the apostle has a keen eye for sweets. most of the time his devout flock offer him their own baked goods but with the way the county has been in shambles lately there hasn't been much showing up, which is fine. he would never expect as such but he had heard of the small bakery that might just have what he's looking for . or at least he thinks until he is reminded that the business is closed. that also hadn't occurred to him since the doors were unlocked. ❝ oh , ❞ the seed brother says genuinely surprised. ❝ i'm sorry i was just hoping to find something sweet to go with my evening tea. ❞

𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐄 and as much as it is what the asgardian hoped for, he wonders how long it will truly last. all the heightened emotions of chaos are in the past and this empath can finally BREATHE without them bogging him down. not that he would ever complain about such a thing since helping others with this gift is what he was literally born for.

can you imagine growing up on asgard with the abilities that paul possesses. my gut tells me that having emotional ties to everyone and everything would just be leading a very heavy existence. but it also controls him in ways that leads him to be just as emotional and compassionate. like he’s no warrior and i think he’d be ridiculed at some point for being so soft and mushy.

he’s already considered the runt of the asgardian population. he’s not built or tall . he’s an orphan at that , but his abilities are tied to emotions and he has to feel everyone else’s too. it can’t be easy. 

EVERY aspect of him has to do with those emotions ( MOST OF WHICH ARE NOT HIS OWN ) having all this power over him. no one seems to understand tbh unless they have the ability themselves. and i’m in my feels again cause his whole life, not having any family, he mainly just wanted to be accepted. but since he’s not some big powerful fighter he felt just like some outcast.

(Marvel verse) Has Paul met Love yet? What does he think of her, if he has?

YES! upon thor's initial return to new asgard to introduce her and ensure that everyone would get a chance to meet her and she could meet them. paul had been tending to injured and calming those terrified parents whose children were kidnapped. his empathic abilities came in very useful as did his healing powers. he's one of the main healers within the infirmary.

he truly cares for her even though he finds her temper a little easy to ignite. but lbr anyone thor cares about will always have a special place in paul's heart.

(Marvel verse) Which is your favourite realm to travel to? Have you been to all of them yet?

i have traveled many of them. not all but most. i do feel connected to midgard in a lot of ways. perhaps it is my connection to nature or how the people of the realm are very intriguing, but i am partial to everything about the realm and its people.

the   apostle   is   pure   of   heart   or   at   least   tries   to   be.   his   intentions   are   solid   even   if   the   executions   leave   much   to   be   desired.   he   is   not   strong   or   witty   or   prepared   for   whatever   his   siblings   have   started   but   he   can   help   in   other   ways   .   already   emmett   has   hesitated   and   doubted   paul’s   motivations   but   that   is   expected.      comforting   is   paul’s   first   instinct   but   it   seems   to   be   emmet’s   to   reject   .   

gracefully   ,   the   seed   brother   backs   away   when   his   tactics   are   not   wanted   ,   albeit   still   a   little   nervous   about   the   reactions   he   might   garner   from   the   deputy.   his   good   nature   overriode   his   fear   when   he   offered   the   safe   haven,   but   his   guard   is   still   not   down.      ❝      i   am   only   trying   to   help   so   i’m   sorry   if   i   offended   you   .   ❞   without   a   doubt   there   is   nothing   that   paul   could   say   that   would   ensure   that   emmett   trusts   him.   they   are   far   from   that   point   but   they   can   be   allies   and   help   each   other   can’t   they   ?

Cascade Hills; a sanctuary for any and everyone that needs it apparently including the very same deputy that had supposedly brought hell to Hope County. He was thankful for the shelter, the break in the violence that this whole state seemed to manifest out of thin air, though he isn't sure if he fully trusts this particular brother. The man had seemed to either completely miss the memo the other four had gotten, or he was just a ploy to catch the deputy off guard. Either way for the time being, he'd take the shelter.

Head is bowed between his shoulders where he sits on a chair, fingers locked at the back of his head; a bowl of whatever left untouched and forgotten on the table in front of him. How was he expected to eat while his gut twisted and gnawed away at itself? While his friends suffered at the hands of this man's brothers?

Emmet assumes the hand placed on his shoulder is meant to be comforting, though it does nothing to stop the way his skin crawls with the contact, and the deputy finds himself quickly shrugging cool hand off, hands falling from his hair. "I haven't failed anything. " Words come harsher than Emmet intends, though it was the truth. He may have faced difficult obstacles and may have been knocked down more times than he could count, but a failure meant stopping and he'd be damned if he'd stop before he got his friends back.

What's your favourite memory with your brothers?

i was far too young when we were separated to remember much more than the awful times we had, but i do recall the times that we'd all stay up at night and just spend time together without our parents knowing. my favorite memory thus far , though, has to be when i reunited with them. it was such a joyous day being with them all at once again and by all by the GRACE OF GOD .

Since Paul likes apple butter, does he like other apple dishes or condiments? Other fruits?

he loves any type of fruits. especially ones that he can simply go out and pick himself. he loves the apple orchard in holland valley. most of his diet consists of fruits and veggies anyway with the exception of fish, so you'll be hard pressed to find a fruit that he doesn't like.

[ BARE ]:          as they get undressed, the sender gently places a soft, tender kiss against the receiver’s bare shoulder.

𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐥𝐲   𝐡𝐞   𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐬   𝐡𝐞𝐫   𝐚𝐬   𝐡𝐞   𝐮𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲   𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬   .   no   shame   or   expectations   with   it   as   they   sit   on   the   edge   of   the   bed   .   certainly   she   can   do   it   herself   but   paul   loves   to   aid   her   and   he   does   so   with   gentle   smiles   and   soft   touches   .   the   best   part   is   that   paul   allows   here   to   lead   the   way   by   removing   his   own   shirt   first   before   he   gets   to   hers   .      there’s   only   them   and   quiet   contemplation   with   only   the   comfort   of   each   other   to   ease   the   tension   of   a   hard   day   .   @helenaiism​   knows   today   was   tough   for   him   ,   his   aches   only   getting   more   agitated   with   how   much   he’s   had   to   do   today   ,   but   never   would   he   complain   .   still   though   ,   she   leans   over   pressing   her   lips   to   his   bare   shoulder   before   placing   her   head   there   .   no   words   needed   .   they   never   are.      not   with   them   .

Carefully, like a gentle rain on dry Earth

You've been left beaten down and by someone you really trusted and loved, so now love doesn't come easy for you. You want it to. You want to love and be loved, but you're not sure you remember how. So you need someone else to take the lead. They have to be gentle and sweet and patient. They have to watch out for you, and make sure youre doing okay, because most days you feel a little fragile, if not totally shattered. But someone will come along who will put those pieces back together again.
