I'm a beginner at vulture culture, any advice you can give me? Did you ever had a bad experience while bone hunting?

Regarding safety:

Do not go bone hunting alone but if you are going to, always tell someone where you are and when you are coming back. If possible, send them your location. (and please charge your phone)

I usually take a knife with me but this is ONLY for emergency cases.

Be aware of your surroundings. (this one seems obvious but falling into a pit and twisting your ankle is no fun)

Don't be stupid as me and never go at night

What you may need:

Plastic bags

Latex gloves

Mask

Paper towels

Water/disinfectant

My worst experience was being followed by a random guy. Every now and then I stopped to look at him and see what he was actually doing, maybe he needed help or something but he'd just gaze at any other way. I thought it was my imagination so I tried my best to lost him (seriously, I took a bunch of weird turns that made no sense) but I couldn't and he was getting closer.

I ran to take the first bus that passed nearby. This time I wasn't exactly at the most isolated location but still, not taking chances.
