First 86 It show without Jon and it went pretty well.  Good response, decent turnout. One of the out of towners (split layer) had to drop out because of vehicle trouble I believe so Ciggie replaced them on short notice.

2009/07/30 @ Babylon: Cripplers with Year Zero for Bradfest

It’s amazing that I’m still finding shows after 11 years that I haven’t logged - this was a low key, maybe private-ish show for Brad’s birthday at Babylon.  We didn’t know him very well at the time, but I think he asked us to play this at Gaga fest a couple weeks earlier. Would definitely become closer friends and Year Zero would end up being one of my all time Ottawa favorites (and probably already was at the time). Devin said it was fun, but I don’t remember much except maybe this is when I learned that two blocks is still too far to lug gear home.

2019/12/20 @ Meow That’s Hot: 86 It at the CRA Xmas bash

Jon revived the traditional CRA Xmas show this year on a bit of a smaller scale and it ended up being the first show fr 86 It. It was a really fun night, reminiscent of the old days and our short (5 song) set went off without a hitch.  A great trial run.

Hey friends, We've had some great success with our SLO Tom hosted Open Stage nights at MEOW since opening and now we're ready to ratchet up the volume a bit in celebration of the holiday season. After a break of a couple of years we're going to have a Centertown Recording Alliance holiday bash for the very first time at MEOW. If this goes well perhaps we can make it an annual tradition.
