“I can’t say I’ve heard of it.” It sounded like a story he ought to know, so he was keen on learning more if she had the time to educate him. Although, catching the disappointed tone in her voice and watching as it dulled her features made him wonder if he would have to ask for the details another time. There was nothing more heartbreaking than a woman that couldn’t find satisfaction in her work. “How long have you been working on it for? A little break might do you some good if you’ve been at it for a while. I could even make you something to to eat!”

“Hm? You haven’t? Well, if you’d like, I can tell you some later!” Myth and history interweaved together making up the culture of the wondrous islands in the skies. Often scouring through the archives past her curfew, Zelda knew almost all of the legends surrounding Skyloft (a few of those legends would bring a melancholic sense of nostalgia something she had found to be strange). 

As one who would work so deeply, time would sometimes elude her. Suffice to say, she was shocked to see that the skies had a little shade of range.

“I guess I lost track of time, but I know it’s been a while now,” a sheepish giggle flows from her lips at that. “That sounds great, actually! But would it really be alright if you did that? I don’t want to bother you for a little snack.”

The idea of even considering calling himself anything related to a hero was a foreign concept. “Oh, no, I’m afraid I’m no hero.. Not even close.” Ravio mumbled from the ground. If she could have seen his face it was flushed crimson with embarrassment. And if this whole scenario didn’t prove his point to her nothing would. Heroes weren’t this clumsy. “But I’m fine, really! Don’t worry about me.” Somehow he figured that his constant reassurance would only make her worry more.

He slowly pushed himself up from the dirt as he rubbed a sleeve across his face, wiping away the debris that had clung to his skin. Well, if nothing else he would be a good distraction for monsters. A heavy sigh snuck its way out of his throat. “I should have just stayed in bed…” Though as he waited patiently for his new friend to retrieve his hood, she paused.

“Oh, do I?” He had finally found his way back to his feet as he cautiously readjusted the items in his bag. He wasn’t about to let another magical weapon make a bigger fool out of him. At least it hadn’t been the Fire Rod to accidentally misfire. Small miracles.

“Well, before you ask if I hit my head too hard I can promise you I didn’t.” Ravio wanted that to be clear, especially after seeming so flabbergasted about her own origins and here he was about to sound just as crazy. “Soooo you came from the sky and.. I came from what amounts to a hole in a wall.” Best to keep things fairly simple for now. No need to go into extreme detail.

“I’m not from here. At all. When I said I was lost, I meant REALLY lost.”

She was at a loss for words for a moment. Yes, there was indeed a part of her that truly wanted to ask if that impact truly affected him but she stills her tongue. A small trickle of doubt would flow into her thoughts as Zelda tries to find the right thing to say. But what could she say? What should she say? His claim had sounded outlandish, to say the least. But she was quick to clear those doubts ‘pon coming to the quick realization that her story sound just as bizarre as his and sure enough they would dissipate away. “You’re far away from home too then.” Empathy resounds in her heart for she could understand how it felt to be so far from home.   

“Then... we should find a way to get you back home. You came from a wall, right? Can it be any wall or is there a catch to it?”

A sorrowful gaze entered Lucas’ eyes. Perhaps if he had done a bit more to stop all this, this could’ve been a very different first impression on this new visitor. Still, all he can do is work with what’s left of nature around him and make the most of what he’s got.

“Well, there aren’t many places close by other than Sunshine Forest…” But even then, the smouldering ashes that used to be his grandpa’s house further past there? Next to Drago Valley… the Dragos! They were still part of nature, yet Lucas had resolved to keep them secret and safe from this subtle invasion. As much as he’d like to show her them, he can’t.

“Th’ only animals that’re so common around here anymore are th’ frogs… Save frogs. They’re uh, safe.”

Seeing one so young carrying a heavy weight of sorrow would only cause for her heart to sing a low hymn of grief. He shouldn’t have to deal with this. No one should. And that was the true tragedy that she could sense from this wicked place. Whatever hope this place once had was diminished away, the city crushing away what was left.

Is this truly a utopia? 

“Oh? Is it possible for us to get there then? I’d love to see the forest.” An opportunity arises to get out of this place and she was quick to take grab hold of it. She had wanted to get away from here. Somewhere, away from the place that marred the planet with glass and stone was a welcomed change. A place where she could hear Farore’s gentle and sweet hummings that boasted of nature once more.

Hello Stranger

WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT ANOTHER PRINCESS!! But princess is debatable with Kumatora... BUT I’VE ACTUALLY PLAYED AS HER BEFORE! She’s a lot of fun and I would love to pick her up again when I get the chance. She’s pretty rough around the edges but she means well and actually carries a lot of wisdom too despite her foulmouthed ways. And god, I could go on and on with why she’s great.

Hello Stranger

KAT!!! Ok so confession time, I used her as face claim for an oc I had since she fits what I had in mind. That said, when I watched the cutscenes for the game she was in I fell in love with her. She’s like a superhero, that’s the best way I can describe her to you. She does the right thing because she wants to, that’s literally it there’s no other reasoning behind it. Of course... she causes so much property damage because of her powers and it’s a miracle she doesn’t get charged up the butt. But, I already play Zel and she’s upbeat like Kat. I don’t want to play too many characters that are the same. But maybe someday I’ll play as her...
