It's really hard to explain what I mean but yknow that moment in the show where the protagonist realises who is pulling all the strings and it all clicks into place. But it implicates their companion in the process? And they turn around to tell their companion about their revelation and the shot changes and you can just see the companion is already 5 steps ahead of them. They're got this knowing look and a smarmy smile on their face. And before the protagonist even gets to speak they have a silent moment of "we both know what we know." LITERALLY MY FAVOURITE TYPE OF VILLAIN REVEAL.

headcanon that after alya found out marinette was ladybug she stopped reposting rena rouge x ladybug art and fanfiction to the ladybug. not because she wasn’t in love with marinette— because she was— but because she didn’t want to make her best friend uncomfortable. i mean, it was embarrassing enough that after she came out as bisexual she told Marinette how in love she was with ladybug, but if she knew how in love she was with marinette? that would be mortifying.

headcanon that marinette noticed. because she has had feelings for alya since the day they met. and god, when she came out of the closet, she felt this huge weight off her shoulders. she didn’t want to be perceived as this predatory lesbian that only went after straight girls. now, she had a chance. but alya was in love with ladybug. and she guessed she found comfort in that, as selfish as it was, that she was the sole person in alyas heart. but fuck, did it hurt, not seeing all those renabug posts. because this changed everything. alya wasn’t in love with her any more. as her perfect self or otherwise. alya was free to love whoever now.

headcanon that one night, during a sleep over, theyre up super late. it’s the first night in a while that they don’t have hero duties or homework. they stay up late watching movies and playing video games. and right before alya falls asleep, marinette asks.

“why do you only post ladynoir art on your blog?”

alya wakes up a bit more, but she’s still confused. “what?”

her glasses are crooked on her nose and god, why did she have to look so cute right now. marinettes face flushed. “I,” she looked down at her hands, “i guess i’m asking why you don’t put any renabug art up anymore. am i not good enough as marinette?”

alya sat up from where she was on the couch, straightening her glasses and putting her hands on marinette’s shoulders. “Marinette,” she scolded, “you are perfect. you are so fucking incredible. don’t ever think you’re not good enough.” she sighed before she spoke again. it was now or never, alya. “i just didn’t want to make you uncomfortable with my hopeless crush.”

marinette shook her head. “no, no, don’t worry. i like that you have a crush on ladybug!” marinettes cheeks went brighter than before , “i just mean that-“ what did marinette mean? that she liked the way alyas hair smelled, that she liked how her eyes lit up when she spoke about journalism, that she loved her laugh and how it sounded raspy when she was really happy. no- she couldn’t say any of that. she took a deep breath. “i kind of have feelings for you, alya.”

it was alyas turn to trip over her words, now. because what did one do when one’s celebrity and civilian crush confessed their feelings to you? they had a lot of things to talk about.

headcanon that after a serious battle ladybug forgot who she was for a second and kissed rena rouge in the heat of the moment.

israel has been bombing residential towers, refugee camps, media offices and now there are reports that it plans to bomb two UN run schools in palestine. reminder that many ppl who have been rendered homeless by these bombings have found shelter in these schools. palestine's hospitals are overflowing, their top doctors are being killed in these bombings, and the pandemic is still raging while israel is blocking humanitarian aid as well. these are war crimes. this is a genocide.
