I'm a sentient android from the future. Call me Sparky or Peach. My pronouns are They/Them. I wrote all of the Free! abridged show 50% Off! and also voiced Haru and Rin. I beat Ed Asner into a coma in a bare knuckle fight in 85'.
are you writing anything or working on any projects that we could check out and support? fan of your sense of humor
nope! ive been sort of in a weird transitional space in my life for a little while that has made it hard to work on anything. i flirt around with the idea of streaming but lately the idea of making "content" makes my stomach turn. you can always check out my twitter at android_sparky but im not crazy active there either.
do you get bored of answering questions about 50%??
I get way less than you must think but also no. People are almost always really nice about it and I feel really grateful for that. Feels fair to answer any question as the trade yknow.
hope i'm not bothering you by asking this but were you aware of osdd-1A or dissociative identity disorder when you were writing Haru? I know it's played for shits and giggles but as someone with partial dissociative identity disorder myself, 50% Off Haru is like the funniest accidental plural rep i could ever ask for
I never mind answering questions about the show. I never had any sort of disorder in mind while writing haru and when we started the show we didnt even have the idea that he'd have a bunch of harus in his head it was a joke in a bonus that just sort of evolved. jokes are often always escalating in that way. haru is a guy who's quiet in pensive what if he has an inner monologue, oh what if that inner monologue talks back, oh what if its not just one guy talking back what if he's having multiple conversations, oh what if its its own world etc etc. its cool that his plurality hit with you though even if it was totally by accident!
guinness world records wont send a guy out to confirm i can drunk drive the farthest and best in the world but i guess truly exceptional people arent valued in society anymore
