Subtle Witchcraft Tips
(coming from a closeted witch of 3-4 years)
stitch sigils or runes into your clothing - use a thread that’s the same colour of the fabric for extra subtlety
use bandanas to veil
display certain items as if they’re just decorative - all of my crystals are on a shelf and when my family asks i just tell them i like crystals! they’ve now assumed i’m a geology nerd lol
look into tea magick! tea is such a powerful tool for witchcraft and simply stirring your tea with intention can be a form of magick
if you wear makeup, paint sigils on your face with your foundation or concealer before blending
similarly if you wear nail polish, paint sigils on your nails
use perfumes or body products with certain scents that correlate to certain meanings e.g my shower gel and body oil are both lavender scented
create a shoebox altar - this makes it small and easy to hide
household herbs and spices can easily be used in spells!!
remember that a pendulum doesn’t have to be a fancy crystal on a chain, any small weight on a string can work just as well
any basic candle can be used in spells
research the correspondences of wearing rings on certain fingers
i love doing kitchen magick!! it’s so easy to incorporate into everyday life without blatantly being a form of magick
house plants can be great in magick
i know i briefly mentioned sigils before but don’t underestimate how powerful sigils can be!!
create small spell jars that you could easily hide
and remember: your craft is uniquely your own. don’t let anyone tell you what is and isn’t required to be a valid witch. i’ve had to be subtle about my practice for years and it’s taken a while for me to realise that i’m just as much of a witch as someone who openly practices.
blessed be <3

Sigils by @french-baby-witch
My mom’s mint has been infected by a fungus, so I had the idea of creating a sigil for plants. I finally did it to help my succulents acclimate to their new pots and earth (since the mint is healing itself quite well).
Also, I’m planning to hand-sew a pouch for my crystals. I needed a sigil to prevent them from charging the pouch. (They tend to charge whatever they’re in contact with, except furnitures)

Internal use:
In internal use Garlic is used in prophylaxis and treatment of infectious diseases (influenza, typhoid, diphtheria), in treatment of diarrhea and dysentery, pulmonary diseases (tuberculosis, chronic bronchitis), asthma and emphysema, as well as whooping cough. He is also useful in cases of asthenia, cardiac fatigue, in the treatment of certain tachycardias, arterial hypertension, and other circulatory disorders. Garlic is also famous in the treatment of arteriosclerosis, rheumatism, gout, urinary lithiasis and to fight against parasites intestinal (ascaris, pinworms, tapeworm). Garlic can cure many other diseases, that it would betedious to name them all here, Garlic having indeed long been known as a remedy almost universal and inexpensive.
For all this, get into the habit of eating Garlic regular - ly in the form of a condiment, in your dishes, salads, etc. Use raw preferably.
If bad breath doesn't put you off, you can also eat one or two cloves of garlic every morning, as well as with meals.
You can also chop two cloves of garlic every evening with a few sprigs of parsley and add a few drops of olive oil. The next morning, make it into a toast for breakfast.
You can also do discontinuous courses of a few days of Garlic tincture at 1/50 at the rate of 10 to 15 drops twice a day.
As a treatment for bronchitis, whooping cough, emphysema and hypertension, you can take 20 to 30 drops of garlic alcohol twice a day.
To get rid of intestinal parasites, grate 3 to 4 garlic cloves in a cup of water or boiling milk, let macerate overnight, and drink the mixture the next day on an empty stomach. This treatment must be followed for 3 weeks.
You can also make a decoction of 25 g of Garlic for 20 minutes in a glass of water or milk, which you will take at the rate of two glasses a day for 34 days during the descending moon. This cure is to be renewed each month.
Against intestinal worms you can also take 20 g of garlic juice in 200 g of warm milk on an empty stomach.
Or take a deworming syrup, consisting of 200 g of crushed garlic cloves which you will infuse for 1 hour in a liter of boiling water, then strain everything, and add 1 kg of sugar. This syrup is to be taken at the rate of 2 to 3 tablespoons in the morning on an empty stomach.
To fight more specifically against tapeworms (which are particularly tough parasites), grate the cloves of a large head of garlic, and boil them for 20 minutes in milk. To drink this mixture every morning on an empty stomach until the worm is expelled, and do not eat anything before noon.

Against white tumors, make yourself an ointment, consisting of crushed garlic with fat and the oil, which you will apply to the tumor.
To disinfect wounds and ulcers, use a 10% garlic juice solution with 1-2% of alcohol, or make compresses of garlic vinegar consisting of 30 g of grated garlic which you will macerate for 10 days in half a liter of vinegar.
Against scabies and ringworm, wash yourself with a decoction of 6 garlic cloves for one liter water, or rubbing with a mixture of one part garlic to two parts camphor oil. This latter mixture can also be used in friction against asthenia and general fatigue.
Against rheumatic deafness, insert a cotton swab soaked in garlic juice into the ear nightly.

Against corns, warts and calluses, crush a clove of garlic that you will apply in the evening as a fresh poultice, taking care to protect the areas of healthy skin with a plaster. The results should be visible after 15 days.
Another solution is to apply a hot clove of garlic, cooked in the oven, several times a day to the area to be treated. You can also cut a Garlic slice that you will apply by holding it firmly on the area to be treated. This treatment is to be renewed morning and evening.
Against warts and small cysts, you can rub the area with a piece of garlic several times a day. At the end of the treatment, make small clay plasters.

Magic and Witchcraft
• Gender: Male
• Planet: Mars
• Element: Fire
• Deities: Hecate, Mars, Brigit, Lugh, Loucetios
Magical Properties
Garlic was eaten at feasts in honor of Hecate, and it was left at crossroads as a sacrifice for Her.
Garlic was said to protect against the plague, and it is still used to cure diseases. Hang garlic above a sick person's bed to stop fever dreams and drive away dark thoughts.
To avoid contagion, approach the sick person with a clove of garlic in the mouth. Garlic has always been considered an excellent repellent, perhaps because of its smell, both to ward off spirits and "miasmas"
An ancient incantation used Garlic as protection against hepatitis. For this, it was enough to wear 13 garlic cloves at the end of a rope around the neck for 13 days. On the last day, in the middle of the night, we had to walk to the intersection of two streets, remove the garlic necklace, leave it behind and return home without looking back.
Garlic is also very protective. Sailors carried them on board ships to protect them from theshipwreck. If you are planning a boat trip carry a pod for safe passage.
In the Middle Ages soldiers wore it as a shield, while the Romans ate it to give themselves courage.
Garlic is especially recommended for protect houses, it protects it against the intrusion of demons, against thieves and burglars, and hanging above the door it repels envious people. it is Use to purify a haunted house, The garlic near the entrances prevents dark energies from coming back into the house after the exorcism.
Worn on someone it protects against bad weather (mountain people wear it), and monsters, and it serves as a shield against the attacks of your enemies.
When evil spirits are around, bite garlic to scare them away, or sprinkle powder garlic on the floor (if you can't eat it for a while).
Garlic is also placed above children's beds to protect them while they sleep, and engaged couples carried a clove of it in their pocket, for good luck and to ward off demons on their Great Day.
Rubbed inside pots and pans before cooking in them, Garlic will repel negatives vibrations that could contaminate the food.
When eaten, Garlic acts as a aphrodisiac, A tomato sauce with basil and garlic makes it a classic love potion. Add candles and enchant an evening guest.
When a magnet or lodestone is rubbed with Garlic then it loses its magical powers.
To break a spell. if your best intentions have gone awry, reverse your ritual and bury all of the spell's remaining ingredients in a deep hole with a clove of garlic.
Leave one clove in a pod with your divination tools. to prevent negative energies from passing through the "gateway" of tarot cards, runes or ouija boards
Stop the gossip. Stuff a poppet in the mouth with garlic, then sew the mouth.

Against evil:
If you fear that you will be spiritualy hurt , sew a small white fabric bag with white thread. Fill it, while visualizing your goal with a head of garlic, a sprig of mint a sprig of parsley, a little incense and a small lock of your hair. Close the bag with a white ribbon and pronounce the following evocation three times:
"Protect me from all those who wish me harm"
You can keep this small sachet in the shelter of your home, where it will repel the negative waves that are sent to you.
To delay old age:
Garlic and Carrot Juice
Squeeze a carrot and a clove of garlic and drink the juice collected in the middle of meals, Avoid when taking it to associate it with pork.
Vegetable Puree
In a mortar, crush the garlic, onion, cabbage, carrots and raw spinach into very small pieces to obtain a uniform mixture that you will keep refrigerated in a glass container. Every day before each meal, take a spoon of this mixture in a small cup of hot water.
Health Toast
At each new moon, take as your only meal of the day, a good piece of toast on which you will have rubbed fresh garlic, sprinkled with chopped parsley, which you will have sprinkled with a few drops of olive oil.
Elixir of Youth
Finely chop 100 g of peeled garlic which you will leave to macerate for a full lunar month in a quarter of a liter of brandy.
Then filter and put the liquid obtained in a closed container. Drink from a shot glass morning and evening. This preparation is an excellent tonic especially in winter.
Warning
Please note: the notes on the phytotherapeutic use of plants are purely indicative and do not replace consultation with a doctor.  Absolutely avoid self-medication.  If you are sick, go see a doctor, only he can make a diagnosis and prescribe the best treatment.

Expanded Moon Phase Cheat Sheet
This is a much longer version of my original Moon Phase Cheat Sheet - with more phases, terms, and definitions for your quick and easy magical reference!
WAXING: These are the phases when the Moon appears to be growing. This period is divided into the First Quarter and Second Quarter, and takes about 14 days.
Good For: Drawing things towards you, increasing
New Moon: This is when the moon is just a sliver in the sky. From here, the Moon takes about 14 days to reach Full. (First Quarter)
Good For: New beginnings, potential, starts
Crescent Moon: When the Moon is a visible crescent in the sky - “The Moon of Continuing Dedication”. (First Quarter)
Good For: Treated magically like the New Moon.
Waxing Half-Moon: When the moon is half full, and growing. Occurs about a week after the New Moon. (Second Quarter)
Good For: Progressing from verbal to thought magic, plans forming into actualities.
Gibbous Moon: The last slip-thread before the Moon is full. (Second Quarter)
Good For: Deep love spells, relationships, peak emotions.
FULL MOON: This one’s self-explanatory! The Moon  remains looking Full for about 2 to 3 days, though purists choose to work magick only on the peak day. It is considered part of the Second Quarter by some.
Good For: The Full Moon is considered the most powerful Moon, due to it shining at full brightness. Many Witches choose to commemorate the occasion with a ritual or Esbat, and even more use this moon for their main spellcraft.
WANING: The phases when the Moon appears to be dissapearing. This period is divided into the Third and Fourth Quarters, and includes the Dark Moon. The Moon takes another 14 or so days to complete its cycle.
Good For: Removing, drawing away, banishing, and cleansing
Third Quarter: The waning quarter after the Full Moon. (Third Quarter)
Good For: Dissolving problems, letting go, endings, and detoxifying
Disseminating Moon: The beginning of the Moon dissappearing. (Third Quarter)
Good For:  Breaking bad habits, legal matters, cleansing
Waning Half-Moon: When the Moon is half light and half dark in the circle, and getting darker. (Fourth Quarter)
Good For: Reflection, meditative thought, ridding self of unwanted things
Waning Crescent Moon: The last slip of moon before it grows fully dark. (Fourth Quarter)
Good For: Serious issues, quitting something, understanding unfathomed elements
Dark Moon: The period of time when the Moon is completely invisible in the sky. For our course, this is considered the last part of the Moon’s cycle (some traditions count it as the first – neither is wrong). (Fourth Quarter)
Good For: Protection, wisdom, self-honoring rituals, purificaton, banishing
Apply in accordance with your magical intent, and use the lunar tides to your advantage. :>

DIY Sea Shell Candles🕯🌊 made from recycled birthday candles
I’m sure there are plenty of posts like this one, but I’m just proud that I made some myself! So here’s my process!
What I used:
~ Old birthday candles ~ Shells (Mine were mussel shells) ~ Essential Oils of your choice(I used chamomile & peppermint) ~ A peeler, knife or scissors ~ Something to melt the wax in(I was lucky enough to have metal measuring cups) ~ A clothes pin to keep the wick up
Here’s how to do it!
Originally I was just trying to get the white design off the candles, so I could have homemade looking colored candles for spells. I ended up breaking a few of them while trying to peel the design off so I just used the left over candle and reused the wick for my sea shell candles!
🕯First I scraped the design off(carefully), and kept them in piles of the color. You’ll have to break one of the candles for the wick. One wick will work for two sea shells unless your shells are larger.
🕯Second I put the scraps of wax into the metal measuring cup and placed that on a pan on the stove to heat it and melt. Once melted, I tossed a few drops of my essential oils into the wax to make it smell good. I used chamomile(for calming, success, & easing anxiety) & peppermint(for healing, love, cleansing, and that extra little boost I need sometimes!) But feel free to add whatever you like!
🕯Third I poured the wax into the shells carefully. You may want to make sure the shells are evenly placed, maybe put something on one side to balance it so the wax doesn’t spill out. Then, while the wax is still hot I used a clothes pin to put the wick in and left it to dry. Once dry, your shell doesn’t have to be level(unless you filled it to the top - then your wax will shift when lighted!)
That’s it! It was super simple and easy and quick. Now I also have some great, mini and homemade looking spell candles as well as some aromatherapeutic sea shell candles for my desk while I work & read. Enjoy your sea shell candles my fellow witches! 🌙
Blessed be🥀
