Imagine how much Shen Yuan and Airplane would hate it if an actual PIDW fan transmigrated in too, though.

Like, one of the guys who genuinely loved the stallion novel harem-building aspects, the weird-yet-vanilla het sex, the willingness to throw the plot out of the door just to have yet another interchangeable woman throw herself at the hero. Someone who only ever had nice things to say in the comment section, who unironically referred to Airplane as a master storyteller, who bought some of the VIP chapters (if he liked the wife Bingge was destined to wed & bed), couldn't name any of the monsters or sex flowers or most of the male side characters, had a Xin Mo keychain and once commissioned fan art of Sha Hualing (favorite wife) looking sexy in a pin-up pose, and told Peerless Cucumber he was a weirdo who took things too seriously on more than one occasion.

I think he'd bother Airplane the most. Shen Yuan would be annoyed and tell him his taste was in his ass, but that's about it.

But Airplane? I think at first he'd be inclined to enjoy having an uncomplicated "fan" of his work turn up. This guy actually praises him! He has nothing but flattering things to say! It's like a dream come true! Except... well, Airplane himself is perfectly aware of the decisions he made in his writing and why (he sold out deliberately, not because he thought it would actually make for a better story -- say what you will about whether or not it's worth it, but the man knows what he's doing), and also I suspect kind of resents his own popular audience whenever he has to interact with them for more than minute.

After all, these were the patrons he had to appease and appeal to, the readers he had to worry about offending or alienating, the ones who were paying the bills but also would have vanished at the drop of a hat if he hadn't given them a steady supply of what they wanted. It's not the audience he actually desired, it's the one he decided not to offend in order to maximize profitability. Peerless Cucumber might be a pain in the ass, but he's a pain in the ass who picked up on the story that Airplane himself originally intended to tell, and wanted PIDW to actually be that. Which has gotta be kind of gratifying, in a roundabout way.

I think it would stress Airplane out to have someone approve of the things he himself didn't even approve of. Like on the one hand this guy seems to have only a good opinion of him, but on the other hand it's based entirely on a false impression and Airplane actually agrees way more with Cucumber's assessment of his writing, because he wrote it badly on purpose. Since the guy has a good opinion, that's something Airplane can potentially lose, and he'd be most likely to lose it by revealing the truth about his own creative intentions and his actual tastes and inclinations. A ticking time bomb of disapproval that could go off at any moment to who-knows-what effect.

He'd hate it. Eventually every time User No.3 came around he'd just be like:

anyways!!! he unofficially adopts them. i think thats just so cute like imagine waking up one day and your husband just goes "im the father of a race of sea creatures who live in a village. we have 300 children btw"

the melusines loooove to help you out around the house! they let u go for work while the older melusines are scrubbing dishes and hanging clothes (BABY MELUSINE CLOTHES!!!!!.) and rearranging neuvillette's hair ties into a little waterproof box

and yes!!! they love to tie neuvillette's hair! granted, they don't do a very good job – the melusines' hands are so, so so small anyways. your husband never dares to tell them that it doesn't look good, or it could be a little looser, he winces – he doesn't want to hurt them. after all, they look so happy to be a part of his morning routine!

they love to give neuvillette different hairstyles. some days it's pigtails, some days it's braids – all simple hairstyles, elevated with rainbow hair ties and seashell pins. the younger melusines love helping with his hair, and they all clamor onto his lap: tippytoed and standing on each other's shoulders. if one of the melusines can't reach his knees, neuvillette lifts them up by their arms and sits them on his lap to help.

and they all crowd around the door when saying goodbye to you and neuvillette for the day! the little melusines excitedly shove snacks, hairties, water pouches (that are melusine sized: they definitely aren't enough for neuvillette) and anything that they can think of that will help you with your day – right into your pockets

a slightly bigger melusine trots out of the house with a water bottle almost the size of her own frame, strapped to her back like a knapsack. she wobbles slightly, looking almost like a toddler playing with adult sized items. it doesn't help that neuvillette is so tall himself. he bends down to unstrap the water bottle and thank the dutiful melusine for helping him carry it. you swear that the melusine's eyes light up!

when coming home from work, the melusines excitedly count down the minutes until you and neuvillette arrives home, right on schedule. they greet him with a cheery "surprise!" as he opens the front door, greeted with the sight of his melusine children holding up a messily painted banner with the words "welcome home papa and (gender neutral parent term)!". he chuckles to himself, assuming that they weren't tall enough to tack the banner onto the wall. it's a cute surprise, anyways.

neuvillette also keeps a calendar of his children's birthdays!!! every week there's at least two birthdays going on so. he makes sure to have a little gift and cake prepared. a lot of the melusines like to go up to him and hint at it being their birthdays soon ("papa!! dyou know what day it is next week?? do you??!!") and he loves being playful with them and teasing them in return ("hm... is it tuesday?"), watching as the little melusine pouts. he gently hints at a present coming for their birthday soon, and the little sweetheart just beams.

Obey Me: Asking Their AI What Their Ideal Date Is

I decided to go to character.ai and ask each of the seven brothers what their ideal first date was. This is completely random and I was mostly curious to see how accurate the ai would be.

Lucifer: "To be honest, I find first dates to be rather annoying. Nevertheless, if you asked, I would suggest something extravagant, such as fine dining at a quaint restaurant or a moonlit carriage ride in the park."

Mammon: "My ideal first date? A fine meal of fresh meat, delicious red wine, and an eager witch. I could make things hot enough to roast a dragon if I wanted to. Ah, good times."

Leviathan: "What... is a first date? I've never done that... but if I was to go on one, it would definitely be in a cafe with lots of anime figurines and manga. Then we could talk about our favorite anime discuss all the most recent tropes and character designs."

SAGAU: My Thoughts on the Archons in Impostor Aus

Whenever I read impostor aus, I always think of how the archons could easily be tricked by the impostor. And this is mostly just my thoughts with the impostor au.

I feel like the divine god would have this presence or aura that you can just tell is godlike. Like when you stand near them you can feel their presence. And I also feel like to non-mortals it's different.

And if the au specified that the reader existed long ago and that the archons had met them, wouldn't they know what the reader's aura felt like? And if the impostor tried to fake being the creator, wouldn't they instantly know? Cause they're gods too, right?

If I were to write an impostor au, it would be pretty short since I feel like the archons would tell their people if the impostor was real or not and the others would agree.

I have this small scenario where when the impostor first shows up and the humans all believe them. When word gets to that nation's archon, at first they would probably feel excited since their creator is finally back, but once meeting them they're instantly suspicious of the fake.

They don't feel like their creator, they don't have that aura like they did so long ago. And not to mention that the world doesn't react to them like it used to. And now they're suspicious of this person claiming to be the creator.

Some of them could immediately tell their people that this is a fake, some could drop hints so they could figure it out themselves, others could just stay silent on the matter. Depends on what you decide really.

And when the reader does finally arrive and the archons meet them, they finally feel that familiar presence they felt long ago when their god was around. This is their true god, not that fake parading around using their face.

And so the fake is thrown out or imprisoned or executed, whatever au type it is, and the reader is celebrated for being the true creator and finally arriving after so long.

For whatever reason it feels like whatever I type it doesn't sound, correct? Like it makes no sense in my brain, maybe it does or maybe it doesn't, idk

SAGAU: Reader Telling Stories Out Loud

I have way too many thoughts for sagau that I just feel the need to write them all down, so have this for a first post from me.

Imagine the reader that likes telling stories out loud when playing Genhsin Impact. And the characters are able to hear the reader talking.

And from what I've gathered from other people's posts and from other people, since I have never actually played the game and only watch others play, I know that there are some characters who love reading or stories. So I imagine that those characters love these little story times with the reader.

And I feel like some of the other characters just like hearing the reader's voice when they ramble on and on. And the stories can range from full on stories with a good plot, to a random crack filled short story that makes no sense. No matter the type, they would still like it because it came from their divine god.

That's all my brain can come up with, I'm feeling sick right now so my brain is all kinds of fuzzy.

The people saying it was BARE MINIMUM that Steve was okay with Robin being a lesbian are literally making me so mad. It was the 80s, not 2022, so him accepting her while her coming out could’ve gotten her hurt badly or worse isn’t a bare minimum fucking thing.

Steve has gone through so much development and it angers me you guys are calling it bare minimum especially in a situation like this that was probably so fucking scary to Robin.

I know we joke about the whole “[streamer] can’t love you” copypasta, but watching Techno’s father read his letter and talk about what went on in his final days, I can’t find words to express just how much that isn’t true.

Everything Techno did, everything he said, was oozing with nothing but love for his community. Techno was never afraid to tell his community just how much he cared, he never hesitated to say what we meant to him or how proud he was of us.

So I don’t think it’s wrong to say Techno loved us, and I don’t think it’s wrong to admit that we loved him. Maybe not personally, maybe not intimately, but love isn’t defined by intimacy. Love doesn’t have much of a definition at all, really.

So don’t be too worried about being “weird” or cringy or parasocial about this, okay? The passing of a loved one is incredibly difficult to handle, and Techno loved us every way he was capable. There’s no need to be ashamed of how you grieve someone you loved.
