the fact the wataei “they’re worse than lovers” post is the FIRST post that comes up when you tumblr search keito hasumi haunts me. is he forever going to be an accessory to eichi I just want to see KEITO YAOI
And when you search wataei you still get that evil warzone poll as a top post so no one's happy but i suppose that worse than lovers post is my doing and i need to make up for the inconvenience... I was going to draw you keito slipping on ice and kuro catching him but then i didnt like how it was turning out at all. Sorry. Would some doodles be alright too?^_^
I sent this to another akatsukiP but im too lazy to retype. </3 do you also have any thoughts? :O
OH SO SO MUCH Gold has always been an accent color for akatsuki. Their unit uniforms have flecks of gold on them too!
Gold is also representative of not only status, but permanence. To say that this 'stage of dreams' is 'golden' is to basically assert the Permanence of Keito Hasumi's 'Dream Stage'. AKATSUKI's stage.
Excellent contrast with AKATSUKI's debut song, Hyakka Ryouran, Akatsukiyo. The composer themself actually said on Twitter that they fully intended Konjiki Seiya Yume Butai to be a Successor to that song. Hyakka Ryouran places so much emphases on a fleeting, instant dream. One that is transient, to be admired, but ultimately intangible. That's one of the biggest associated symbolism with cherry blossoms too. They're fleeting, once a year, to be admired and cherished.
It's similar to AKATSUKI, conceived as a Unit not out of any particular aspirations for idol work, but rather to make people value their own dreams and even cut down the dreams of those unworthy or half-hearted.
So to have a song for AKATSUKI wherein they repeatedly declare their togetherness, declare a stage with all three of them to be a A dreamlike, golden stage that lasts as much as a Thousand nights... It's wonderful. Because That Is what AKATSUKI's arc in !! Era has been. They were never supposed to be more than a spectacle like falling petals, but they've turned into a shared dream of immense worth to all three of them. Because they want to be with eachother. Because they love their craft.
It's funny, because as a Buddhist, transience is something that should be accepted, but Keito as a character so strongly rejects that notion that he takes a Shakujō used for prayer chants and wields it as a Weapon.
I think you should know that there's an enstars yearbook going on in tumblr rn and you are nominated (your sideblog) to the "could fight god and win" category
