Okay but were prison mates ever able to interact in Azkaban? Did prisoners ever leave their cells? Was there a communal courtyard they got to walk round once a week?

I know there’s nothing in the book that suggests there is but I feel like it’s one of those areas where JKR just neglected to mention it because she never properly thinks through world building it wasn’t relevant to Harry’s story. Is every single person who’s sent there, no matter the severity of the crime, locked in a cell on their own? It wouldn’t make sense in terms of basic criminal justice, but the wizarding world’s already shown they don’t care about that. But it makes me wonder how prisoners hear so much about the going’s on in Azkaban if they can’t interact beyond their neighbouring cells.

Anyway I mostly just want to know if Sirius was miserably fucking his way round whatever guys in Azkaban were still hot.
