How the hell did Ruby's brain put two and two together i have no idea, her character is all over the place.

This arc has been shoved w so many concepts that weren't explored and everything that has been built up to this point has been thrown the fucking window.

They skipped and speedran everything, they should've just cut down the amount of time Ruby spent gushing over her brother than idk the WHOLE FUCKING MOVIE????

The incest was useless did not bring anything to the story at all other than bait. The movie did not explore Ai all that much and it became a Hikaru centric movie in the later half(which isn't exactly bad but god where's Ai????). Aqua's character has been sidelined for the most of it and Ruby is a mess going back and forth with her development. Like majority of the Characters that SHOULD be involved in this arc are sidelined or turned into a Gag character like Taiki the literal son of Hikaru from Airi, Akane who's been pledging to stop Aqua, hell fucking MIYAKO. We had a chapter of her feeling like she failed her kids and Aka doesn't even make her all that involved tf???

The pacing sucks so bad wtf😭😭 I don't if I've ever read a manga arc that's as messy as this.

kana isn't involved in the revenge plot because aqua made sure that she isn't. he talks to her about mundane things, weird animal facts, silly quizzes, and conversations that doesn't involve revenge/murder. he plays baseball with her, goes out to buy a luggage with her, eats lunch with her, all without any ulterior motives. she is a piece of normalcy he wants to protect

Probably gonna be wishful thinking but the only way this manga will be personally redeemed for me is if aka writes aqkn w shit ton of angst, mutual pining, and slow burn w a big payoff that's like 50+ chapters.
