Amanda and Sarek returning to the Vulcan embassy on Earth after a formal dinner
Amanda: “Michael, Spock, Sybok - Sarek and I are home.”
Sarek: “Adun’a, it’s quiet.”
Amanda: “I know. Something’s wrong.”
Sarek *looking at the counter*: “One of the children left a data pad.”
Amanda: “What does it say?”
Sarek: “It’s from Spock,
‘Mother, Father - Sybok, Michael, and I have gone to Dover, Massachusetts to investigate the possible existence of the Dover Demon. Sybok wishes to, in his words, vibe with the spectral entity, Michael will be operating a tricorder to monitor any energy fluctuations with Sybok’s interactions , and I have been tasked with recording the event with Father’s holocamera - Sybok said I was the most logical choice due to being meticulous with its operation. Mother, do not worry about rations, Michael has packed rations for 5 days for all of us and Sybok has an arcane Earthen book on natural remedies. Additionally, I-Chaya has accompanied us, so we will all be protected. Peace and long life; to borrow a Earthen colloquialism: hope to see you soon.”
Sarek: *Repressing his emotions*
Amanda: “Oh, you can bet we’re going to see you soon.”
Sarek: *speaking into his comlink* “Syvar, ready the hovercar, Lady Amanda and I will be leaving immediately.”

the thing with doctor who's historicals in more recent years is that there's clearly an aim to educate there - that's why they've had episodes about rosa parks or ching shih or the partition of india. but by focusing on alien invasions and time travel over the history, they've shot themselves in the foot and diminished that aim
