Momo knew she liked Jia. She knew it from the day they met on SIXTEEN, she knew it from the way she saw how Jia danced so effortlessly, she knew it when she was eliminated from SIXTEEEN but her first thought was about Jia instead of how long she trained. She was overjoyed when she got added back to the lineup but one of the main reasons she was so happy was because it meant she would get to debut with Jia. She didn’t care what would happen as long as she could have Jia she didn’t care.

She remembers how she felt when Jia told her about how she kissed Seulgi. She felt hurt. Seulgi didn’t deserve Jia, she didn’t even know Jia’s favorite color, her favorite food, or even her sister’s names! but Momo did. Momo knew almost everything about Jia from her favorite color to her Spiderman obsession, if anything Momo was willing to get a matching Spiderman tattoo with Jia (if she could find a good one that is.) despite all of this, she still decided to support Jia. She still wants Jia to be happy after all. And besides, who knows? maybe Jia and Seulgi would just be a hook up instead of something serious…right?

How wrong she was. Seulgi and Jia not only started dating but they caught dating as well. Which also led to Jia being outed as a lesbian. Momo saw everything they said about her and Seulgi, it made her mad seeing people’s reactions but the love and support the 2 got counteracted the hate in a way. She was happy for Jia but jealous wishing it was her and Jia instead of her and Seulgi.

How she wished fans were saying their congratulations about her and Jia’s relationship more than anything. She wondered how Jia’s lips would feel on her own, wishing that her hugs were more than just normal hugs, she wished that she could hold Jia close against her, breathing in her perfume. She noticed how Jia’s hair got longer since Seulgi apparently liked her even more like that, Momo thought her long hair was beautiful but she did miss her signature short hair. She did love how Jia’s hair was so long it was nearly to her waist, she imagined what it would be like to run her hands in Jia’s hair as she kissed her or how it would feel to have Jia hold her while Momo’s fingers massaged her scalp.

She still remembers the day Seulgi broke up with Jia. She remembers how bad of a breakdown Jia had, her screams being heard all over the dorm. The loud sobs Jia had let out that day will forever haunt her. It took Jia a while to get over Seulgi and Momo was there to help her every step of the way, when Jia would sob at night Momo made sure to be there to hold her. When she saw that Jia had cut her hair she supported it, she briefly understood Jia’s need of control so she understood why Jia did this, instead of giving her a shocked look like Chaeyoung and Tzuyu did she just hugged Jia supporting her. She looked like herself again, her Jia and not the Jia that Seulgi wanted her to be.

Momo sat in Jia’s room on her bed. She usually sat in there with Jia finding the girl’s presence comforting, this time was a bit different though. Her usual clean room did not look as clean as usual, it wasn’t messy but it was clear what had taken place here. A pile of clothes Jia had attempted to shove with her own but they stood out like a sore thumb to Momo since she knew what all of Jia’s clothes looked like.

Multiple bracelets were on her nightstand, as well as a few lip glosses, none of these items belonged to Jia. They didn't blend in with the rest Jia’s stuff like her tattoo gun that she somehow managed to keep a secret from Jihyo, they didn’t blend in like the Spiderman posters she had on her walls or the random pictures of Gwen Stacy she had, they just stood out worse like something that didn’t belong. The worst thing that was there was the bright lip glosses and polaroids, Momo knew that the lip glosses and polaroids were nowhere near Jia’s.

Jia hated bright lipstick and lipglosses since she felt like it clashed with her style and how sticky they can get, the lip glosses also had a fruity scent that she knew Jia hated the smell of since she claimed it gave her headaches at times. The polaroids were obviously not Jia’s, Jia liked polaroids but she liked being the one taking them. Momo liked when Jia took pictures of her since to her Jia really knew how to capture the beauty of something in a single frame even if she would sometimes flip the camera upside down as a way to say that Spiderman took them (something Momo found cute.) She still remembers the day she saw what was really on those polaroids.

she still wasn’t sure what made her pick them up that one day, but she did and the sight of what was on the pictures made her feel sick. A picture that was shaken obviously not taken by Jia but someone else, she was more focused on what it was Jia and the girl were doing in the photo. Jia’s hand was on the lower part of the girls jaw kissing her making Momo feeling sick with a desire of wanting that to be her but also hating the sight. She’d suspected that Jia was hooking up with someone knew after Vivi but she wasn’t sure who but this all confirmed all her suspicions. The cube logo in the background told her it was the cube practice room along with a small appearance of Sooyoung — Jia’s younger sister — her back to them talking with Miyeon, seemingly unaware of what her older sister was doing.

Momo had noticed the way Jia would smirk when someone brought up CLC specifically Sorn, she had noticed the way Sorn had started following Jia on instagram sometimes commenting on the girls pictures. And with this picture it showed Momo that Jia’s current fling was Sorn.

“Are you ok?” Jia’s voice snapped Momo out of her thoughts. Momo nodded, hoping Jia would drop it but instead she moved closer to Momo. She shifted uncomfortably but calmed down feeling Jia’s fingers brush against her cheek moving a few hairs out of her face, the action was so gentle and almost intimate Momo felt her face heat up while Jia smirked slightly.

“Did you hear what I asked you or were you too busy starring at how beautiful I am?” Momo shook her head making Jia chuckle “I was wondering if you wanted to get Jokbal with me and Nayeon tonight? she asked me and we all know how much you love it.” Wow. She remembered her favorite food, sure it was no secret it was her favorite but still. The fact Jia knew naturally made her fall for her even deeper than she realized.

Momo nodded scared to speak because if she did she was scared that it might not come out the way she wanted, Jia smiled giving Momo’s thigh a small tap as she left the room. Momo sighed when she was sure that Jia had left. She loved Jia more than she had originally thought and wished that Jia would only love her back.

Jia laughed pulling away as she left her hand on Momo’s thigh leaving Momo a blushing mess as she attempted to get through the rest of live.

Dahyun was talking to the camera as she filmed a vlog. She was sitting next to Momo who had a smile on her face listening to Dahyun talk as well as flirting with the girl at times. “have you guys seen my shirt?” Jia’s voice could be heard calling out to the living room. “Which one! I know all your shirts, describe it to me!” Momo called out in response, Jia walked into the living room both girls looking up at her off camera. Jia smirked as her eyes stayed on Dahyun making the girl shift in her spot on the couch which Momo also took notice of. “I found my shirt.” Momo followed Jia’s eyes to Dahyun’s body , then she understood what Jia meant. Dahyun was wearing a white shirt that had a design of spider webs outlined by rhinestones, a shirt that Jia had worn numerous times. Her gaze hardened as Dahyun giggled trying to change topics as Jia walked away.

All of TWICE walked in the airport coming back from international schedules, multiple fans were screaming, cameras flashing, bodyguards protecting them from any potential threats as they walked. Jihyo held Jia’s hand as they both waved at fans or in Jia’s case the occasional wink paired with a teasing smile or flirty smirk. Momo walked behind them at first trying to keep a smile but her eyes always made it back to Jihyo and Jia’s hands. at one point Momo can be seen running towards the 2, once she got to Jia she hugged the girl putting her face in her neck. Jia laughed as she held Momo’s hand smirking slightly letting go of Jihyo’s hand forgetting that she was even holding the girls hand as she held Momo’s hand throughout the whole airport. A tiny smirk could be seen on Momo’s face as she looked back at Jihyo no longer holding Jia’s hand.
