Multi-Layered Lettering
British graffiti artist Pref explores words and common phrases through unique multi-layered murals. His 3D text is used to create amalgamations of quippy sayings, often placing one word inside of another to give a piece multiple perspectives. In the work below a turquoise “more” subtly shifts into a salmon “less” simply by a twist of the viewer’s head.

Sand Tufas
You could be forgiven for thinking that the otherworldly rock formations in these pictures come from another planet, or from a sci-fi movie perhaps. But they’re actually called sand tufas and they come from right here on earth.
A tufa is a peculiar form of calcium carbonate, and they’re created when calcium-bearing freshwater springs well up through alkaline lake water (which is rich in carbonates). The carbonate and calcium combine and, over centuries, these elements form unusual spires, towering columns, and strange cauliflower-shaped mounds which can reach heights of up to nine metres (30ft). Tufas can only form underwater, and they’re only exposed when lakes are drained or dry out over many years. Check out this collection of pictures compiled by Bored Panda to see these curious formations for yourself.

Skull Armchair
This part is very representative and in line with Gregory Besson creations, who is working on the vanities revisited since 2008. It connects aesthetics and timeless questioning, that the human has against death. Sitting on death and having fun on it is like trying to forget death a moment. The user of this chair will be backwards to death, maybe trying to outsmart it ? This true masterpiece appeals to old and recent techniques for its manufacture. The body of the skull is made of polyester, this technique is used by many carver since the 60s. The seat is leather and installation is Chesterfield type, which requires techniques of 18th century. Different unique finishes are coming and will be available. Get yours here

Island Residence  Peter Rose + Partners
Nestled in the richly wooded grounds of a narrow strip of land on the island of Chappaquiddick near Edgartown, Massachusetts, this single-family residence is part of a collection of environment- and landscape-centric interventions that blur the boundaries between structures and landscape, and between inside and outside. Comprised of four structures – a 6,300 SF main residence, a 630 SF garage, a 270 SF storage shed, and a 130 SF boat house – the site is bounded by the ocean to the west and by a well-protected, shallow bay to the east. The project replaced a house, garage/guest house, and a long driveway running through a meadow, previously located on the site.
