 16 year old me [...] made me act like we were french kissing”

• “Aaron loved the hard n word. He thought racism was funny. He thought blackface was funny. He loved slurs.”

• “racist jokes, fatphobic jokes, ableist jokes, transphobic jokes, sexist jokes, antisematic jokes, AIDS jokes, creepy jokes”
