i have a pretty good feeling this beautiful transgender colour Gliophorus species i found yesterday might be G. ostrinus - a rare endemic species known from only one collection, with just one definite iNaturalist sighting. Sometimes people confuse very pink or purple specimens of G. versicolor, G. lilacipes, or G. lilacinoides with the rarer G. ostrinus, however the brilliant dark blue/purple color of the juveniles seems uniquely characteristic of G. ostrinus 🤔... i will hopefully share more photos once i can import them all !! ⚧️ 🏳️‍⚧️ 💗
