Scout Battlemechs

I will admit that on the battlefield, when one is piloting a heavy or assault class battlemech, a light scout can be a nuisance, especially when they spot for an LRM carrier that you could not otherwise target. On the other hand, it brings me great joy to do the same when I find myself in the cockpit of one.

I have been playing an interesting...video game, I believe you spheroids call them, called Kerbal Space Program, a simulation where one can take little green men to the stars on the back of hilariously substandard chemical rockets. Quite amusing, for something made by Dezgra Inner Spheroids.

You blasted fools, you are not supposed to mount flamers on every single last slot you can. Not only is it a stupidly large producer of waste heat, it completely defeats the point of combat. Close combat is disgusting, there is no honor in it.

Gundam

I watched the first five episodes of the entertainment cartoon "Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn", earlier. The animation was superb. I see that you inner spheroids are at least capable of creating works of art...many of the falcon would scoff at such things, but a bondsman in my employ mentioned that the show contained battlemechs.

By the great father, I have never seen battlemechs with such power before. The mechs in Gundam move as if they were the most fluid of elementals...it was Unreal. If only our laggard scientist caste could create something so right..

It seems absurd to me that you spheroids think that it is acceptable etiquette to weld four class 2 auto-cannons onto a platform such as a Cataphract. Do you not think that doing such a thing is somewhat...silly, quiaff?

What is this odd phenomenon with house Kurita mechwarriors and cartoons featuring caricatures of humans with abnormally large eyes? Furthermore, why do so many of these cartoons feature prepubescent girls in frilly clothes casting magical spells?

What is this filth? Do the developers of this interactive entertainment game for personal computers have no shame? How could they release a Battle Mech Simulator without the Honorable Battle Mechs of Clan Jade Falcon? At least they have restricted the un-honorable practice of melee combat in a battle mech.

No matter. Soon we shall invade the Inner Sphere in-game and the day shall be ours.
