Hello then, welcome to my green house

I'm Aria, agricultist of the Terrene Protectorate, I'd call my self captain, but I do lack a crew, and my ship is borrowed, though it seems like it might properly be mine at this point... Either way, I'll be keeping logs and trying to answer any questions that might come my way as I get set up, seeing as it seems I might have to be a generalist for a while. Thankfully I did have supplies, and I know this planet is abandoned so I have plenty of room to practice various farm and green house shapes. Unforantly I think my first shipment will be late, so I'll have to make do with mining and the like, thankfully this planet is small, so a core pump shouldn't be too difficult to set up, and there's plenty of wind on this planet for power... If I had been shipped with turbines..

But for now, down to the deep I go, and hopefully I can get my hands on material I need for a rain staff while wait to get my aeroponics going

"Base" project - progress day 1

Started with the water/plumbing facility. I ran into some roadblocks when the foundry items I wanted weren't scanned yet, so I had to survey some volcanic planets. Also I really want the space slideshow, the wiki says it can be found on stations and certain space encounters but I've yet to locate one...

Planning to branch this off into a waste disposal service-thing(?)

Wowie! Another reference picture for a starbound OC This is a floran named taraxa! her brief story is; Her parents were classic, aggressive florans, and believed in superiority in strength. So taraxa was constantly fighting in tournaments and other such games in her home planet. She Slowly became the best fighter for her age. That ended when she learned there was a bounty on her parents head Simply put she decided money over parents and collected the bounty on them. she continued bounty hunting from there! She belongs to the story me and @you-get-the-gist are making! I love her dearly,, and she probably hates me- she also comes with a comic! This one Is way longer than the other, so I got way too lazy to color it.. (The novakids are @you-get-the-gist's characters, so credit to him)

(Yes, Taraxa Always elongates her S's, it's a pain to write)

Vertex Village

In a fit of "wanna build; got no inspo" I thought I'd try recreating Vertex Village from my old server, with a few upgrades. Vertex Village was the base of at least two stories from Tales of the Starbound.

Something that's a little frustrating is that I know I'd built more on top of this village, but alas I never took a final set of screenshots before the server was wiped and I don't recall what was up there 😮‍💨️

I Had a lot of fun filling in Sandcastle's template with Oxi Dado! Oxi constantly covers their whole body to hide their species, so I'm not saying wich one of these is their actual face

The free spaces are Shadow and Deadbeat with the joke one on the right being their pet wearing their glasses. I wonder if anyone can guess wich one of these is the real one.

This template is really fun to do! aaa I enjoyed the challenge of doing all the species in one go on one canvas.

A commission of a Starbound character named Auramin! I had a lot of fun drawing the character and making a fun little background, so I'm really glad with how this piece turned out! Said background is meant to mimic the streets of a Hylotl town, which are inspired by modern Japanese towns.
