let’s run down the squad list real quick. honestly have forgot which ones we’ve already released at the start of this month so i’m just going to include the ones i remember and who aren’t perpetually injured/on loan away.

oliver skipp: bench/rotation player.

pierre hojbjerg: starts for and scores frequently for denmark and is widely considered as one of denmark’s best players currently. going to the euros.

radu dragusin: starts for romania and is widely considered one of romania’s best players. going to the euros.

heungmin son: starts for and captains south korea, considered one of the best footballing nations in all of asia. widely regarded as the best players on the south korean national team, the best korean footballer of all time, and the best asian footballer of all time. went to the asian cup.

yves bissouma: starts for mali. went to afcon this year.

richarlison: starts for brazil and has scored some of their most important goals (as seen in the world cup). not going to copa america due to injury.

james maddison: squad player for england. not going to the euros. worth mentioning that southgate only took him to the world cup due to external pressure and he wasn’t called up on frequent occasions even when playing well for leicester.

bryan gil: squad player.

emerson royal: bench/rotation player.

guglielmo vicario: plays for italy and is going to the euros. worth mentioning that many italian fans want him to start over donnarumma and see more potential in him.

if u don’t have many players going for intl tournaments it means u don’t have very good players. considering the prem is one of the best leagues in the world that’s pretty bad 😬 u should have more being called up. so in that sense it is deep and it’s fine to accept that…

truly believe that (after this window where we’ll probably mostly try to go for homegrown talent) people are just going to have to get used to the fact that we’ll scout players from asia and africa as well as smaller european nations lolll ange has across his career looked for talent in places where people neglect to look for it and he’s talked at length about how he believes that great talent can be found anywhere

ppl making fun like "spurs only have four players going to the EUROs they fell off lololololol" like okay. i'm glad 7283638 members of my team aren't going to get every single muscle and bone warped and destroyed during the international competition window actually.

#literally the only players that aren’t injured and are eligible to go are pedro and madders; the former was snubbed (widely accepted fact)#and the latter has some fierce competition in his position #the rest of our players aren’t european personally i see that as an absolute win 😁#the euros aren’t everything LOL copa america is going on as are international friendlies for a lot of our players #ppl who say this are deeply eurocentric sorry not everyone cares abt european continental competitions (🙋🏾‍♂️)
