alright, ladies. these line distributions are fucking ridiculous. as a fan, i shouldn’t have to feel like i have to fight other fans on the fact that OTHER MEMBERS DESERVE LINES. i should be accustomed to shuhua getting the bare minimum, but this is fucking ridiculous lol. no identifiable lines on any of the bsides? soojin is thankfully beginning to get more lines, but minnie and soyeon are still garnering the majority. the only time soyeon is not on top is on the bside track ‘maybe’, however she makes up for this by taking up 44.8 seconds of ‘luv u’. i get it, soyeon is extremely talented and no one should be debating that, but it’s ridiculous to take up that much a song when your other member only gets 4.5 seconds. it’s been a whole ass year and shuhua has improved her korean and the only way to improve confidence and language skill is the chance to apply it. as for ‘oh my god’, soyeon is not the lead vocalist or the main vocalist, yet she got all of the vocal lines that could’ve been given to yuqi or miyeon (the fucking main vocal). i do not give a single fuck about people who say “they let soyeon pick their lines because they believe she knows them best!!!!!” she is a very talented producer, but it shows an extreme lack of respect for your other members when you give them the bare minimum and instead take it all for your own. you’re in a band, you are not solo. as a leader and a producer, it is your job to cater to everyone, and soyeon is failing in that aspect.

and about that, people calling us haters for pointing this out are lacking in observation. it is not a joke when people call gidle soyeon and friends. who consistently has the highest line distributions? soyeon. soyeon is the only member who is guaranteed to be in the top two of line distribution. it is the basic facts of the line distributions, you cannot argue that. i love soyeon, she is extremely talented and an amazing producer, but i’m tired of only listening to soyeon while the other members have to fight for a fair line. there are numerous ways to give fair line distributions where everyone gets a chance to shine and soyeon still gets her badass rap break. there is no excuse for why the other members shouldn’t have lines.

we’ve seen this before with 4minute and exo. members leave when they are neglected. i do not want another mess to be made out of my girls.
