Bottom row is TNG, the other five are TOS (the turned ones are just reads in progress!). Most are numbered, but not all! The horizontal books are hardcovers! All of shatner's books are hardcover, bc why not (there are vertical hardcovers on a different shelf I know, they didn't fit)

The books on the top facing a different direction: the three left columns are duplicate copies of TOS books, the next is TNG, then DS9, and Voyager! I've stuck to TOS and TNG mainly, theres just so much content in star trek it can be overwhelming otherwise!

Obsessed with this because now I’m imagining them socializing with human kids and not realizing why the humans are so emotional and start crying when they headbutt a bit too hard. Vulcans are sturdy, even as kids, so it takes more for them to get hurt.

Vulcan parents suddenly having to sit down with a 3 year old like “your human playmates are much more delicate than you. They are more easily hurt by what would not harm you”

And instead of the kid just not headbutting their friends it turns into them headbutting anyone who gets too close to their fragile classmates who can’t even handle a hello bonk on the noggin

Saw a post about teeny tiny humans headbutting to show affection after witnessing cats doing it. And I instantly thought of Vulcans.

Vulcans who have big cat bears hanging out in their house as the family pet.

I’m just imagining baby Vulcans, so used to touch because of telepathy and early childhood bond forming. So used to having their parents touch their psi-points to initiate a bond.

And they have a cat teddy bear who loves rubbing their face all over their favorite person. So Vulcan toddlers press their psi-points to all their favorite things. Trying to telepathically connect with their stuffed animals, butting their head against their mom’s hand, forehead connecting with a shoulder while sitting at a tea ceremony. Unfocused early meditation lessons where the kid just gets up and smacks their head against dad’s a little too hard
